//-------------------------------------------------------// Waltz with a zombie -by Sweet pup- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Waltz with a zombie //-------------------------------------------------------// Waltz with a zombie Luna walked through the empty hall her scarred face still beautiful. Her hoof wrapped around her bow as a shadow scurried by. No pony had survived here when they struck. The survivors now thrived in the ruins of ponyville and other ruins or they hid in the shelters. But no pony came to canterlot. They had taken away her magic. Canterlot had also been the most infected. Ponies transformed in seconds. The lifeless green eyes of the skeletons and the hungry moans of the undead. Another shadow scurried across the wall followed by distant moaning. Luna pulled back on the bow string. Every pony had either died or left. She wouldn't leave despite her sister's pleas because this was her home. The windows shimmered in the moonlight that she no longer controlled. It was always night here. No stars just the bright red moon. The grand galloping gala ballroom hadn't been stained with blood and luna hoped she wouldn't have to change that. There he emerged his suit in tatters his face hanging down mostly skeleton but chunks of flesh scattered on his blood stained bones. His once combed hair jutted out at odd angles and he limped as he walked towards her moaning. She put her bow back into her armor and smiled faintly at him. Maybe she wouldn't have to stain blood. He hobbled over to her and held his hoof out. Normally the zombies would attack but it seemed he would be a much slower killer. He reached out to grab luna and luna took his bloody hoof. She wrapped one around her waist and the other around her neck setting them up in a dance position. She whispered the command and a slow classical song played. They began moving slowly the zombie reaching out to bite Luna but luna suddenly would change the position. Finally she forced him to spin her and he reached out for her neck. She spun faster and he bit her hair leaving a red streak. They continued the dance as the music progressed and luna pondered if it would be easier to take the kiss if death and die. "No," she thought,'that wouldn't be fair to my love.' He had eagerly awaited the day she would join his safe haven. She might but for now this was her home. The music stopped as she made him give her one final spin. Her mane streaked with more blood. As she spun she unsheathed her dagger and as the music played the last note she entered the dagger into his head. She grabbed his body before it hit the ground. Because he was mostly skeleton no blood leaked from his cracked head. Luna slowly pulled the dagger out and carried his body to the garden. She laid him under a rose bush in the garden where flowers accompanied the smell of death and the dead bodies. Luna tidied him up the best she could and looked at her other victims. Most we're here but some she had to leave on the death spot because her life was in danger and she didn't have time to grieve them. A tear raced down her cheek as she sniffed a rose. The screams rang in her mind and then the screams turned into moans and the clinking of bones. She shivered and walked back into the castle walking to the throne room. Blood splattered the walls everywhere. The blood of the guards. Her sister's blood drenched the Throne. Her sister wasn't dead but was stuck between transforming and being a living pony thanks to little chaotic friend. No armor of the guards were here either. The monsters that carried their bodies had token the armor. Luna tried to fight the waterfalls of tears but they came. She had written to her sister and those she loved bit she hadn't visited them ever since she refused to leave. She mourned the dead but hated the monsters that carried them.
