The Apple Doesn't Fall Far
The day was cold and dark. The pegasi have decided to schedule an emergency storm to make up for a two week drought. Apple Bloom was walking home the same path of trees she would walk to her home. She was in school still a filly but Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo already had their cutie marks and they would ignore her in school. They would tease her and call her “Blank Flank” and “Farm Girl”. She would go to the tree house that had been the Cutie Mark Crusaders Head Quarters. She remembered all the fun they had trying to find their special talent. Sweetie Belle’s cutie mark was a microphone with swirls symbolizing how it was hypnotizing when she sang. Scootaloo’s cutie mark was a red scooter with wings symbolizing her tricks with a scooter and how she still couldn’t fly but was so advanced with the scooter that she could rival train speed. Apple Bloom was in tears in the tree house. She would cry so much that her eyes would start to bleed, she would cry so hard that her coat was stained with the tears and blood of the poor yellow filly. How could this happen?... she thought to herself as she was curled up in a ball from the recent teasing from her ex best friends and the whole class when it let out. Today’s bullying was worse however when Scootaloo asked Apple Bloom to see her in the alley behind the school. Scootaloo looked at her lovingly and acted like she was going to kiss her but instead punched her in the muzzle as the other kids popped out from around the corner and started to beat her screaming at her calling her “Filly fooler”,”Lesbo”,”Blankie”,”Cunt sucking bitch,” and other profound names. She had feelings for Scootaloo and told her on Hearts and Hooves day but Scootaloo just punched her in the face and started beating her with Sweetie Belle joining in. Ever since then her so called friends would beat her up and she’d come home with bruises and sometimes bleeding. She told Big Mac but he couldn’t do anything except hug her. Her sister Apple Jack found out about her confession and told her how it was wrong and it was a crime against Celestia herself and she wouldn’t become an angle because of her life choice. Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash had a loving relationship and Twilight was starting to have feelings for a blue mare named Trixie. When she mentioned that she got hit in the face for bringing up that in their house. Apple Jack accepted the fact that Twilight and Pinkie was a lesbian but not her little sister. It brought tears to her eyes. Apple Jack knew about the bullying and so did Big Mac but was afraid to tell rarity or the school because they felt the same way about mares loving mares. Apple Bloom was too afraid to ask Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie in fear they would tell Scootlaoo then she’d get more beatings for being a snitch.
Apple Bloom laid there on the cold wood of the club house and cried over the day’s events. Apple Bloom just got beat up by the whole school. Sure she got beat up after school but she seemed like it this time she lost all hope. Not to mention the love of her life joined in on the “fun”. She got a paper and pen and started to write. She started to write her feelings down all of them. She wrote poems, stories and pictures. She needed an outlet but that hurt her even more. She started to write things like “blank flank”, “Pig”, “Filly fooler” and taped it to herself. Apple Bloom finally wrote something which would be her last words. Apple Bloom got the rope that pulled the bridge up to the club house and chewed it off. She decided to end it all. She wished everything could change. She wished somepony would love her for who she is. It wasn't her fault she liked mares she was just attracted to them.
She made a noose with the rope. She set it up in a way which it would support her weight. I’m sorry she thought with tears pouring down her face. I wish there could be another way but there isn't. She tied the rope to one of the railings and put the noose around her neck. Mah family Mah friends I’m so sorry. When she took off the rope the bridge fell little did she know Apple Jack was on her way to see what had happened. Oh Celestia I’m sorry. Please forgive me and she jumped. There was a crack and Apple Bloom thought it was her neck but it was a lightning bolt striking a tree in the distance. She was still alive but the rope was choking her out. Apple Bloom saw Apple Jack and heard her screaming but it wasn't very clear. By the time she drew her last breath Apple Jack arrived screaming. Mamma papa….I’ll see you soon…That was her last thought as she drifted away to an endless sleep. Apple Jack was and screaming her lungs out as rain fell upon her face. Rainbow Dash arrived there as soon as she heard Apple Jack scream and saw the little filly hanging there and she just hugged Apple Jack as the rain fell heavily on them. The paper was falling off the filly’s body as the words floated down toward them. “Filly fooler”, “Blank Flank”, “Pig”, “Farm Girl”, all of those names fell on the ground as she was there on the rope. Apple Jack just kept crying and Rainbow Dash was trying to get Apple Bloom down from there. The rope was too tight even for her. She couldn't pull it lose. The rain was falling like lead onto the dead filly tied to a rope and the ponies down below. If Apple Bloom would have looked at her hips before she jumped she would have saw it. An apple with a rope tied around it.

