Chapter/Episode 1: I am Darksun Hear me Roar! Part 1
“Changelings, a race of magical creatures that can blend into different societies with ease, they are also known for their appetite for emotions, but no emotion is as great for a changeling than love. They change forms to whatever their prey considers the most pleasing and before they know it they are left drained and weakened, while some are even considered dead. I am one of these creatures and each day I work on my magical studies in order to help improve our kingdom.” The voice came from a strange looking pony that was talking to his own self while reading a book. He was about five feet tall with a black coat, his eyes were a light blue with with green pupils, he had some holes where his hooves and tail were like most of his race, his mane resembles fire and is a nice teal that goes down to his neck with a sharp furry tail that matches the color of his mane. His room was rather large and filled with different books. The only light that helped the changeling read came from the ceiling and had a nice gothic theme going for it, but his reading was interrupted by a knock on his wooden door and a gruff voice spoke from behind it.
“Darksun, get out of your room I need to speak to you!”
“I’m in the middle of reading of an important chapter on how to manipulate elemental energies.”
“Now please it’s important!”
“Fine, I will be out there.” The changeling known as Darksun got up as his teal tattered insectoid wings stretched out. He walked over to his door the sound of hooves clopping on wood echoed throughout his room. His gnarled twisted unicorn horn was glowing with a green hue and soon the door itself did and then he opened it revealing three changeling soldiers standing there, they were slightly shorter than him, and didn’t have the same mane and tail as him as theirs were much shorter and shared the same gray coloration as them.
“Darksun you have been cooped up in your room for the past three days just reading your books. You need some sort of food, so the others and I were thinking of going on a little all-nighter in Manehatten. Do you want to join in?” He questioned the crossed changeling.
“Gee guys as much as that sounds fun I-I.” He paused for a moment looking around his room and out of his window in the ceiling. “I think that a rather special comet might be passing by tonight and I need to study it. You wouldn’t want the enemies knowing of this possible find would you?” Dark chuckled nervously before closing the door on the three. He then heard the same voice from behind the door.
“Fine then, be that way. You seem to care more about your dang studies than food and your health!” He shouted before leaving him. Darksun let out a sigh of relief before looking up at the night sky through his window.
‘Sorry Butch, but I just can’t do that, not anymore at least.’ He continued to stare at the sky looking right at the moon. “The night sky, it is truly a beautiful thing.” Another knock was heard at the door.
“Who is it?”
“I have a message for you from the queen herself.”
“Queen Chrysalis?”
“No Celestia. Of course it’s from Chrysalis and do be so kind as to not refer to her by her name!”
Darksun opened the door and took the message. “Yea I know sorry thanks for the delivery.” He said while slamming the door in the messengers face while reading the letter.
Dearest Darksun I send this letter to alert you to meet me in the throne room as soon as possible. I need to speak to you about an important mission.

Ps: You missed your last feeding so please do let me feed you at least. I cannot have my subjects go hungry especially not you.
“My queen.” Dark smiled and put a grey book in a saddlebag and took it with him to the throne room. He looked around the castle still rather impressed with how the place looks. The scenery was pretty grand despite the slightly destroyed shape of the castle the place was also quite old with some stones knocked over and some bridges were outright wrecked. Eventually he arrived at the main throne room. Two large doors were between him and his queen. He took in a deep breath and opened them to see the queen lying down on her extravagant couch. She too had a teal colored mane, but hers was much longer than his with her tail matching her mane in color as well, once she stood up off her couch anyone could see that she was much taller than Darksun, she also was the only one out their race besides Darksun to have pupils, she even has similar colored eyes to his, and their shared the same horn type, lastly she had holes as well in her legs mane and tail. A smile spread across her snout with sharp fangs being shown and when she spoke she had a rather interesting voice that sounded like a distorted echo.
“Well Darksun my pupil I see you as quick as ever when it comes to following my orders.”
“Of course my queen, you are both my leader and my teacher I could never imagine disobeying you.” Darksun said bowing to her. She ran a hoof across his face looking at him in his eyes.
“I heard you skipped out on another feeding session with the other changelings.”
“Yes my queen, I just cannot go with them.”
“You have not been the same ever since that day, but to keep you full and living my pupil these special feedings are worth it. You really have come a long way Darksun.” Chrysalis said as she opened her mouth her sharp fangs in front of his face while a hissing sound rang throughout the room. Darksun followed suit opening his mouth as well. Smaller sharp fangs were also seen within his maw as a green mist started to flow from Chrysalis’ mouth to his own. His eyes widened as the energy flowed within him. He moved closer to her closing his eyes while his tattered wings fluttered, his horn was glowing the same green color from before and shortly after she closed her mouth and then he did as well.
“Thank you my queen.”
“It is my pleasure to help you out, but when it is just us together please refer to me as your teacher.”
“Y-Yes my teacher, so what did you want to tell me?”
