Cider season has come around, and Applejack has learned her lesson from last year that she can make cider faster with the help of all her friends. But that was last year, and with Flim and Flam. Applejack and the Flim and Flam brothers made barrels and barrels of cider last year, but how much will she need this year? What if she needs more? Her friends help her with her troubles and it all sorts out.

Applejack sighed. She had been working on the farm all day and she was exhausted. All of a sudden, a pink light flashed in front of her, and Twilight appeared. "Hi, Applejack! Sorry to interrupt, if you were doing something....." "No, I'm fine," Applejack said. "I'm just tired from all the bucking and kicking, and cider season is coming up. I don't know how I can manage it." "Sure you can. Remember last year?" "Yeah." "We can work together again! Remember?" "Yeah, but that was when Flim and Flam were here. We had some tough competition. It could be easier or harder this year and I'm just under a lot of stress," Applejack said. "So what d'ya need?" "Well, Pinkie is having a party to welcome a new family, and I just wanted to see if those apple brownies are ready?" Twilight said.
