After being struck by lightning at age three, Ortan's life has taken a strange turn. He has vivid dreams of ponies that are somehow familiar, despite having never met them. He sees things in broad daylight that aren't there. He is… different. Ortan is a mute and magic lacking unicorn, rendered so by the strike. His life has been rather rough, but he's been back on track for quite a while now. But today he has awakened to find all of Ponyville unoccupied, with hundreds of hoof prints leading into a forest that was not there the day before. Time to investigate.