“As you read I have an important mission that needs to be taken care of, and I can think of no other changeling good enough to deal with this than you.” Darksun only smiled waiting for Chrysalis’ response.“Now in the past we have had issues with a certain group of six ponies who have gotten in my way of domination twice now, and to make matters worse I heard their leader has her own castle. I want you to sneak around in their town and take care of them once and for all.” As she finished the twin doors were pushed aside and running in was Butch from before.
“My queen don’t let this bookworm go on a delicate mission like this I beg you! He will just screw it up due to having no experience in espionage. I mean he never even comes with us on raids or nights out anymore.”
Darksun glared at him and moved closer. “Listen here, I have been doing espionage missions for a while now, and because of them I have gotten a lot of information on different kingdoms. Just because you don’t see me on them, doesn’t mean I am terrible at them. Or do you want to see what this bookworm can do?” He questioned getting into Butch’s face.
“Oh look who has a backbone what can you do to me tough guy?”
Darksun’s horn began to glow brighter and brighter before letting loose a large energy blast at Butch knocking him right through a wall. He got up and leapt at Darksun only to be held in place by him. “Oh I am sorry what was that? Pretty sure this bookworm is about to give you a one way ticket out of here!” He shouted and threw the attacker out of the castle through a glass window with great force. Chrysalis was laughing at this scene.
“Good work my dear pupil. I really think you are ready.” She then materialized a small floating green orb out of thin air. “This orb is a map of the forest area around the castle. Use this to find your way to Ponyville and once you get a place a stay there message me on the orb, and I will debrief you on the next part of the mission.”
“Yes my queen at your command.” Darksun turned back to Chrysalis before bowing. After he stood up on his four legs and walked out of the throne room leaving the changeling queen alone.
“Soon Twilight, soon I will show both you and Celestia the power of my prized student.” She began to laugh maniacally as multiple changelings just turned around.
“The queen must be in a really good mood today.” One of them said, the one walking next to him chuckled. “Maybe she finally opened that package that I sent her and finally started to enjoy some release?”
“Yea you know like the last unit did, before he got squashed.” The two then just gluped and walked away slowly.

Darksun was rummaging throughout his room as books were scattered all over the place. He pulled out a blue book and leapt down to grab the book he was reading before.“The areas outside of the castle are dangerous. So these books will prove quite useful, and I also get to continue reading and figuring out how to cannel destructive magic easier.” He put the two books into his saddlebag and walked out of his room. He turned around to get one last good look at his room. “This is the start of a brand new adventure!” He shouted with enthusiasm.
“Shut up, others are trying to sleep!”
Darksun blushed in embarrassment. “Sorry.” He galloped outside of the castle and went straight for the forest with determination in his eyes. He knew the road there would be dangerous, but that made it all the more fun. ‘Don’t worry my teacher, I will return with results. You have taught me what I need to know and now I get to put that to the test.” He then ran head first into the forest.

Chrysalis was in the throne room lying down on her couch in front of a few of her changelings. “My queen, why would you send Darksun alone to the town where are enemies reside?”
“I know it sounds like this mission is doomed to failure, but don’t worry I believe in Darksun, and one changeling attracts less attention that multiple, despite the fact that we can blend in, and I don't want another incident like the one before in Ponyville, last I remember they were ponies not zombies!" She said shooing away the changelings in the room. After they left she laid down on her back looking at the ceiling. “Twilight you will pay for what you did to me!"

Darksun was currently traveling through the forest surrounding the kingdom with the orb floating in front of his face. He looked up and observed the many trees surrounding him and then looked back down to the map. ‘I really hope this thing is pointing me in the right direction.’ He thought to himself before hearing the sound of a branch snapping from behind him. Darksun turned around slowly his ears twitched. He scanned the area while walking backwards towards the sound. The sound of snorting assaulted his ears as he turned around again only to see a rather large boar that towered front of him.
“Oh hello there what’s a boar doing in a forest like this?” He asked the creature as it was preparing to charge at him. “Oh crud.” Was all he could say before the monstrous boar charged at him and launched him up in the air before the changeling fell to the ground with a loud thud. “If it’s a fight you want it’s a fight you will get.” He said getting up while his legs shook as trying to keep himself upright. The boar though began to charge at Darksun again, but this time a green aura surrounded him and then he vanished in a burst of green light before the creatures eyes. The boar stopped dead in its tracks looking to its left and right in confusion. Soon after he appeared right behind the boar and shot out a green energy beam at the creature making the boar squeal in pain and slump onto the ground. “A basic daze spell should be enough to keep you off of my trail, but to be safe.” His gnarled horn began to glow again as tree vines wrapped around the beast tying it up. The boar struggled and its squeals became louder and louder. “Don’t worry, once I leave the spell will end. I must say you have some tenacity to continue fighting though.” He tried his best comfort the boar before leaving.

