Twilight started to stir. She was outside in the poring rain. As her vision cleared she saw 5 ponies surrounding her. Suddenly she sat up and looked around. she could still see the wreckage of her car (or her rental car).
"What happened" Twilight asked with worry. Her friends looked at one another.
"We got in a car crash dear." Rarity simply stated. Twilight looked at her friends with a confused look.
"How come none of us has even a scratch on us?" Twilight said in confusion.
"We don know sugarcube" Applejack stated. "You were arguing with Pinkie here when Flutters started screaming and then this happened." As she said that she pointed at the car.
"Fluttershy what did you actually see" Twilight asked.
Fluttershy looked down. "I saw a pony in front of us."
"Darling how is that possible. If we hit a pony then we would feel a bump under the car not get in a car crash." Rarity said bemused.
"I..ii don't know.." Fluttershy whimpered.
Twilight and the others sat there for a little bit when Pinkie started to talk. "I don't know about you but it's so cold and i want to get warm. We should find somewhere to stay at like a house or a mansion or a store or..."
Twilight got up while Pinkie rambled on and on. "Pinkie has the right idea. We need to find shelter. and with that the gang trudged down the road with their bouncy friend still saying ideas.
~An hour later~
"... or a trailer or a amusement park or a *gasp* orphanage." Pinkie stated as she ran ahead.
"Really Pinkie. An orphanage. Out of all those you said that is the last thing that we would see on a major highway." Rarity stated with a humph. She wasn't used to walking long distances in the rain no less.
"I wouldn't count on that." stated Rainbow Dash and began running after Pinkie.
Rarity Reluctantly looked up. What she saw defied all logic. She saw an area surrounded by tall stone walls. The walls were more like prison walls but the sign in the front saying orphanage told otherwise. It was worn down and it was obvious that wildlife took over the place. Then she saw her friends running to the place.
"Girls wait up" Rarity said with a grown and ran to catch up.
"Lets try to teleport in and unlock the door." Rarity said as she looked at the gate to the orphanage. It turned out this place was more abandoned than anything they've seen. Its was more lonely then the crystal caves could ever be.
"We can't" Twilight deadpanned. "There's a magical force field restricting magic."
"How is that possible. This place looks to have been abandoned for years now." questioned Rarity.
"I think they put a spell that lasts forever so fouls don't accidentally use magic. Look there's a place were we can climb over."
"Who needs to climb when you have these bad things." Rainbow said as she flexed her wings. then she suddenly took flight.
"Wait the magic shield also disrupts..." Suddenly Rainbow's wings buckled up next to her as she screamed into the orphanage. "...flying, ugh" Twilight groaned.
"RAINBOW DASH" Fluttershy screamed quite loudly as she climbed up the wall faster than Pinkie Pie ever could.
"Celestia dammit" Twilight huffed as she and the others climbed over the wall.
As the others jumped down from the wall they saw Fluttershy hunched over Rainbow Dash. "I'm ... fine i ... promise" Rainbow Dash said though pants. "I just got scared."
"The famous Rainbow Dash got scared, ah thought that ah would never see the day" Applejack said in a sarcastic voice.
"You try falling from that distance" Rainbow retorted.
"At least ah wouldn't scream like a little girl."
"You so would."
"Try me."
"I can't."
"Why are you too chicken."
"STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP"
Applejack and Rainbow Dash turned around to see Twilight scream. "We are here now so we need to go forward and out of this rain." Twilight stated.
"And besides girls we need to find a ladder to get out of here. That hole is too high to reach" Rarity added. "We are stuck in here for the time being." And with that the gang began their trip towards horrors unimaginable.
They weren't on the road for very long when they saw something red on the path floor. "Is that ... blood" Rarity said with a gulp.
"it looks so" Twilight confirmed. "And its fresh."
"I need to see what it is" Fluttershy stated as she followed the path. "Oh my it could be a bird or a scuirl or a raccoon or a ... oh ... no." On a tree at the paths end there was a white bunny with an arrow through its chest.
"ANGEL" The others just caught up when they saw Fluttershy cowering under Angel. "Oh my word is that really angel." Rarity said behind Applejack's back.
"I think so but how did he get here.It also appears he's been murdered." Twilight questioned.
"I'm going to murder the one who did this"
"Sorry Fluttershy what did you say" Twilight asked cocking her head.
Fluttershy's stance suddenly grew to something representing anger. "I'm going to kill the mother fucker who did this" Everyone recoiled at that.
"Do we have any beer or wine." Rainbow said.
"Darling how can you be thinking about getting drunk at a time like this." Rarity questioned before looking at Fluttershy again.
"It's not for me. It's for her unless you want her to get bitchy or throw trees ar..uph.." Pinkie held Rainbows mouth with a napkin that came from nowhere.
"Wha do ya mean sugarcube."
Pinkie Pie and Rainbow shared glances and then nodded. Slowly pinkie removed the napkin."Fluttershy .... ever since the discord event she has been having anger issues. We think it has to do with Discord leaving something in Flutters. The only way we calmed her down was by drinking. Then ... she kinda became an alcoholic but it kept her normal." Rainbow stated.
"So that's why you made us stop all the time." Twilight replied. Pinkie nodded.
"let's go" Fluttershy stated as she got up.
"Are ya sure sugarcube you look a bit pale." Applejack said with a worried voice.
"Yea i'm getting cold." Fluttershy stated but not in a shy manner. She said it with a cold voice.
They got back on the path and continued down it. Then they came to the orphanage. It was in much the same shape as the wall only it was more intact then crumbled. The path split in two as it came up to a fountain then regrouped in front of the stairway up to the door.
"Unless i'm mistaken, which I rarely am, why does the rain suddenly feel thick and warm. Rain isn't supposed to feel like that." Pinkie pie stated testing the rains taste."And its not chocolate"
"Your right it tastes more like..." Twilight's eyes suddenly went big. "..blood.."
With that the gang ran at full speed toward the door. Applejack, being the first one there, opened the door and went inside. Once every one was in there Twilight asked "Is every one ok." Every one gave a yes in reply when suddenly the door closed with a loud bang.
It was a stormy night while Twilight and her gang were driving in a SUV on the road to Ponyville. The day after the Canterlot wedding Rainbow Dash and Rarity asked if they could take a road trip instead of the train so they could bond after what happened. Now they were lost and trying to find someplace to stay the night.
"Can we stop by a drink bar," asked a hopeful Rainbow Dash. Pinkie and Fluttershy nodded vigorously.
Twilight sighed and slowly said "You and your DRINKING habits are what got us LOST in the first place." Since they had started this road trip Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and strangely Fluttershy has asked to stop at every place that sold beer or wine they saw.
"Aww but Twiliy ..." Pinkie Pie started to say.
Twilight had enough."I SAID NO" she screamed at the top of her lungs as she took her eyes off the road for one second.
In that second Fluttershy, who was sitting in the passenger seat, screamed "Stop the car." Then the car lurched forward as it hit something. Before anyone could see what they hit the car came toppling down onto it's roof.
