Luna loves the foals of Equestria.
She swoops down from the sky, landing ever-so-softly on the grounds of the well-known Ponyville Elementary, where colts and fillies of all ages learn from a variety of sources about how Equestria was made. Also, they learn about the ponies of power, including her, Celestia, Cadance and her husband Shining Armor, Twilight Sparkle, and the biggest waste of space astounding Prince Blueblood. Together the four alicorns, the honored Captain of the Royal Guard, and the not-so-powerful annoyance rule Equestria together in harmony, that is, until Twilight finds another villain to pursue for being evil, or when Prince Blueblood loses his brush and blames the entire staff for misplacing his first world problem with a third world problem.
Luna hates Prince Blueblood.
If there is anything more to hate than a stallion with too much swagger in his step, then please ask for a private audience with Princess Luna. She has been waiting for somepony to crash in on his attempts of alluring mares and steal all of them from him. He needs to be shown what it is like to be out-swagged.
Luna loves justice.
Taking part in the aftermath of this destroyed pony would not waver her emotions. She would be concerned on the outside, but rejoicing on the inside. Justice is served coldly in most cases, but warmly in others. In this case, it would be served frozen. Not to mention, Princess Luna used to teach justice.
Luna loves teaching.
Her loyal student was her compadre, her partner in crime, her best friend. He was a young stallion who was quite tall for his age. He was an extremely nervous pony, yet eager to learn all about her night. She loved that about him: his willingness to learn from somepony who was older than the dirt he walked on, his compassion for learning about Moons and the stars, and his calm, collective demeanor when in a public place; she loved that.
Luna loves learning.
She was a young pony at one time, just like those who are in the classroom that she walks in, the stares of a thousand suns beating upon her lowly moon. She remembered a time when this same situation happened to her. Being a Princess at a young age gathered her the masses when they found out she was going to a school built for earth ponies. They who are equipped with the finest of Equestria’s flash photography stole multiple shots of her playing with ‘mud ponies’. She didn’t like those who bullied her friends.
Luna hates bullying.
Even though Prince Blueballsblood is an exception of this rule, Luna does not like picking on other ponies. It is not in her nature as one of the main faces of Equestria, a place where peace and prosperity reigns. No one of her status would be in their right mind to execute the proper procedures to manipulate and tease another for the sake of their own benefit, so that they can be entertained for approximately fourteen seconds while they take another long, careful sip of their delectable treat.
Luna loves coffee.
She sighs and sets her coffee down on the desk. The students of the class all stare, their mouths agape as the Princess sits beside their teacher, Miss Cheerilee. The two contrasting hues unite in harmony, sharing a small smile between them. They take a careful glance at the class, counting all those who either sit appropriately or glare at each other in seething hatred. Luna spots the group of hateraders: a group of five very angry fillies lock their gazes upon one another, a battle between two popular and three not-so-popular fillies, or so Luna thinks it is.
Luna loves dealing with drama.
It’s all part of her duty as a princess. Being a princess is not just a profession, it is a honorable duty that shines brightly to all those that look up to them. They are a role model, an austere worker that goes above and beyond the call of the will that brings about duty. One of Luna’s primary objectives is to put her hoof down to stop drama from escalating, especially in the dreams of Scootaloo who always wants to smash Diamond Tiara’s face with an awkwardly shaped chicken.
Luna loves using her voice.
Luna calmly greets the students, her voice almost bellowing at the class. “Greetings, youth of Equestria.”
The class perks up at the sound of her voice, their attention set on her.
Except for those few fillies, their glares still set in a blazing battle for the right to live.
Princess Luna ignores their quarrel. “I am here today to teach you something that Miss Cheerilee advocates for all of you.”
Pipsqueak, a fellow Luna knows well, raises his hoof.
“Yes, Pipsqueak?” Luna says, pointing her hoof at the young aspiring pirate.
He stands up, causing all eyes to turn towards him. “Is it Nightmare Night?”
Luna smiles. “No, but tis a wonderful holiday, is it not?”
The class nods, not a single smile out of place. That is, until Luna locked her gaze with those five rule-breaking fillies, the battle of the century continuing its distracting existence.
She had to end this.
Luna leans over to Cheerilee and whispers in her ear for a moment. As she speaks, Cheerilee nods, her face adorning a beautiful bright smile. Miss Cheerilee mutters an affirmative while Luna stands up and excuses herself, heading around the left side of the classroom to dissuade the fillies from exiting their staring game.