Darksun continued walking for a few hours as he started to get rather tired. ‘Looks like I will have to set up camp for here tonight and continue my travels in the afternoon.’ He picked up a few loose branches and some stones getting them ready to start a fire, and within a few mintues he had a nice fire to sit by. ‘I have seen some boars before, but never in the forest and not even as large as that one was. I mean that thing was about ten feet tall. I remember that we have lost troops in this area before, and now I know why. A creature like that isn’t bad for me or any pony with fighting experience, but basic drones like them are toast. I wonder what made an innocent creature like that into that. For now I should get some sleep. I got a big day tomorrow.’
Darksun finished his though as his eyes were slowly closing shut while he laid back onto the dirt while the words "A big day indeed.” Escaped from his lips in a hushed tone.

Author's Note
Before I begin with this chapter I would like to say how I am grateful I am for those of you who did "read" the first chapter and didn't instantly think I was writing about myself. So let me clear a few things up from the last chapters comments. It's Writers Q and A time!
Q. "What an ego, to be writing about yourself."
A. Okay not really a question, but more of a statement so let me say this. Darksun is not really related to me. My account is called Lord Darksun due to the fact that I kind of liked the Dungeons and Dragons Module called Darksun, and planned on writing stories under a different name with Darksun in the name, but instead now I stopped that idea, but came up with a character, and decided to call him Darksun and write about an Idea I had. say. I will change the description to note that, and yes he is an OC, but not a Ponysona. I would also like to add that most writers do inject a bit of themselves into a story anyway, but that is not something to be ashamed of.
Q and A time is over now, and to those of you who gave this a chance I hope you enjoy this chapter and I do hope others enjoy this as well.

Night turned to day as beams of light shined down on the changelings face. His eyes slowly opened up, the light irritating them slightly as he waved a hoof over them.
'Morning already?' He thought to himself while stretching. Darksun stood up shaking his head while looking ahead. 'Dang boar, that one was one serious drop. I am still feeling it now. Some powerful magic must of been used to make it like that, but I need to think about the mission ahead.' Darksun pulled out the map for a few seconds before putting away.
"Okay then it seems like if I keep going ahead I should run into a cave that leads through a mountain." He paused and then sighed. "I need to stop talking to myself." He said while walking onward. Soon though a loud squeal penetrated his ears. Dakrsun then decided to start running, the leaves on the ground were being swept up by him and flew in the air.
"Crud dang habits now that beast knows where I am, and I am still doing it!" He would smack his own self in the face if he could at that moment, but instead he kept running until he saw a bee hive in hanging up in a tree. A smirk spread across his face and he quickly shot out a small burst of energy to knock it down to the ground. A swarm of bees started to come out of the destroyed hive and made a b line straight for him.
'Yea not what I had in mind, but hey let's see what I can do. I got a swarm of angry bees and an angry boar on my tail. Come on brain, work!' He surveyed his surroundings and then looked behind him to see the tusks of the monster behind them.
"Jackpot! Okay smile you son of a ... dammit and I had something really cool planned." He laughed and his horn began to glow a bright green and a gust of wind blew from behind him and carried the swarm right into the boar. The beast stopped in it's tracks as it's eyes and face were stung up by the angry bees. It tried to shake the bugs off, but it only made them madder, and the boar charged into a different direction trying to get those stinging insects off of itself.
'Okay, now that should take care of that blasted beast.' He sighed and turned around to see the cave right in front of him. The entrance was old, but still very well done, there were two stone columns with stone dogs sitting upon them as the entrance itself was large enough for any pony to be able to walk in.
"Awesome, dang I got to really work on talking to myself!" Darksun shouted at it echoed inside the cave. He took a deep breath and walked inside with confidence, and it was now where Darksun noticed that the cave was not really a cave, but more like a pony made path through the mountain, and it was a large one at that. He carefully surveyed the area and noticed that no pony was here.
'Looks like no pony is here.' He thought to himself while exploring the place, noticing the way the dirt was paved with old wood and how there were tunnels leading down many different paths. Darksun pulled out the map once again and looked it over, but there was no response. This elicited a sigh from him, and his ears twitched from a skittering sound.
"Hello any pony home?" He asked, but the only response he received was the skittering sound again, but this time it sounded like it was coming from all sides. He slowly started to walk away down the rightmost path. It was extremely dark, but he decided to go down it anyway. Sadly though his progress was impeded by what felt like a rather sticky wall. He struggled and struggled, as his horn began to glow providing much needed light down the dark path although what he saw made his eyes go wide. He was stuck in a web, and a rather large on at that, it looks like it could easily capture a few fully grown ponies, and Darksun was the foolish fly to walk right in the spiders parlor.
