Prologue
I remember it like it was yesterday.... all the pain, the hate, and blood. Its was a normal afternoon, just like to day but it was a bad day to be poor, you would be thrown into an area and never able to leave. But escaping was the only way to live. Living was what these ponies needed, needed to feel accepted but because of the "New Rule" that was going to be hard.
Lets start with that fateful day where it all started, My name is Braden, and this is the story of how it happened. I was walking along with my friend David. David was my best friend and we hit it off like there was no tomorrow, we were friends till the end. While we were walking we noticed that a lot of the ponies in town were all circled around two other ponies that were fighting and like the curious ponies we were we decided to go and join to what it was all the fuss was about. Upon joining the crowd i noticed that one of the ponies fighting was a Canterlot soldier and a normal town pony!
"Lets go right here right now!" Yelled the town pony.
The crowd quickly got worried for the town pony, thinking the soldier might hurt him bad, right after he said that the soldier went for a hit but the town pony dogged and struck with a counter punch to the stomach.
"Not so tough now are you!" the town pony said.
Right then and there the soldier punched the town pony in face knocking him out. His body lay there it looked dead but he was still breathing, when the soldier told everyone to leave the scene most ponies left but some stood around the town pony's body trying to revive him.
"What was that all about?" I mumbled to myself.
Another pony heard what I said and replied with
"The town pony and the soldier were fighting because the soldier was trying to enter the pony's home to see what he had inside to see if he was "Low class" or not."
" Why would that even matter!"
"Have you not heard? Princess Celestia's New Rule says that if you are not "High class" then you will be moved to a separate place then the High class people."
Just the sound of that sounded sickening to me, just the idea that if you are not what the people want you to be then you are thrown into a prison because you are different.
" This isn't right how come ponies get to decide if your not what they want you to be!" I Yelled.
" Well its going to be hard on a lot of us." the pony said while he walked off into the distance.
After that me and David walked off back to my place and on the way there we said nothing to each other, all we could think about is if we would have to leave Ponyville or not. while walking more soldiers were coming in raiding houses and families were being told to follow them to an area nopony knew where it was, most were terrified that they would never see their friends and family ever again. David and I continued to walk but a little bit faster we didn't want to talk to the soldiers or even see what was going on. When we made it to my House we sat on the couch and just sat there with nothing to say.
"What are we going to do!" shouted David.
"I don't know, I guess we might have to leave Ponyville" I whispered.
"But we cant just leave can we?"
"David I just think that there is no way to stop this, we need to accept this"
I thought about what I said but before I could I heard a knock at the door. I got up and opened the door and in front of the door was a soldier staring me down, I felt like I was powerless and i couldn't get any words out my mouth. Then the soldier took a glance inside my house and asked if he could come in.
"So what brings you here Sir?" I said.
"Just checking your house to see if your good to go." He replied
He checked everything and looked very closely making sure he wouldn't miss anything.
"Wait!" He exclaimed
"Who is that?"
He pointed to David, David looked like he was about to die from shock!
"That is David, my friend." i replied
The soldier quickly looked through a chart he had with him when he came to the door. The soldier looked up at me, then David, then back at his chart and continued to look through the pages. While he was i heard David walking across the living room, David was creeping up the stairs of my house looking like he was heading for the window. But right when he was the floor creaked and the soldier looked up and noticed him trying to escape!
"YOU STAY RIGHT THERE!"
The soldier darted passed me and went strait for David and tackled him to the ground!
"Let go of me!" David shouted.
"I'm sorry but your friend doesn't calcify as a high class resident of this town, he's going to have to come with me."
David looked me right in the eyes with a look i will never forget, he wanted to be free, but the soldier had him in his grasp.
But right then David head butted him, surprising the soldier and making him dizzy enough for David to push the soldier off of him self and make a run for it! The soldier recovered quickly and chased after him. Once David was at the top of the stairs he jumped out of the window, but the soldier followed and jumped out to catch him. I quickly ran outside to see what happened. I saw David all scraped up and the soldier putting hoof cuffs on him. I ran up to them but another soldier came up to me and started to push me away from them. David was struggling to get away but he could. The soldier got up and picked him up off the ground and started to escort him to the others that had to leave the town. But the David jerked around and Started to yell words that stay will stay with me forever.
"BRADEN , PLEASE HELP ME, SAVE ME FROM THIS AND FIGHT YOUR WAY UNTIL YOU CAN!!"
All I could do was just watch as my foalhood friend, the stallion I've known for as long as I can remember, being dragged away to somewhere I will never be able to go and ill never be able to see him again.

This is my first time writing a story so any positive or negative criticism is accepted 
It Was a couple days later since what had happened and everyone was still trying to get over the fact that all of their loved ones were gone and they would never see them again. I for one, was locked away in my house for a least two days until I decided to get up and get more food for the next couple of days. On my way to the market I saw a big group of ponies gathered around in long coats and hats and I could barley see their faces, then one of them sprinted out of the group into the middle of the market and started to announce something that sparked my interest.
