More specifically, a rainstorm. The perfect atmosphere for nightmare night with the lightning piercing the sky the pegasi and organised while giving the settlers below an unexpected fright. The angered wind, screaming into the ears of those that enter its unknown path. And of course the clouds, firing its little daggers into the innocent that prey for peace with the weather. Yes, the perfect atmosphere for nightmare night. "Happy Hearts Warming Day!", a group of 6 multi-coloured equines cheered with a raised glass of cider, followed swiftly by a ping from the glasses colliding with each other before proceeding to fall onto the soft carpet followed by Rainbow Dash. The large smiles on everyponies face disintegrated as there emotion was shown in there rolling eyes, well except for Pinkie Pie who just laughed at the ordeal. Rarity groaned before talking, "Rainbow, have you ever wondered why Pinkie Pie takes so much cider from you? Its because you can't handle it." An annoyed Rainbow Dash, shook to her hooves before offering everypony a displeased face. "Drunk? I'm not dr--", her awesome comeback was interrupted by her ditzy, lame front hooves. "Okay, I'm a tad drunk." The ponies simply giggled away what had just happened, and preceded to clean up what had happened. Applejack and Pinkie Pie, heaved the wobbly hooved Rainbow onto her blue throne nearby the accident, as Fluttershy made her way to the kitchen to get a soothing cup of tea to assist Rainbow getting sober, while Rarity and Twilight used there magic to clean up the broken glass shards and cider that had flooded the golden round table in the centre of the room, they had jus been celebrating on. As Fluttershy, trotted along at her own steady pace, she began to admire the décor. Twilight has had this castle for so long, and she never took anytime into admiring the architecture, neither had any other ponies. They where too busy focusing on shifting books and boxes full of housing goods to even think about the scenery around them. Fluttershy just stopped, mid-way down the corridor and just admired. The carpet, was soft and comforting, it felt like your hooves where being hugged by little foals for every step you took, of course this thought frightened Fluttershy so she stepped onto the smooth, cold marble that laid beneath and around the long carpet. She looked around. The purple crystals that made up the entire exterior of the castle as well as the walls was extraordinary, it made it feel like this place was indestructible and that one gram of these crystals would make anypony a millionaire, they looked that rich. Sure it probably is the many thousands of pillars that keep this place standing, but she'd have to ask an architect. Fluttershy cleared her throat and openly announced to herself and the castle, "The castle is too dark" The timid pony continued onwards. Fluttershy returned to the throne room, everypony and everything was finally organised and perfect, well except for Rainbow who was still a bit tipsy. Twilight lit her horn and the cup of tea which was balanced on Fluttershy's open wing and dragged into across the air to Rainbow. "Thank You" Rainbow responded, Fluttershy simply smiled and went to her throne. Pinkie Pie opened her mouth, but Rainbow Dash beat her to speaking. "Sorry, about earlier. I keep forgetting that with vodka and cider mixed you have to drink it steadily, not 'down the hatch'. Especially with a three-pint glass." Pinkie Pie opened her mouth, but Rarity beat her to speaking. "It's okay and I'm sorry about the comment I said in response to your earlier boo-boo. Taking that much vodka and cider in one go is pretty impressive." Pinkie Pie opened her mouth, but everypony, even Pinkie Pie, beat her to speaking, "Yeah!" they announced simultaneously. Pinkie Pie opened her mouth and finally got her chance to talk, solo. "So, what do you lot wanna do? We've done everything we always do on Heart's Warming Day and its only 8p.m." The six ponies smiles fell, they never get through Heart's Warming Day this quickly, but no matter how much they thought, Pinkie was correct they had done everything. From opening there presents to celery eating contests. Twilight, rubbed her head in thought putting as much effort as she could. So much so, she at points got random sparks of magic that caused her horn to spark into a flashing light, until... "I got!", Rarity announced. Twilight sighed to herself. "Why don't we see if any of Twilight's books have any fun ideas in them!" Everypony nodded and smiled. Rarity grinned with delight, her ideas are rarely agreed to... maybe because she rarely gives ideas, she found thinking to much effort. With that, she galloped swiftly towards the library while telling the décor off for being to dark.