Miss Cheerilee stands up and addresses the classroom. “Fillies and Gentlecolts, may you all rise for the pledge.”
The distraction Cheerilee set bought Luna enough time to swing around the back of the institution to peer into the windows directly in front of those five distracting fillies. She carefully disengages the window locks, allowing it to slowly slide open unnoticed over the calm chorus of the Equestrian Pledge. The room echoes out the declaration and as Luna predicted, those who did not comply were those still involved in the intense staring match. It was time to break that up: princess style.
Luna loves her Canterlot Voice.
“WHO DARES TO DISOBEY ORDERS IN MY CLASS?” bellows Luna through the windows, shattering the concentration of the five fillies by the sheer randomness of the sound. Three of the participants look around, searching for the loud booming voice while the other two stare frozen, turning towards Miss Cheerilee in astonishment.
In seconds, Luna returned to her post, teleporting back to her seat in a flash. With a sharp, yet calm voice, the Princess announces their demises. “You who stare unconsciously and disobey our instruction, what do you have to say for yourselves?”
One raises their white short hoof, giving Luna knowledge as to who owns it. “Yes, Sweetie Belle?”
Sweetie Belle quietly mutters to herself, before answering the question. “Um… sorry?”
The awkwardness in the voice does not give sympathy to the cause. Luna shakes her head. “You do not sound sorry for your actions. May I ask you to see Miss Cheerilee and I after class? We would be delighted to stare at you then.”
The five blush simultaneously while the rest of the class points and laughs, bringing their embarrassment to a whole new level.
After a few seconds of public humiliation, the two teachers share a nod. That should get them focused on the lesson. “Enough of that class, let us indulge in the fun of learning, shall we?” Luna proposes. “After all, it’s better than staring at one another?”
The chorus of “Yes!” sounds off in varying volumes.
Luna loves happy children.
“Alright, class. Today, I will be here to lecture you on something your teacher and I hold dear. Have you ever heard of coffee?”
The class remains silent, not even a mouse to be heard.
Except one pony, who raised their hoof, their large bow showing proudly in the light.
“Yes, Apple Bloom?”
Said pony stands proudly, her uncontained excitement for the subject seen around, her smile threatening to leave her face and shoot to the Moons above. “I know! It’s that liquid my sis drinks in the mornin’ before goin’ to the fields!”
Luna grins. “Well, you’re correct. It is a liquid, but what does it do?”
Apple Bloom’s smile turns to an awkward frown. “I dunno…” She quietly rests her bum on the wooden stump, the creakiness of her chair startles the one who sleeps in the air. The yelp can be heard from the flying orange pegasus, her wings slowing her fall to the pitfall below. As she crashes to the ground, the fillies and colts roar in laughter, giving her no time to hide her embarrassment. No doubt, even for one who disobeyed earlier, Luna knew this was overkill.
She nudges her co-operating teacher, grabbing her attention with ease. “Cheerilee,” Luna whispers. “Can you take this situation?”
Miss Cheerilee gives her a nod and stands up to address the class. “One, Two, Three, Four,” she commands sternly.
The class echoes back, “Eyes straight, hooves placed, attention paced, none chased!”
Miss Cheerilee smiles. “Are we ready to continue?”
“Yes, Miss Cheerilee,” the class responds in unison.
“Good,” Miss Cheerilee says. “Now, let’s give our full attention to Miss Luna, okay?”
“Okay!” the class bellows appreciatively.
Pipsqueak smiles brightly, “Take the floor, matey!”
Princess Luna loves to giggle.
She giggles rather cutely, her soft melodic tones surprising the class fully. Even Cheerilee is surprised, trying to hold herself from joining in the Princess’ adorable laughter. Eventually, her laughs subsides, but the damage has already been done: at least three were to receive the status of ‘fainted in action’.
Princess Luna cares for her students.
She nudges her co-operating teacher once again, this time pointing to the three missing in action. “Take care of these, see if you can wake them up.”
Miss Cheerilee smiles. “Of course.”
“Thank you,” Miss Luna acknowledges, turning her attention to the rest of the class while her copartner takes care of the three down in the field. “Attention, class. Today, we’ll be learning about that liquid of all liquids: one that is warm and energizing. Tell me, class, have any of you tried this holy drink?”
The class is silent, except for three hooves shooting up to the sky.