He leaned forward getting further tangled up in the web, and the only words that escaped his mouth was. "Double crud." He heard the same skittering again, and Darksun was soon face to face with what he assumed made the web. It was a large red spider that seemed to wearing an small hat, two eye patches and apparently a black and yellow stripped shirt. Further inspection reveals that all eight of it's legs were rather buff.
"Oh, large isn't even the word to describe you." Darksun said as the spider just looked at him with an angry expression. It moved its two front legs into a position similar to cracking ones knuckles. The changeling's horn slowly started to glow again, but this time instead of a green hue it was being lit on fire.
"Could it be?" A jet a flame shot out of his and burnt away the webbing, making the spider flinch and take a step back.
"So this is the power of the element of fire? This is a amazing, this is." He was interrupted as he felt his body started to wobble back and forth. "Oh triple crud!" He yelled as he was sent soaring backwards away from the spider, but he was out of control. Darksun was sent flying into a large room filled with spider webs, and one large body wrapped up tight by the creatures.
'Note to self don't do that again. At least until I have gotten some practice.' He dusted himself off and looked at the large body. "Another victim I suppose?" He thought aloud while poking and prodding the web with his horn, he could hear the sound of the web tearing a apart bit by bit.
"H-Hello, who there?"
Darksun pulled away and tilted his head. "Hello, who are you?"
A primitive voice spoke out. "Me George and you are?"
"Darksun, my name is Darksun. Do you need some help?" He asked George while cutting through the webbing with his gnarled glowing horn, and a snapping sound was heard as the webs fell off the body and fell on top of the changeling. Suddenly he was lifted up into the air and was face to face with the one he set free.
It was a massive grey creature with large hands and feet, it wore a loincloth, Darksun couldn't see its eyes though, but it was smiling at him with one visible tusk. "PO-NAY?" It said while staring at him.
"What?"
"PONAY! Although not normal ponay." He smiled jumping up and down making the whole room shake. Darksun just looked rather freaked out from the creature's actions. "Me cave troll." He said walking out of the room with Darksun in his hand. "Me now have new pony now."
"Excuse me George, but where are you taking me?"
"George taking you to his old room, where there are other ponays." He said skipping ahead.
"Wait George, despite how nice it would be if we did hang out, but I do need to get going."
"No, ponay come with me."
"George please! I mean wouldn't you revenge on those spiders? If you don't squash them then no ponies would be able to travel through your glorious home."
"No ponays?" George asked sounding rather sad as a tear started to roll down his face.
"No ponies George, unless you help me get out and you take out those spiders." This made the cave troll go crazy as he charged ahead, and eventually the light of the sun hit both of them in the face as they left the cave, and were on a paved road with grass surrounding it. The opening leading back into the path was rather well done, with two dogs sitting on top of the stone columns.
"Darksun go now while me handle the spiders." George said while putting Darksun down on the ground. The Troll then charged forward back into his cave, leaving the changeling on his own. He pulled out his map once again and noticed this time it was working.
'It would seem that something in that cave was interfering with the map's connection, and it would seem that I am actually close to Ponyville.' Darksun started to follow the road until he noticed a town in the distance. He looked at the map, and it showed him that the town he was looking at was Ponyville.
"Well now looks like I finally reached my destination. Ponyville here I come." His body though felt rather weak after saying that. “What’s happening to me?” His body began to shake and wobble as he barely kept himself standing. ‘I need to find a place to rest in that town, and fast, but I need a disguise. I hope I have enough energy to maintain a transformation.’ Darksun’s body began to become surrounded in a green flame, and as the flames parted his black coat was replaced with a nice well groomed white coat, with a messy and short black and green mane, his eyes now had a nice yellow color to them, his tail shared the same color as his mane and was longer and fuller than before, lastly his gnarled horn changed into a rather classy white one. He walked over to a pond and saw his new look.
‘Perfect, this will do just fine. Now I can head into town safely.’ He stared at his reflection for a few seconds, his eyes narrowed. ‘Why does this form seem familiar to me though?’ He wondered as he ran a hoof through his own mane. He stopped staring and looked at his flank noticing there was nothing on it. ’Ah yes, I just forgot one of the most important features.’ He then shot a green beam at his own flank and then a picture of a sack of gold coins appeared on it. ’There, if they ask about me now I can just say I am a traveling adventurer deciding to stay in their town for a while.’ He grinned and walked back on the road towards Ponyville with the thought of finding a place to stay being the primary goal right now.
‘This is where my mission begins.’

Solar was walking around the town, watching the many of ponies walking around while he sat on a bench, but Jacob walked right in front of him and tilted his head. "Hellooo Solar, how are you doing?" He asked in a cheerful tone.
"I'm alright, a little shocked on how the locals act though."
"I don't know why Rainbow and Applejack acted like that, but hey Pinkie seems to like you." This made Solar raise a brow, before getting up and stretching.