It was a cold day with rain coming down in small droplets and a dark overcast polluting the sky. It was also a sad day in Ponyville. The kin of the Element of Honesty was going to be laid to an eternal rest. The funeral procession in itself looked like a party. Black balloons strung up next to the coffin, a black coffin, even the ponies that showed up was dressed in black. If it was any other pony not this many ponies would show up. A young pony decided to take her own self out of this cruel world a week ago and Ponyville hasn’t been the same since. The lifeless yellow filly laid in the coffin with a red bow in her hair that matched her red hair and she looked peaceful. She finally looked…Happy. A since of joy was over her face. Her suffering was over. Even though she wouldn’t begin to live out her life in the endless hell that was her life she could start anew. She would finally meet her mom and dad. As she laid there she was wondering what would be of this new life. Who knows she might find love here. The small apple filly looked at rest. In fact it would have looked as if she died in her sleep but all of Ponyville knew. She didn’t want to be dressed up in her coffin so the mark of her death could be shown. So it could be shown at what a Celestia damned cruel world this was. A red rope mark was around the filly’s neck. There was actually an indent into the skin where the throat sunk in. When she was being brought down from her hanging place the only way to get the rope off was to crush her windpipe completely. Pinkie Pie who was known for throwing parties hosted her funeral. Her colors were drained and her hair deflated. She set up her funeral. Black balloons on one side of the rows and red on the other. Red and black were Apple Bloom’s favorite colors after all.
Pinkie Pie was sobbing into her lover’s coat. Rainbow Dash just held her closer. Pinkie was distraught. She wanted to do the funeral at no cost to Apple Jack but she never imagined at the time of the funeral it would be this hard. She even cried harder when she remembered Apple Bloom’s suicide note. In fact Rainbow Dash almost bucked Apple Jack to once side of Equestria and back. The note mentioned everything that happened. The beatings she would get Apple Jack’s reaction. That’s what got Rainbow pissed off the most. She knew her religious standings but to threaten her little sister with eternal damnation for something she couldn't control was ludicrous. Rainbow Dash just held Pinkie there in her hooves. No one expected this. Hell no one expected Apple Bloom to die this way. Last week she was out trying to find her cutie mark and here she is one week later with a cutie mark on her flank and about to be buried six hooves under. Rainbow Dash was known for being the top of her and Pinkie’s relationship but was crying into her lover’s mane also. They both held each other crying as a filly lay in a casket.
Princess Twilight was dressed in black as was her lover, Trixie. Trixie came down from Manehatten to comfort Twilight of her student’s untimely death. Trixie had a custom dress and hat made for such an occasion. Twilight on the other hoof just wanted to be dressed in a black veil to match Apple Jack’s but decided to match her significant other and have a black robe made for her. She stepped up to the pedestal behind the casket. She didn’t know what to say. Her student just laid there lifeless and unmoving. “As much as I would like to say something,” she started with a raspy voice “I just can’t. This filly was being tortured and now some ponies believe she’s suffering in hell for all eternity. That’s ludicrous. Princess Celestia knew the trouble she was going through. Filly fooler or not Princess Celesita only sends ponies who are evil to hell. Not filly foolers or gays. In fact Celestia herself is bi.” With that the crowd was aghast. No ponies knew about Princess Celestia’s sexuality except for Twilight. “This filly, I have no doubt, Is with Celestia waiting for the right time to go to heaven.” Many ponies at that got up and walked away. They were shocked at the blasphemy coming out of the Princess’ mouth. After that the casket was closed was being buried in the ground. Scootaloo felt a ping of regret for she was there and so was Sweetie Belle. They bullied her and now she was gone. They had no idea the trouble she was going through at home. Scootaloo was crying. She didn't know why. In truth she was scared. Rainbow Dash yelled at her for the first time saying that Apple Bloom’s death was her fault. That she should be banished to the sun for ending her life. Scootaloo felt sad. She was in truth scared about her hanging out with a filly fooler and a blank flank and that’s why she would bully and beat Apple Bloom. She was going through an eternal hell. Apple Jack was going through the same. Her little sister killed herself and no matter what Twilight said Apple Bloom is rotting in hell. She believed she wouldn't be seeing Apple Bloom in heaven. Apple Jack was looking into the hole her sister was being laid in and walked away. She was a disgrace to the Apple family. Sweetie Belle spat in the grave and Rarity hit her with her hoof. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie went home because Pinkie was too sad. Twilight and Trixie was holding each other watching as Twilight’s former student being lowered into a six foot hole in the ground. Twilight threw a rose onto the casket and Trixie did something no pony would have thought of. “Stop!” She yelled as they stopped lowering the casket into the hole. She levitated the lid open and reached into one of her saddle bags. A hat the same one she wore was made to perfectly fit a young filly. “If you were a unicorn, you would have made a fine magician.” With that she laid the hat onto the filly and closed the lid. That one action that day brought everyone to tears.