“Well, don’t worry, you will all be given a chance to indulge in this amazing treat.”
A chorus of happiness brings about the life of the classroom.
“Now, now, don’t get too excited. After all, learning about it will make the experience much more enjoyable!”
The class turns silent, their eyes glistening in the light as they stare at Luna, attentive to her every sound.
Luna smiles. Class, hooked. “Now, let us go over something interesting. The history… of coffee.” She stands and turns to the chalkboard, levitating a piece of white chalk onto it. “Now, who knows the inventor of coffee?”
The class is silent.
Luna frowns. Nopony knows? Huh, this calls for a lesson on historical Equestrian coffee. “Well, you’re about to be astonished,” Luna begins, her eyes set forth on the class. “I, of who you see, is the maker of the Equestrian coffee seed.”
The class gasps in unison.
Pipsqueak was the first to speak his mind. “You… the maker of coffee?”
Miss Luna smiles. “Of course, my little pirate,” she states while Pipsqueak giggles. “See, my sister had kept me on the moon for so long, she got me wondering on how I would live. Fortunately, alicorns have a long survival rate. We can go for decades without sustenance if necessary, but we lose our magic after a short while.
“Anyway, after living for a few years without nothing but the company of moon rocks as my entertainment, I began to grow weary and explored the little ball of Moons that I’ve grown to love today. As I did, I found the beans of life: the coffee bean. Of course, it wasn’t named that until I brought it to Equestria, but I didn’t mind. Moons liked the name better than moon beans.”
A sudden gasp interrupted Luna’s lecture. “Yes, Sweetie Belle?”
“So you created the beans?”
“Well,” Luna begins. “No, I did not, but I founded the liquid you and your relatives thrive on for energy.”
A orange hoof raises up. “Yes, Scootaloo?” Miss Cheerilee calls.
“What does a coffee bean look like?”
Luna smiles. My favorite part of the lesson. “Good question, Scootaloo. In fact, let me answer this question by giving you all an activity to try. Miss Cheerilee, may you give the instructions?”
She nods. “Class, may I have your attention?”
“Yes Miss Cheerilee,” they say in unison.
“Good,” Miss Cheerilee acknowledges with a smirk. “I’d like for you to pull out your pencils, papers, and crayons, please.”
The students one by one shuffle to obtain the writing utensils of the day. Those who bought them these wonderful objects whisk their hard earned money for them to learn about coffee. As they quest to find their missing items, Miss Cheerilee stands firm and announces the remaining instructions, “When you have your materials, please, stand and give me the goofiest face you can make.”
In seconds, each student stands up one by one, a goofy face on all.
“Everypony may sit down now.”
The students sit as instructed.
Luna loves activities.
“Pull out two pieces of paper,” Miss Cheerilee instructs. “And make both pieces of paper straight up and down.”
The children do as instructed, their papers all orderly and in portrait form.
Luna hates those who disobey orders.
“Good, now let’s begin with one sheet of paper. On this paper, you must draw what you think the coffee bean looks like,” Cheerilee begins, her mind focused on a specific filly, one who is trying to swat a piece off another’s desk. Cheerilee shakes her head slightly as she addresses the culprit, “Ah, ah, ah, Diamond Tiara, do not swat Scootaloo’s paper off her desk.”
“But Miss Cheerilee,” Diamond Tiara whines. “Scootaloo is calling me names.”
Scootaloo snaps, her wings flaring out fully. “Did not!”
“Did too,” Diamond Tiara plays back.
“Did not.”
“Did too,” she chimes.
“Diamond,” Cheerilee states, calmly. “Leave my class.”
Diamond Tiara’s face slackens, her jaw unhinging properly from her form. “B-but Miss Cheerilee! My father wi-”
“Your father will love to hear that his little filly got caught fooling around in class,” Miss Cheerilee claims, her eyebrow slanting. “You wouldn’t want your father hearing this, would you?”
“N-no…”
“Then let’s not make that thing a reality, shall we?”
Diamond Tiara shakily sighs. “Y-yes, Miss Cheerilee,” she obeys, her voice wavering.
Luna watches, her eyes shifting to and fro as the exchange unfolds. Neither party would want to give in, but thankfully, Miss Cheerilee’s intervention merely stopped the raging fire between the two rivals. The next few hours may bring back the attitudes of the tribals, but let’s not get too hasty here: Miss Luna knows students are tribals. They’re well-oiled machines with brains that wander if you let them.