"Listen I don't care if they like me or not, and why should I care?" Solar said as he stared to walk away from Jacob, but the earth pony would not let him just walk away like that as he continued to follow him, but he turned around and shouted at him. "Stop following me!"
"No I will not stop following you, not until I see you smile, or until you hear me out." Solar sighed and narrowed his eyes.
"Fine what is this offer."
"Figured as you don't seem like the type that doesn't smile."
"I smile you annoyance, you are just not the type of pony I smile for." Jacob seemed to ignore what he said though and continued to speak.
"Anyway my offer is you live with me and my best friend. What do you think?" Solar opened his mouth like he was about to speak, but then turned away quickly and walked off, but Jacob kept to his word and continued to follow the Unicorn.
"Listen Jacob, I will put to you like this. I would rather live with that ego fueled Rainbow Dash than you." Once he said this though a new voice assaulted his ears.
"What how could you prefer to hang out with Rainbow Dash, over Jacob, heck over me!" The two ponies looked up to see a Pegasus pony, his coat was a dark blue with a short black mane and a long black tail, with his cutie mark being a tornado with fireworks around it. He dove down at Solar and stopped right in front his face, his amber eyes narrowed and within seconds the Pegasus pony was circling around him slowly. "How do you think you are to choose that bragger, over one of the greatest ponies in town?" Solar shook his head in disdain before staring the new pony dead in the eyes.
"Okay what the heck, first this Rainbow Dash, then you, is this some custom for new ponies to know everything about others before coming here?" Jacob just rushed in between them before turning to the Pegasus.
"Listen Knight, he had a few problems before, and one of them was with Rainbow." This made Knight scowl, as he landed on the ground and nodded.
"Oh that makes a lot more sense now. It's quite alright Rainbow can irate the calmest of ponies." Solar just narrowed his eyes.
"I am perfectly fine, just a bit shocked at the actions of Applejack, and Rainbow Dash, anyway I just need to find a place to stay." Jacob's eyes instantly lit up and in a hurried tone he said.
"You can stay with me and Knight, I doubt he will mind." Knight's jaw dropped at what Jacob said.
"Wait a sec Jacob, mind actually asking your roommate before just asking somepony else to stay with us!?" He shouted covering his face with his hooves.
"Okay then, do you mind if he lives with us?"
"It's a little late now Jacob!" Knight yelled in his face his mouth opening quite wide while he did this.
"Excuse me, but don't I get a say in this?" Solar asked tilting his head.
"Well you are new here, and you have no place to stay, so why not stay with us?" Jacob asked him before smiling. Solar sadly knew that the Earth pony had a point, but he was still curious about something important.
"Wait before I agree I have a question. Will I have my own private room, and study to keep to myself?"
"What's a study?" Jacob asked looking to Solar, then at Knight, but the Pegasus just gave Jacob a puzzled look right back at him. Solar decided to inform the two.
"A study is as it sounds, a place for one to be alone and study, either by reading various books or just being alone to ones thoughts, in some cases a lab a form of a study." Jacob nodded, but due to the way he was looking at him, it was quite obvious that he did not understand. "Okay then, will I get my own room at least?"
"Oh yea sure, the whole place has three rooms in total. One is mine, the other is for Knight and the last one will be yours. How does that sound?" Jacob asked as he eyes widened, trying his best to convince him.
"Fine then, that will have to do." Solar said looking at the now ecstatic Jacob, Knight though just looked a little uneasy. "You okay with this? I wouldn't want to intrude."
"Eh whatever, just as long as you don't cause trouble. So what are you doing here in Ponyville anyway, besides annoying Rainbow Dash?" Knight asked as the three started walking again, this time with Jacob leading the three towards their house, and Solar's new place of residence. Hearing Knight's question though made Jacob shout loudly.
"Not just annoy her, her face was in the danger zone!" He laughed making some of the ponies within ear shot blush, with Solar and some younger ponies not even getting the joke.
"The danger zone?" Solar tilted his head in question.
"How could you not know what the danger zone means? You might sound smart, but you know nothing of innuendos, the danger zone is another word for your crotch, and everything else you might be packing down there." Knight chuckled to himself while Solar blushed, but this made it all the funnier for Knight as he continued. "That must of really made her feel uncomfortable, so how much did she see?" Solar just waved his hoof in front of the Pegasus' face.
"How about we get off the subject." Solar said, but Jacob intervened.
"He was also super close to her flank as well, like seriously they were almost in that what position was that again Knight, ninety-six?"
"Sixty-nine Jacob, sixty-nine." Knight whispered it this time to spare the embarrassment from Solar who's face was bright red.
'Ugh my first day here, and already this happened. No wonder why the first squad messed up, these ponies are so weird.' Solar thought to himself while hanging his head in shame. 'Appearances matter so much, and now they could be a lot harder to keep up, with everypony thinking I am some pervert.' He felt a hoof pat him on the back, it was Knight's and he was smiling at him.
