Crafted Dusk, a fine blue mare with the knack for art, was born on April 30th in the bustling city of Manehatten. Her precious life began on that day. Her parents, Earthen Prose and Rightful Walker, looked at her and saw something great. When she was only a month old, her parents moved with her to the suburbs for a more peaceful life. There, she met a unicorn named Diamond Jewel. They laughed and played together, but when school started they forgot about each other. Now, we move in on Crafted Dusk's home in Horses Ridge.
The doorbell rang. "Can you go get that, Crafty? I've got to keep an eye on dinner." said Earthen Prose. Crafted Dusk responded "Sure mom!" She ran to the door and opened it with magic. Diamond Jewel stood there smiling. "Who are you?" said Crafted Dusk.
"I'm Diamond Jewel. Your best friend. Remember?"
"I don't remember. How long ago was it?"
"Before Kindergarten"
"Then I probably don't remember."
"Well, wanna play anyways?"
"What game?"
"Beauty dolls?"
"Too girly. How about Ponymon?"
"Too boyish."
"Then lets just mess around with the beauty dolls."
"Okay."
The fillies ran inside and played all the rest of the day. Sleepover upon sleepover. Playdate upon playdate. One day, in the way future when they were grown mares, Crafted Dusk graduated Celestias School for Gifted Unicorns. She became Celestias student and was asked to move to Ponyville to make some friends.