“Well, now what do you two have to say?” Cheerilee reprimands.
The two guilty fillies look at each other, saddened by the events that played out. “Sorry, Scootaloo,” Diamond Tiara starts.
“Sorry, Diamond Tiara,” Scootaloo brings to the table.
“Good, now let’s begin the activity,” Cheerilee says as she moves away from the two.
Luna, on the other hoof, is not done with those two troublemakers as she focuses her mind solely on them, leaving the other voices out of the equation. Thanks to her coffee, her mind rests beside Diamond Tiara’s left shoulder, her being set forth on a journey. Two seconds from those hoofsteps that echo to her left, Luna hears the words that cannot be heard for the deaf. “Blank Flank,” Diamond Tiara mutters, the sound of hatred loud enough for the filly of orange to hear.
Definitely not quiet enough for Luna to hear.
“Diamond Tiara,” Princess Luna abjects, her mouth abstaining from the amount of vicious and sly words she would have for this filly if she were older. “Leave my class.”
Diamond Tiara frantically stands. “I did not do anything!”
“Yes, you did,” Luna states, her eyes glued to the culprit. “You called Scootaloo a blank flank approximately two point five seconds after Cheerilee moved from her previous position.”
Diamond Tiara stood slack jawed at the accusation, while Scootaloo stands up to support the allegation. “Exactly!” the filly exclaims. “I heard her say it, she says it after Cheerilee leaves whenever we get our way.”
Luna sighs, the even more surprised look on Cheerilee’s face telling her everything she needed to know.
Luna hates consistent troublemakers.
“Alright, Diamond, are you going to leave?” Princess Luna says, her gaze plastered on the filly’s tiara. “Or did you want me to send your father here to argue this situation?”
This is here, when Diamond Tiara snaps, “It’s all those blank flanks faults!”
Unfortunately, pointing the hoof at those who did nothing solves the lesser of problems as Diamond Tiara stomps away angrily, leaving the classroom in a fit of tears and frustration. All the while, the groups stomping of hooves and cheers show their hatred for this dramatic filly, while the only supporter of her stares in silence, their head resting upon their cold, wooden desktop. Meanwhile, Cheerilee returns to her desk as the filly stomped out, seating herself next to the jolly purple giant. “Miss Luna?” Cheerilee questions.
“Yes?”
“Shall we continue with your lecture?”
Luna nods.
Luna loves coffee-induced lectures.
“Yes, I shall,” Luna says as she stands up. “Class, you have one minute to complete your interpretation of a coffee bean. Once you’re finished, you may set your first paper face down on your desks. Is that clear?”
A chorus of yes’s echo back.
“You may begin.”
The loud, booming sounds of pencils and crayons colliding with the surface of their soon-to-be masterpieces fill the air. The sweet smell of hurried pencil markings and crayon shavings: a smell Luna long since forgotten. She enjoys it, sniffing happily at the ever-so-natural behaviors of hard work and painful, agonizing struggle as those who flip their sheets pant heavily, their brains fried from the stress of completing before the time is called. Others continue to pencil and color away as they fill in the details of their wondrous masterpieces. Now, Luna knew those who finished first either were quick and swift with their strokes, or simply sketched their drawings. However, this could be said for those who were still working when time was called, except the exact opposite would occur; they were more precise with their strokes, the longer the better.
Or their drawings looked like the mindless musings of the pain-in-the-flank superior Prince Bluegeldingblood. The stingy, cringy drawings of the one who holds the not-so- popular spot makes Luna internally stop enjoying her life for a moment: the coffee bean was interpreted as an intense meeting between two not-so-recognizable farm animals, with a quote accompanying both. The quote could not even be specified, the lewd conversation making even Miss Cheerilee’s eye twitch in sheer shock. Miss Luna would be too, if it weren’t for her ability to counter said outrageous shock with her lovely, pure coffee.
“Apple Bloom, may I ask you what you drew?” Miss Cheerilee asks.
Luna eyes her co-operating partner, giving her a little twitch of the eye to show that the question should not have been addressed. Now she has dug them both in a large pitfall, unable to get out unless they quickly fix the mistake before she utters the few wor-
“It’s Betsy and Wilbur having a conversation over coffee, Miss Cheerilee!”
The sheer horror gathers inside Luna. The words have been said.
Luna hates cows.
