We all know the story of how Celestia banished Nightmare Moon (Luna) for 1000 years but what if the roles were reversed? (Minus the banishment to the moon thing)
Celestia looked down at the ground and observed the mare before her, Nightmare Moon was standing before her with an evil smirk spreading across her face with no mercy in her eyes. As Celestia desperately tired to stand up Nightmare Moon pressed her hoof on Tia's neck and the shear pain and agony shooted up Tia's body like a thousand needles in her body, making the pain even worse. Nightmare Moon looked down at the white alicorn princess and shook her head in disappointment "I figured you would put up more of a fight Tia but I guess the princess of the sun has her limits." Celestia was going to respond but Nightmare stepped on her wing twisting it in a sicking and contorted way, Celestia screamed in pain that put a smile on Nightmare Moon's face because seeing her sister on the ground gasping for air made her feel at the top of the food chain.
Nightmare Moon rose into the night sky horn glowing brightly was ready to bring eternal night to Ponyville. Celestia watched as her sister Luna brought an eternal night into Ponyville, looking in horror she said "No I'm not going to let this happen!" With one wing Celestia mustered up the strength to fly straight but barely able to stay in flight but barely able to stay in flight. Nightmare Moon looked at Celestia with irritation in her eyes "You just never know when to give up Tia?" Celestia used her magic but it wasn't enough to stop her, it only made things worse as Nightmare Moon blasted Celestia enough to cause a total eternal night.
The citizens of Ponyville looked up in the sky to see a dark moon in the sky, the most concerned was Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and their friends. Dash spoke up and said "What the hay is that? Is this an omen or something?" Twilight wasn't sure if Nightmare Moon was bringing an eternal night but wasn't trying to murder anypony, once Pinkie looked at the sky she stopped bouncing and said "That looks like a giant Oreo!" Her eyes lit up like a Christmas Tree while her friends stared in horror as a total eclipse illuminated over Ponyville. Fluttershy wanted to look away but she couldn't actually nopony could resist the awe inspiring power of Nightmare Moon as a total eclipse created a shadow all around the citizens of Ponyville Twilight sprouted bat wings and crimson eyes with long fangs, her friends sprouted the same things Twilight gasped in horror "What's happening to us?" The next pony to speak up was Fluttershy who said "I don't know Twilight but whatever it is, it's not good." The words Fluttershy said were accurate then Applejack pointed to the sky to reveal Nightmare Moon with Celestia covered in her own blood, terrified the Mane 6 saw that and each of them exchanged horrified looks on their faces.
Nightmare Moon put Tia on the ground and said "Citizens of Ponyville this is the voice of your new princess Nightmare Moon!" she laughed evilly and her laugh was loud enough for all to hear, even Pinkie's mane went flat but Twilight stepped up to her, with her hooves shaking she managed to say "Nightmare Moon my master." When Celestia heard those words the tears came flowing down her face as if she was heartbroken by her own student. Twilight and her friends bowed down in respect for their new master Nightmare Moon, Celestia looked down then looked up at the demon that used to be my sister and then said "Why? Why are you doing this?" Nightmare Moon looked at her with a smirk on her face then said "This all for your betrayal of me, for not taking care of me but don't worry you'll be gone soon."
Celestia didn't like that at all, her own sister was going to murder her or at least burn at the stake. The ponies of Ponyville decided to burn Celestia at the stake for reasons being a self centered princess with a sister that wanted to be loved as all but now it was her turn to rule Equestria. Rarity propped up the stake and said to Nightmare Moon "Princess Nightmare Moon, the stake is ready for your dreadful and self centered dirtbag known as your sister." Nightmare let out a small chuckle then looked at Celestia with hatred in her eyes but Celestia showed her the determination and that "never give up" attitude, although she knew that her own citizens were going to dispose of her immediately.
