I had hoped to Celestia that this was all a dream, but it wasn't. This was real, I had been chosen for this task due to its sensitive nature. I had tears in my eyes, not just because I was once again home and would be here for a while but also because this was where I and Major Read would part ways. I was in his hooves half asleep as Smoky made the announcement and wanted to wake up from this dream and find myself forever in his hooves. This would be the first real time we would be apart and I felt very upset at the turn of events but understood them as well. This group of mares and fillies would never accept the help of colts, and to be honest I didn't blame them one bit. As we got off the train he kissed me and Twilight didn't say a word. Instead she was crying at the fact that we were all parting ways. she was on her way to Neighvavda with the major and me and Harmony were staying here.

We all went to my house for a bit of food and something to drink for about fourty five minutes and soon were saying our goodbyes to each other. I trotted along his side to the train station and as he got on it I told him I loved him and that if he went and got himself killed i'd never forgive him for it. Twilight simply laughed and told me I had nothing to worry about and that she wouldn’t allow him to die, and that she enjoyed our time together. She also said that she enjoyed both me and Harmony and that if we ended up dead she would bring us back to life just to kill us for dying in the first place. "YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT TWI, WE'LL BE FINE. YOU TAKE CARE OF HIM AND I'LL TAKE CARE OF HARMONY OK. LOVE YOU BOTH, AND WE'LL SEE EACHOTHER AGAIN SOON OK." I yelled to them as the train departed the station. After the train left the station I got my ponies together and let them know what would be going on while we were in Bitter Creek and got them all squared away.

"OK EVERYPONY GATHER YOUR GEAR AND FOLLOW ME TO WHERE WE WILL REST FOR THE NIGHT. GAURD SHIFTS WON'T BE REQUIRED SEEING AS WE ARE IN FRIENDLY TERRITORY. SO GET ALL THE REST YOU MARES AND FILLIES CAN GET. I HAVE TO MEET GREYHOOF ALONG WITH HARMONY, SO BLACK VELVET IS IN CHARGE UNTIL WE GET BACK. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS BRING THEM TO HER. IF ANY PONY FEELS THAT THEY NEED SOME PRIVATE TIME TO THEMSELVES, OR A DRINK BY ALL MEANS GO FOR IT. JUST REMEMBER THOUGH, DEPENDING ON WHAT GREYHOOF SAYS WE MAY BE HEADING OUT EARLY IN THE MORNING. The group made up of mares of all ages from eighteen and up all gave me a hoof salute and with that me and Harmony were off to meet Grey Hoof.

First off Major Read has told me all about you two mares and to be honest your reputations precede you. Killers to the core and yet very mare like when need be. That’s just why I knew this task would suit you two perfectly. Now that Blood Flank is dead the N.L.R are looking high and low for any pony having anything to do with the N.C.E for revenge. In that right the N.C.E has made their name very clear to the N.L.R and they are now scared of us. That being said though, they have changed their tactics of just going into a place and killing any and all they see. Instead they are now taking any and all female ponies and sending them to their headquarters at Shattered Hoof Ridge. The N.L.R aren’t stupid and know that by taking any and all female ponies from places the resistance will be forced to show themselves, and that’s just what the N.L.R wants. Ponies across the land are now being killed for no other reason than the protection of mares and fillies. This is where your group of marecenaries comes in. the N.L.R will never suspect a group of mares and fillies to be protecting their targets. I have set up a meeting with the mare that wrote the note that major read gave to you. They have agreed to meet with you in your own hometown in a day. They also have agreed to meet with me as well. So what do you two say to all of this?" I looked at Harmony for a minute, and in one voice we both said "WE'RE IN." We spent the rest of the meeting talking about how the killing of the general had made the N.L.R take sudden notice of the N.C.E and how we had accomplished our goal one hundred fold. "Thanks to you and your team, Canterlot has been freed of the remaining N.L.R ponies, and all but the castle is free of them. We figure we'd let them have the castle. Besides its not like they can go anywhere now without being killed on site. I know you are missing Major Read, but all things come with a price. This mission is very important seeing as Harmony has already been made to suffer at the hooves of the N.L.R I’m sure you know just how much this will mean to Equestria."