"Hey don't worry bud, as far as I see it you are one badass pony to go through all that, after all she's second best." He said, but was interrupted by a similar voice.
"Second best huh! Who is the best then?" The three turned around the see Rainbow Dash on top of a house near them. Knight glared at her with confidence.
"You are looking at the best, after all I am absolutely flawless!" He said pointing a hoof at her. This made Rainbow laugh as leapt off and started to circle around Knight.
"Oh really now, that's a laugh. How about you show me!" Rainbow said moving closer to Knight staring him down with the intent to intimate him, but he just flew up to the same height as Rainbow Dash and remained in eye contact with her. "So what do you say to a race then!?"
"Okay then Rainbow, but how's this then for the win condition, first one to make three laps around the entire town of Ponyville wins!?"
"That's fine, but let's end at Twilights house then. I need to go see her today, and that way I kill two birds with one stone!?"
"Deal!" Knight shouted as they both landed on the ground. "On your mark, get set." He was cut off by Rainbow who shouted.
"Go!" She then shot off into the sky and left Knight in the dust.
"Oh that's how you want it you dang cheat!" Knight shot off as well at around the same speed, now leaving both Solar and Jacob behind.
"Jacob, do they always act like that?" Solar asked as he cleared his throat.
"Yea they are always competing with one another, but it is a blast to watch." Jacob laughed as he gestured for Solar to keep on walking along with him, but once they started Jacob stopped dead in his tracks and shouted. "Wait Solar stop!" The unicorn did not listen and ended up bumping into somepony as they both fell to the ground with a loud thud. Solar got up and shook his head staring at the ground for a brief moment, and shortly after he tried to get his thoughts together a rather soft voice spoke to him.
"O-Oh sorry about that." The voice came from a another female Pegasus, this one had yellow fur and a rather long pink mane that was currently covering one of her green eyes. She stared at him for a brief moment before quickly looking away. "I'm sorry." She said in hushed tone.
"Excuse me?" Solar asked not really hearing what she was saying. "What is your name?"
"My name is Fluttershy." She muttered underneath her breath.
"Huh, did I do something to scare you?" Solar asked tilting his head. Fluttershy then looked at Solar and then looked away again, her face had a light shade of red on it, but she just remained quiet before staring at Solar for an uncomfortably long time. "Well then this is awkward, and I thought the giant boar was a surprise." Solar said to himself while still looking at the yellow Pegasus, but once she heard the words giant boar she shot straight up and her voice became slightly louder, at least loud enough for him to hear her.
"A giant boar?" She asked walking closer to Solar with a smile on her face, this made the Unicorn sweat and gulp.
"Why yes, I ran into it on the way here." Fluttershy's eyes went wide from what she heard. Jacob meanwhile walked up to solar and tapped him on the back.
"So are we going to continue on?" Jacob asked.
"Oh yes sorry, let's go on." Solar said flashing him a nervous smile from the attention the Pegasus was giving him. The two decided to walk off, as Jacob waved goodbye to Fluttershy with a smile on his face, but she started to follow the two of them, standing right in-between Jacob and Solar, her long pink tail swished back and forth as she spoke to Solar.
"Sorry if you couldn't hear me before, my name is Fluttershy. Who are you?"
"I am Solar, and this is Jacob." He pointed at the Earth Pony right next to Fluttershy, she looked over to see him, and looked back at Solar.
"So Solar, how large was this boar?"
"About ten feet tall, and I don't know how much it weighed really, as it tried to basically gore me with it's tusks." This made Flutteryshy looked shocked.
"What!? I know boars can be territorial and kind of rough, but still it shouldn't of outright charged you without trying to scare you off first."
"Yea well it clearly didn't, but hey I took care of it." Flutteryshy's ears drooped down as she looked scared.
"Wait you took care of it, please don't tell me you." Solar cut her off and snickered.
"Don't worry, I didn't kill the beast, all I did was stun it, and chase it away." Fluttershy let out a sigh of relief as she hugged him, this made Solar feel odd as the yellow mare held onto him.
"I am so grateful, boars don't usually act like that or get that large I think somepony turned it into that." She said nuzzling closer to his neck.
"You really must care for animals." Jacob said while he looked at the stunned unicorn. "You must not be used to physical contact." Solar thought about it and it's not like he wasn't used to this, but it was something that always made him feel weird. He never really asked the other Changelings how physical contact felt for them, he hasn't even asked the queen yet. "You aren't saying anything Solar, is something up?" Jacob said smirking, as Fluttershy stopped her hug and blushed a bit, but the unicorn shook his head and smiled.
"Huh, oh yea I am fine." Solar chuckled making Fluttershy smile right back at him. "I am sorry Fluttershy, but we must be going as I am heading to Jacob's house which is ... wait where is your house Jacob?"
