A young pegasus named Starburst is orphaned when a group of criminals appear at her home to kill her mother and burn down her house. Her father and brother drop her off at an orphanage, where she meets an earth pony called Golden Delicious and a unicorn called Anthea. They are soon adopted by Fluttershy, who is part of a mysterious group called Harmonic Clan, and Starburst's and Golden Delicious's parents were also part of this group….
