Shooting Star wore thick glasses, and was kind of a shut in. He would go shopping at the market, and always borrowed books from the Golden Oaks library, but mostly he just stayed at home.
When he wasn’t reading, Shooting Star would use his telescope. But he did not use it to watch the sky. Instead, Shooting Star would spy in on the pony who lived down the street. Her name was Fluffle Puff. She was an Earth pony, as far as Shooting Star could tell, who was covered all over in a ball of long, pink fluffy fur. Shooting Star would watch as Fluffle Puff would speak by only sticking out her tongue and making a PFFT noise. Shooting Star watched as Fluffle Puff walked, crawled, rolled, and jumped around her house with a carefree smile on her face.
The reformed Chrysalis had recently moved in with Fluffle Puff. Shooting Star could not help but notice their relationship. Chrysalis and Fluffle Puff played games, pranked each other, and constantly hid inside a pillow fort known as the fun cave. Chrysalis even slept on top of Fluffle Puff, breathing in her love. Shooting Star watched all of this in secret, and it drove him mad.
Fluffle Puff was all that Shooting Star could think about. He wanted her. He needed her. Shooting Star would lick his lips just thinking about plunging his face into the pink fluff ball. Shooting Star knew that he couldn’t use a transportation spell, as that would cause too much light and sound. Instead he used his magic to unlock and silently open the window. Shooting Star then used a levitation spell to enter through the open window. That’s when he spotted them. Fluffle Puff and Chrysalis sleeping together.
Shooting Star then started the second part of his plan. Getting rid of Chrysalis. Using his levitation spell, Shooting Star moved Chrysalis off of Fluffle Puff. He gently moved her into another room, then encased her in a soundproof shield. Fluffle Puff was now all his for the taking. Shooting Star was going to make sure that this would be a long night.
Shooting Star’s heart was now beating so loudly that it was deafening. A cold sweat ran down his face. Shooting Star could not resist the urge anymore. He jumped into the air and landed on top of Fluffle Puff. Shooting Star stuck his face into her fur and inhaled deeply. It was just as soft and sweet as he dreamed it would be. Fluffle Puff was awakened by the sudden impact of Shooting Star landing on her. She gasped and stood up. Shooting Star forced Fluffle Puff back down to the floor, and sealed her mouth shut with his magic.

Chrysalis found Fluffle Puff in their bedroom. Chrysalis was shocked at what she saw. Fluffle Puff looked horribly beaten. Chrysalis ran to her side and tried to wake her up, but Fluffle Puff would not respond. Chrysalis rushed Fluffle Puff to the hospital. The doctors tried all that they could, but the trauma that Fluffle Puff had suffered had put her into a coma.
No pony knows what became of Shooting Star. He was last seen in the Crystal Empire, heading towards the Frozen North. As for Fluffle Puff, she still remains in a deep catatonic coma. Chrysalis still stays by her side, crying every day.