"Oh a little past the center of the town, we are within quick walking distance to a place called Carousel Boutique." Fluttershy's ears perked up and her eyes widened.
"Oh that's were Rarity lives, would you mind if I walked with you?" She asked kicking her hoof lightly in the dirt while looking down towards the ground.
"Sure!" Jacob shouted eagerly making Fluttershy let out a cute gasp in response, but Solar decided to chime in.
"Wait hold on a second, don't I even get a response?" He asked making Fluttershy's ears droop down, he stared at her and sighed flashing her a faint smile. "Actually it's okay you can walk with us." Hearing this made the Pegasus smile as the three started walking again, Fluttershy now was walking to the right of Solar, making him walk in-between Fluttershy and Jacob.
"So Solar, are you new to Ponyville?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yes, this is my first day here, and already I met two hyperactive ponies, one of them being Jacob, one arrogant rainbow maned Pegasus, and an Earth pony with a cowgirl hat and southern accent who apparently hates me for no reason." Solar said lowering his neck in disgust. Fluttershy patted his back and tried to comfort him.
"Oh yea Rainbow Dash can sometimes come across as a bit overbearing, but she means well, and Applejack is just being cautious. I bet if you give them some time they will open up to you, but when you say hyperactive pony do you mean Pinkie Pie?" Solar nodded in response as he turned his head towards her.
"She is a bit much, but out of them seemed to be rather nice towards me. Although I am not a fan of having a party thrown for me just for me being here, but she wouldn't take no for an answer."
"That sounds like her." Fluttershy giggled hearing what Solar said.
"So I assume you know them?"
"Yes I do, they have been my friends for a while along with Rarity and Twilight." That name made Solar stand straight up.
"T-Twilight?" Solar stuttered
"Yes, do you know her?"
"I don't know her, but I have heard of her. Would you mind taking me to her?" Fluttershy tilted her head in confusion towards Solar's response.
"I thought you wanted to go see Jacobs house?" She asked, but Jacob just smiled and decided to speak as well.
"It's okay I want to see her too, it sounds like fun."
"Okay then, but I still need to go see Rarity first, so you could come with me to see her, if it's alright with you?" She said quickly looking the other way.
"I am alright with that, what about you Solar?" Jacob asked him which elicited a nod from the unicorn.
"Oh that is perfect for me." He said smirking. 'Well now the queen has warned me about Twilight, so if Fluttershy knows her, maybe the others I met know her as well. I will have to start trying fit in even more now. As they say keep your friends closer and your enemies closer, but still this one here seems too timid to be one of the threats to our kingdom, although she is accepting much like the pink one. I wonder though, what was with the long hug?' He thought to himself, and soon the three trotted off towards Rarity house, with fluttershy slowly showing the two where they need to go.

The three arrived to place known as the Carrousel Boutique and apparent home to Rarity. The building itself was well made and was quite beautiful as it shined in the sunlight. Solar walked up to the door and began to knock on the door which made Fluttershy attempt to speak to the Unicorn. "S-Solar do you know-"
She was cut off by Solar who turned to her. "What is it Fluttershy? I can't hear you."
"I was trying to say that there is a doorbell." She said pointing a hoof at the doorbell right next to him making the Unicorn blush in embarrassment.
"Oh a doorbell, thank you." Solar said as went to hit the doorbell but stopped as soon as the sound of the door opening along with a bell.
"Welcome to Carousel Boutique, where every garment is chic, unique and magnifique." An elegant sounding voice spoke. When Solar turned to look at where the voice came from he noticed that it was from a rather beautiful unicorn mare with a white coat, her purple mane was perfectly styled in a nice curl with her tail sharing a similar design and while glancing there he noticed the three diamonds for her cutie mark. She looked over to Fluttershy her big blue eyes blinked and at that point he noticed how long her eyelashes were. "Oh Fluttershy, there you are."
The yellow pegasus pony quietly trotted over to her and nodded her head. "Yes, I came here to pick up that blanket I gave you." Solar was still surprised at how quiet the mare's tone was even with somepony she knows. Fluttershy looked back at Jacob, then at Solar and blushed, her cheeks turning a light tint of red. "Oh yes this is Solar and Jacob, they are two new ponies here."
"Well actually I have been here for three days, and to Pinkie that already means I'm like family." Jacob interjected. Solar then leaned in to whisper to Jacob.
"Listen, if you seem to well enjoy this pink one's company than being family is not how you get to have some special time with her." This made Jacob's ear droop.
"Wait really?"
"From what I know yes." Soon the unicorn mare walked up to the too of them and tapped them both.
"Boys if you don't mind me butting in a for a bit, why don't we go inside." She stated walking inside of her home with Fluttershy following her.
"Solar listen, regardless of what you say I shall win her heart!" Jacob shouted making the two ladies turn their heads around to see him pointing his hoof at the sky with his chest puffing in and out. Once he saw the two staring at them he still stood there smiling at the two.
