My Little Monster Hunter

I woke up sleeping on the wheel of the boat. When I popped my head up, I saw we were at a dock. Then an elderly pony came up to our boat and told us "Welcome ponies of PonyVille!" And when he finished that sentence the whole village was cheering.

"I'm glad to know we're wanted!" I exclaimed. The elder led us to our room. It was a compact little room with a big gaping hole in the wall with the scene of the mountains and ocean. It also had a log table with a tree stump for the chair. It was all real nice and beautiful but there was only one problem, the room had only one bed. I wont do well sleeping next to Thunder. So I asked the elder if they had another bed.

He said "No, but we do have a futon." I mean I wasn't going to complain, so I took it. I wasn't going to kick Thunder off the bed, so I took the futon to sleep on. It was a very uncomfortable night, all the reason because the futon really hurt my back. So I put the futon into a regular couch and slept horizontally on it.

When I woke up, the whole village was already awake. So I got off the futon and went up to Thunders bed. "Hey Thunder wake u-" but I wasn't able to finish because Thunder wasn't even in bed. So I walked outside and saw that Thunder was playing with the kids. I heard my named being called and I went to the little stand that was right next to the docks. When I got there, I saw this beautiful pony. She had a ponytailed hairstyle and this red hat with a matching skirt, and she was also wearing a white shirt. Ponies called her, Sweet Heart.

"Hello there brave warrior." she said. "My name is Sweet Heart." I wasn't paying attention to what she was saying but only to her beautiful complexion. "Your name is Epic right?" she asked.

"Yep I sure am." I said.

"You and your friend, Thunder, will be going on a brand new quest tomorrow!" she said with excitement. "Your first quest will be to gather some unique mushrooms for the village to have a feast!" she exclaimed. "Ok?"

"You betcha... Gather some mushroom thingies, and do the feast." I said awkwardly. She just looked at me with confusion and I fled so I wouldn't make anything more awkward then it already was.

Later I went up to the mountains to explore the area. Everything looked simply amazing. Everything was so breathtaking, it even wanted to make me cry. When I got up this mountain that had a bunch of bones everywhere around a nest I got worried. I got worried I might have to come up to this nest and when I do there will be a monster here that will try to kill me. I shuddered at that thought of being eaten maliciously. When I got back to the town I saw Thunder with a foal on his back flying in the air. "Dude! Stop! Be careful!"

He turned his head and the foal fell off his back. I screamed and ran to try to catch the foal, but Thunder flew real fast and caught the foal. "Jerk." I said. Thunder was laughing away while I felt steamed.

After dinner, we went back to our room. Then Thunder apologized to me. I accepted it because we shouldn't ruin our partnership because of a joke. That night I had a dream where me and Sweet Heart were dancing and laughing our hearts content, but alas, it was only a dream. The next morning we got assigned to the gathering quest. So we went up to the mountains and gathered the mushrooms. Then we heard this howling.

"What was that?" I asked. When we turned around, we saw a Jaggi charging at us, and on its tail was a Great Jaggi. "We're screwed!" I yelled.
