Friendship No More

It was a day just like any other. The birds were chirping and you could hear the distant voices of ponies greeting one another. Today, Twilight and her friends were hanging out in Sugar Cube Corners, reminiscing about old memories. "And remember when we tried to help Rainbow learn to study?" Exclaimed AppleJack who began jokingly nudging Rainbow Dash with her elbow. Rainbow smiled weakly, embarrassed. "I mean did you even see those crazy fancy getups we wore?" Continued AppleJack. She begins laughing jokingly and looked over at Rarity who nearly spat out her drink.

"Well, some of us,such as myself, prefer the finer things." She replied, sarcastically. Rainbow looked up from her hooves. "yeah? Well remember when Pinkie cloned herself like a million times?" Pinkie smiled fondly at the memory. "But it was so cool! Well except for when I forgot I was me I almost never forget I'm me" She said loudly and excitedly. Rainbow laughed. "Hey remember when we went to the old tower in the Everfree Forest?" Twilight chimed in, smiling wide. The other ponies just stopped and looked directly at Pinkie, who had begun to chug her pink punch.

"Pinkie" They all said in unison. Pinkie quickly finished her punch in one gulp. "Oh come on you have to admit it was a fun party. I didn't even know I could play the organ" The six friend laughed, having a good time. Then suddenly they all stopped and stared directly at twilight, who was still laughing but slowly stopped and stared at her friends, her face filling with worry. Rainbow Dash wrapped her arm around Twilight. "wake up" she said.

"what? What are you talking about?" Twilight asked, her voice now filled with worry. "Twilight, you need to wake up." Said AppleJack. "Wake up, dear" Said Rarity. Twilight's eyes began to dart around her circle of friends. "Please Twilight, you need to wake up" Fluttershy said quietly. "wakey wakey Twilight!" Yelled Pinkie Pie, who wasn't smiling, but instead showed no emotion whatsoever. "what...what are you guys talking about? I am awake. Stop telling me to wake up!" Twilight exclaimed. Then she was surrounded by a blinding light.