“That’s quite nice, Apple Bloom,” Luna says rather calmly, much to Cheerilee's surprise. “Anyone else want to share their predictions of what a coffee bean is?”
Apple Bloom frowns, she must’ve thought Miss Luna did not like it.
She was right.
Luna coasts around the room, peeking over the shoulders of those who are done, each one getting progressively farther and farther from the actual object. Chariots, postcards, Sapphire Shores’ cassette tapes, and even a random sextant accompanies the drawings of the youth. Luna mentally notes to ask Miss Cheerilee the names of the parents of these fillies and she might even schedule a long discussion with Applejack about her sister’s very detailed cow positioning.
After observing each of the attempts, she brings Cheerilee forward.
Luna loves planning.
“Follow strictly to plan, do not let Apple Bloom share her first drawing with the class,” Luna whispers in Cheerilee’s ear. “Got it?”
Miss Cheerilee nods. “Do we still want them to collaborate?”
“Of course, why do you ask?” she gently whispers.
Miss Cheerilee sighs. “Silver Spoon, may I ask you to sit a chair over?”
Silver Spoon eyes the chair. “Isn’t Diamond Tiara coming back?”
She turns to Luna, giving her a blank stare. “I-”
“Silver, she is not coming back today,” Luna says rather bluntly. “So it’s okay if you take her seat.”
Silver looks at Miss Cheerilee. “Am… am I allowed to?”
A polite nod is all she receives.
Silver Spoon sits up and scoots out of her desk. She proceeds to her new desk for the time being, her seat directly next to Twist, who stares at her inquisitively.
“Now, let’s begin our lesson on the real Equestrian coffee bean. For starters, they’re small, brown, magical beans that give way when you boil them. They usually grow on a large blue plant that soars out of the ground.”
She pauses for added effect, the group intensely watching her every movement.
Luna loves to make her students squirm.
“When you harvest them, they turn into the brown liquid that you all love. It’s a pretty simple thing to do and I know a lot of you are just itching to try some.”
One colt in the sea of students nods rapidly, squirming in his seat.
“Well, we have to finish our activity first!” The colt groans as he hears he still has to wait. Luna almost giggles, but remembers the task at hoof. “Alright, take out the second sheet and see if you can draw the coffee bean we all know and love! You have one minute to complete this task! Ready?”
The students prepare for the second round of drawings.
“Go!” Luna bellows, starting the classic barrage of pencils and crayons colliding with the poor, white, harmless papers that can only dream to never be colored or marked on again. The shavings start to fly, hitting a student in the back of the head like a neverending rain of color from behind. She groans and rubs her head to block the remaining scattered showers, hoping for a rainbow at the end of this experience. All the while, the students continue to work, creating their masterpieces once again.
Luna hopes the description did its justice, she does not want to see another explicit drawing of cows having a ‘conversation’.
Miss Cheerilee walks over, eyeballing the classroom. “You’re hoping for something better this time?”
Luna giggles. “Yes.”
She nudges the alicorn and moves to her desk, taking her appropriate seat next to the even larger rolling chair. “I’ll be over here.”
Luna smirks at her before turning to the class.
Luna loves perfect timing.
The clock strikes.
“Times up!” Luna announces.
The room becomes silent: pencils and crayons stop their barrage, falling onto the wooden desks.
Luna loves obedient students.
She begins to weave through the rows, walking up and down them to observe each and every students’ piece.
She got what she wanted.
Out of the whole lot, every student except two had drawn a coffee bean correctly.
“Ms. Luna is pleased with you all,” she begins, returning to the front of the room, deadpanning. “I know that you all should know what a coffee bean looks like, so I shall indulge you with the drink I have drunk since Moons gave me it.”
The class roars in good cheer. Luna smiles from ear to ear. They understand her!
Luna sighs happily, her cheerful expression showing no bounds. She circles a particular section of the room, before stopping dead center in front of her desk, the coffee machine she had conjured from a sizable crater from her Moons. She flips the switch and with a simple injection of her being through spell-casting. The archaic machine comes to life as the engine whirrs with delayed excitement. The blue and white starry cubby flips out, presenting the area for which the beans must be.
She looks to her left to see a bag full of the wondrous brown beans ready to be brewed into the delicious energizer drink of Equestria. She lifts it, gently opens the bag, and tips it into the small container. The result?
Luna hates pouring beans into small holes.