"Okay! Listen up everypony if you are up to the task to join the rebellion we need you to stand right here next to me!" he yelled.
Everyone froze, they didn't know whether to go up or not, but I for one wanted to hear more.
"Come on, don't be shy, you'll help all of those who got taken away."
Now that sounded like the perfect thing I could do! I can help David out of that prison and we could be back together, "but what exactly what would I be doing to help?", was the question i never thought about I just went up there and said I would help with what ever they needed.
"that's wonderful!" he said. "Now would anyone else like to come and help us also?".
A hand full of other ponies came up and they said they were in also. The pony then lead us to a nearby house that a couple of others ponies were standing near and talking in groups.
"Okay everypony, it is time." he said.
The pony then lead us into the house along with the others that were outside. Once we were all in the house he walked over to a mat on the floor and proceeded to move it across the floor which revealed a metal hatch that he opened and gestured everypony to go down into but he made sure everyone stayed quiet as they went down, as if he knew he was doing something he shouldn't be doing, almost like a drug exchange. Once I got down there it looked like a fairly nice looking place, it was clean, big, and it had a couple of posters that had steps to a plan and one of the was a map of a place I had never even seen or heard of before.
"Okay now everypony its time to talk about something that we all have in common, and I'm guessing that all of you should know what i'm talking about but let me tell you just in case you walked into the wrong party." he said as he walked around the room.
The pony walked to the front of the room which had a table with another map and started to talk about how we were all going to help out in getting to the prison.
"That's it!" I thought to my self, That's the map of and to the prison but what he had in plan was a bit crazy to me but i just wanted to see David again.
"Alright!" he said. "I need volunteers to break into the camp and help get the ponies out and safe, so who is willing to take the job?"
I raised my hoof in a heart beat and them a couple others did also, and among them was a pony who worked with at one of the jobs I had one one time but I didn't stay for too long. His name was Wilson, he and I weren't too close but we did spend a lot of time together when we worked together.
"That's great, lots of volunteers we can use to help us get just that much closer to seeing our great friends again!" He said with a happy tone in his voice. "Now its important we can trust you guys because you will mostly be doing the work including the breaching the camp, sneaking in, and making sure we are all safe to move out. Oh and if your all wondering if ponies will be hurt? Not only will they be hurt they may also DIE. I just want you all to know before you all think you cant do it but cant bring them selves to do it. Remember these ponies took away something we all love or hold dearest to our hearts, so now, it's our time to rebel and take back whats ours. "Now Our First order of business is-."
Before he could finish three Canterlot soldiers came crashing in and interrupting the entire operation!
"THIS OPERATION HAS BEEN COMPROMISED, EVERYONE LEAVE NOW OR ELSE YOU WILL BE UNDER ARREST!" A Canterlot soldier had yelled while still pushing his way to the stallion in charge.
The stallion quickly turned around and bucked the table in front of him causing it get launched forward towards the soldier coming at him. The soldier was hit but the other soldiers came rushing at him, and at this point lots of ponies were in a rush to get out but me? I was still watching but then the stallion called to me and in that moment I changed into something I thought i would never turn into. He said, "GET THAT KNIFE AND HELP ME!" He pointed to a large knife sitting at my hooves, everything froze for me and I was in control of what would happen next, should I leave or should I help? I quickly grabbed the knife and ran up to the soldier and stabbed him in the chest 6 times.
It was after that I could feel the adrenaline rushing through me.
"thanks you sir, if you didn't stay I wouldn't be able to help or even alive." the stallion said as he put an arm around me. But I couldn't your welcome, I was still in shock after I killed the soldier.
"Hey, are you ok?" the stallion questioned as he looked me in the face, " I just need to sit do....." I replied, but I then blacked out.
hours later I woke up in a room with a blanket around me, I looked around and saw a door in front of me. I got up from the bed and went towards the door but when I went to turn the knob, it was locked! "Are fucking serious!" I whispered to my self, but then the was unlocked and a pony opened the door and jumped when she saw me at the door.
"I'm sorry." she said, "They told me to lock the door just in case you freaked out or something, ya'know?" she was a bit shorter than me but if I was to admit, she was pretty cute. She had a nice red coat and a dark red mane.
"What's your name miss?" I asked, "M-my is Rose sir, I was told to stay here until you woke up." she sounded nervous but she looked calm. "But enough about me I need you to come with me, the boys need you in the planning room." she turned to start walking down the hall and turned to see if I was following, I snapped back to reality and started to walk beside her.
"So ummmm..... I was wondering, where am I exactly?" I asked rose. She kept walking and looked ahead and only said one sentance. "That's classified information sir, but you can ask the boss.", "The boss?", "yup, the one started this all."
We continued to walk down the hall until we came to a door, Rose knocked in a strange pattern and then somepony opened it and let us in. As we walked in all sorts of things were going on, ponies running around, talking at a big table, and some at small tables working on metal and wood.
"Here we are, just go talk to the boss and he will direct you where to go, okay?" I nodded and started towards the big table, all I could think was "What the hell am I doing here?