"Twilight take Celestia to her cell until we're ready for her?" Think you can handle that?" said Applejack and Twilight did as she was told, dragged Celestia to her cell then slammed her hard on the concrete wall causing her spine to almost crack beneath her. Twilight let out a evil smirk on her face and Tia looked at her in horror as if to say "What have you done?" Celestia was watching her own loyal subjects turn against her she thought this was a nightmare but she was awake. Twilight says this to her former teacher "I can't believe that you tried to banish your own sister! She did nothing to you and you just decided to banish her to the moon?!? You should be ashamed of yourself! I can't wait until you burn! It would be glorious and a new night in Ponyville so I say buh bye Celestia." Celestia cried that night alone with her thoughts Twilight I can't believe you...you were always my faithful student...well I guess now I have to face reality soon enough, I've been blamed for alot of things and I guess this is my way of saying I'm sorry to everypony in Ponyville...goodbye Twilight Sparkle. Tears flowed out of Celestia's eyes as she cried that night...the reality would set in for her very, very soon.
Chapter 2 Goodbye Celestia
Twilight opened the door to Tia's cell using her magic, Celestia was battered and bruised from all the beatings her former students did to her it didn't matter though she was going to die anyway. Even her faithful student Twilight who has been through everything with Celestia now was under Luna's control as was everypony else, they were all against her now. Nightmare Moon walked over to Twilight and said "We are ready for her, you can bring out our accuser Celestia to be burned at the stake." Twilight used her magic to pull Tia towards her and Celestia had empty eyes that told a story like no other but this time it was going to be Nightmare Moon ruling all of Equestria and Tia was going to burn.
Everypony was standing saying in unison "Burn Celestia!" Over and over they said it, the looks Tia got from the ponies that would call her princess was now hated by all and watching from the rooftops a little filly with curly purple hair "No...not Celestia, I've have to stop them!" Sweetie Belle jumped from the rooftop and landed in front of Twilight and her friends "Stop this! This isn't right!" said Sweetie in protest. Twilight responded harshly "Get out of my way you little pest!" Sweetie stood her ground but her own sister Rarity levitated Belle to the other side while Rainbow Dash and Applejack held her back while they burned Princess Celestia burning at the stake. "NO!" cried out Sweetie but her screams were drowned out by everypony's cheering. Sweetie Belle tried to escape but Applejack kept a strong grip on her making her watch Celestia become nothing more than ashes and bones in front of Sweetie.
Rarity and Applejack released Sweetie Belle who ran up to what was left of Celestia considering that the ashes were all that was left of the princess of the sun. "You monster! Your just a stupid moron that is jealous of your now dead sister!" said Sweetie Belle angry and crying at the same time. Nightmare Moon slapped her in the face then said "Know your place little one. If you could understand..." She let out a loud laugh which made Sweetie's ears hurt, the shriek caused her to fall on to the ground in pain. This was the chance to get Dash and Pinkie to take Sweetie Belle away from Equestria's new ruler Nightmare Moon, Belle did not want to leave but was forced into the dungeon below Ponyville.
Rainbow Dash threw her into her cell by herself with no escape in sight. "Your not getting out of here alive so Sweetie so be a good little filly and stay out of our business." said Dash and Sweetie had revenge on her mind but how was she going to do that? She was in a cage with no chance of escaping, then she heard Tia's voice in her head "Sweetie you there?"Sweetie thought she was losing her mind but it was Princess Celestia, "Princess? What are you doing in my head?" The spirit of Celestia appeared in front of her like a ghost returning back to life.
"Sweetie I want you to take revenge for my murder, I want you to kill Nightmare Moon." said Celestia proudly and a sinister smirk spread across Sweetie Belle's face as she let Tia enter her body, she felt a power she never felt before it could be only be done by the one and only Princess Celestia. Sweetie's eyes turned into a very bright green as if she was possessed by a spirit and she was but this one wanted revenge.
This is for you Celestia, I'll kill anyone that gets in my way! thought Sweetie who gave an ominous but terrifying laugh.
If Nightmare Moon wasn't scared of her now she was going to be very soon.