The beans land in the opening for only a few seconds before bouncing out, the culprits not wanting to be brewed by the royal crown. The beans have begged to not be part of this experiment, for they do not want to be brewed right away. According to Celestia, Luna drinks approximately seven cups a day.
Luna could prove this theory is wrong.
She only has six and three-fourths cups of coffee a day.
She leaves a fourth for the maids.
After all, they do need energy too. They are the ones who drive the addiction and give Luna the necessary energy to continue functioning in society in a normal fashion without divulging into madness with a pinch of happiness and sugar.
As sanity continues, she must complete her task.
Luna casts a spell, picking up all the coffee beans that denied her simple request. They will be the prime witnesses of her wrath. She deviously grins, her eyes glow a light white, and the chalkboard suddenly begins to write itself as she begins to lower the beans into the cubby hole with the utmost precision. Luna laughs heartily as the seeds enter the hole and lay perfectly in the positions she desires. With the power overwhelming her, she turns and spots her students, who were unfortunately whimpering at the sight of her. She gasps and quickly blocks out the energy, silencing the white light and the chalk that blazes its words on the board. She returns to a calm state of mind as she drinks a helping of coffee from her cup.
“I’m sorry, class,” she begins, her gaze upon the whole unit. “I am just a bit antsy when I don’t drink a cup of coffee.”
The class’s mouths drop to the floor, their eyes wide, while Miss Cheerilee walks over and rests her right fore hoof on Miss Luna’s shoulder. “Luna, that wasn’t appropriate.”
“Pardon?” she replies, apparently mishearing Cheerilee’s claim.
Cheerilee sighs. “This isn’t a joke, that was not appropriate, especially the display you put on for those foals. They could be scarred!”
Miss Luna frowns as she looks at the crowd of whimpering and scared foals, their eyes shimmering in the light. She sighs. “I’ll take care of this.”
Cheerilee nods and says, “I hope so,” before stealing off to her chair, watching her students from the corner of the room.
Luna gulps and addresses her class. “I am sorry,” she begins with a calm, gentle voice. “The act you witnessed was not appropriate behavior, if I must leave then I will for the sake of the class.”
The shock Luna must have when she is proven wrong; the students stand up and wave their hooves frantically while others dash to block the exit. “Don’t leave, Luna!” Scootaloo shouts, her wings accelerating their flapping.
Sweetie Belle joins in, shouting, “We weren’t afraid of you!”
Luna stands frozen, puzzled by the students’ joined desire of her stay at the school. Then what was it?
Apparently Luna said her question aloud as Apple Bloom happily replies, “You doin’ all that dark magicky stuff made us all confused and frightened!”
Silver Spoon nods in agreement. “I was even afraid.”
Scootaloo gasps. “You, Silver Spoon, afraid?!”
She glares in response. “Just because we’re not the nicest to you doesn’t mean we are not able to ‘feel’, Scootaloo.”
Luna watches the scene unfold: an appalled Scootaloo stares at a smirking Silver Spoon, while her two friends watch on with blank, yet wide-eyed stares. The argument is about to begin, and Luna must not stand and be a bystander. She must act on the triggers presented and become trigger happy.
“Girls, lets stop the bickering,” Cheerilee says as Luna was about to speak.
“It’s okay, Cheerilee,” Luna says, shocking the aforementioned teacher. “We mustn’t get too ‘in their faces’ about the matter.” She turns to the party. “Let’s return to our seats, class. I have some coffee to brew.”
The happy chorus of hoorays and pitter-patter of hooves fill the room, and a nice, fulfilling smirk lands on Luna’s face. She must be proud.
Luna loves to brew her own cups of coffee.
She takes it to the next level by taking control of the machine with ease, beginning the brewing process. The cubby hole shut, the coffee brewing and spilling out of the machine, the liquid landing in the cup, and the steam coming off the cup. Oh joy, she is giddy already, her hooves shaking once each individual drop hits the insides of the cup. One by one she fills them all, getting just enough for all students to have a generous helping. Flicking her hoof she sends a cup to each student, piping and all. Of course, she made one for herself, a fresh cup replacing the old. However, she forgot to mention one, little, teeny tiny detail.
“Students don’t si-”
The blood-curdling screams of several burning tongues block out any remaining effort to stop them from preventing the matter. Luna groans; it was too late.
Luna hated forgetting to mention that all cups of coffee are hot…
…sizzling hot.