The two ladies walked inside with Solar following right behind them, but not before saying. "Smooth." In a rather sarcastic tone, but his eyes widened once he saw how good the unicorn's house looked inside especially how clean her house was. "Quite impressive."
"Why thank you darling, but I don't think I introduced myself to you? I am Rarity."
"It is a pleasure to meet you Rarity, I am Solar, I must apologize for not introducing myself to you before your friend did." He said giving the alabaster unicorn a bow.
"Oh my what a gentlecolt." Rarity said clapping her hooves together in excitement.
"I haven't been called that all day." Solar said rolling his eyes before looking back to the two mares, Fluttershy was currently right behind Rarity letting her converse with him.
"What do you mean, you cannot tell me that you do not always act like that darling?"
"Oh no I do, but it would seem not many seem to enjoy my attitude, especially that orange farm pony." Hearing that made Rarity giggle.
"That is just how Applejack is towards formal actions and greetings, it is just not her thing."
"Oh, and is it just her thing then to accuse others of being suspicious out of the blue?" He inquired tilting his head.
"Well no actually, that is quite odd maybe I should talk to her."
"No don't it's no big deal, besides if you do talk to her about that it will only cause more trouble." He then looked down for a brief moment as he thought to himself. 'It would seem this one knows about the other two as well, and if she is friends with the yellow one then that could mean that this unicorn knows about the pink one and even more important this Twilight Sparkle.' Eventually he felt someone tap his back.
"I-I didn't ask you this, but w-what are you doing in Ponyville? I mean if that's an okay question to ask." Solar turned around to see Fluttershy was behind him and she still seem nervous.
"Well I was rather tired after my long travels and I thought this town would be a great place to stay." He said calmly while making sure to maintain proper eye contact with the two. "After all it was a long trip from the castle to here." He mumbled under his breath, but unfortunately the alabaster mare heard him and rushed up to him wide eyed.
"A castle!" Rarity shouted with glee and shock. "You came here from a castle!?" Making Solar blush in embarrassment.
"Oh you heard that, you can say I came from a castle."
"T-Then are you a prince!?"
"What? No I am no prince."
"T-Then are you are guard here on royal business?" Rarity asked making Solar think.
'That's not a bad idea actually, if I pose as a guard here that could get me closer to the citizens of this place along with allowing me to possibly get closer to these mares and figure out more about them.' "Why yes, I am a guard, and I was currently traveling around on official business."
"I-I-If you are here on official business then maybe you might want to see Twilight about that." Fluttershy said stuttering slightly. Solar raised a brow at the comment thinking. Meanwhile Rarity grabbed Fluttershy and brought her to a corner.
"Fluttershy, what are you doing darling?" Rarity whispered to her friend.
"I-I-I was just trying to help to him out."
"Yes, but still he did not come to Ponyville for this business did he?"
"What if he did though, maybe he needs to come here and he just didn't want to tell us yet?"
"Why on earth would he not tell us?"
"M-Maybe because he is nervous, I mean with that issue he had with Applejack and Rainbow Dash maybe he doesn't quite trust us."
"I guess, but may I ask why do you care so much darling?" Fluttershy just blushed and remained silent, her unicorn friend though just nodded once she saw her rosy red cheeks. "Say no more my dear let's help him out." The two mares turned over to Solar with Rarity smiling and Fluttershy looking down to the ground.
"Are you two okay?" Solar asked while Jacob just laid down on Rarity's couch watching the three intensely.
"Quite alright Solar my dear, but I agree with Fluttershy you should go see Twilight to talk about this business, maybe she can help you."
"I think I will take your advice, thank you girls."
"Don't thank us just yet at least not until we take you to her." Rarity said with an eager tone.
"Wait what do you mean, not until we take you to her?"
"Do you know where she lives?"
"Well no, but..."
He was cut off by Rarity. "But nothing my dear, you are new to Ponyville, and I will make sure that you feel welcome here."
"Fine then you can take me there."
Jacob them finally spoke up in excitement. "You can take us there!" His sudden voice startled the Pegasus pony as she almost fell backwards. Rarity glared at him, but then decided to take a breath.
"I don't think it might be your style Jacob."
"Anything is better than just sitting around and besides it might be fun." He said hopping off of the couch while bouncing up and down.
"I-It's okay Rarity, he can come if he really wants." Fluttershy said in her usual low voice.
"Okay then, but only because you don't min darling." The alabaster mare said to the pegasus before turning to Jacob and Solar. "Well we can get going whenever you are ready." Solar nodded and the group of four left the house for Twilight's abode as Rarity took the lead making Jacob walk next to her with Fluttershy and Solar taking up the rear.

That is it for part 4 sorry for the long wait. A mixture of work, lack of motivation and it taking rather long for my editor to give me his opinions on this, I hope you all enjoy this.
