Both me and Black Widow stepped back in as dinner was being served, the conversation really had not put us in the mood to eat yet and we told them to hold off on bringing it out until we were done listening to Buckshot, and they agreed taking the food away.

"Now where was I at? Oh yeh Blood Flank. Well he was in Manehatten the day it had been nuked you know that much right? What you don't know is that he was there on a mission for the n.l.r getting the word out about us, you see even before the war ended Luna knew she was in hot water doing what she was doing but she was hell bent on ending the war so bad that she was willing to even break the laws of Equestria which she had no clue she was doing to start. Blood Flank was a double pony he worked for the e.l.f and us at the same time, Major Read's commander at the time knew all about this and he also knew that if the e.l.f could take over such a huge place as Manehatten they could do the same in other places as well. It would have been suicide had he entered the city, trust me I know the e.l.f was dug in tight and they were willing to defend their base of operations to the last pony. That's where Blood Flank tired to draw the line, he was the one to actually try to talk some since into the ponies at Manehatten telling them that if they just gave up a small portion of the city that they would be fine. However after getting into the city he gained his notorious name and reputation, he saw just how many mares and fillies there were in the city and quickly organized a group of colts and stallions into what are today Blood Flanks raiders. His actions are what caused the nuke strike on the city, not the fact that the e.l.f had taken controll of the city in fact the e.l.f did more good than bad in the city, accepting the key to the city from the mayor in fact. They really had no intent on what went on the minuet Blood Flank got there and tried to have him expelled from the e.l.f which didn't go the way they hoped it would seeing as he was a commander in both the e.l.f and n.l.r, Luna simply dismissed it all as a drunken night that had gone too far and reprimanded him for it nothing more.

If only Luna had known what she had done she would have had him killed on the spot knowing her the way I do, she didn't realize that she had just let a monster lose on Equestria she really didn't, she figured he would learn his lesson and act more civilized in the places he would go next. She was dead wrong, the next place this happened was in San Franciscolt the poor city stood no chance, and the raiders entered the city under the guise of an e.l.f company assigned to protect the city from the eqng. What happened next is what made Luna take notice and have us start hunting them all down. The bloodshed was beyond anything any of us could comprehend and Luna even had Celestia have a look at it showing her that it wasn't the e.l.f or at least all of the e.l.f that was causing all the death and destruction around Equestria. That is when Celestia made the executive choice to have Manehatten bombed, hopefully killing Blood Flank and his troops. That is the real story behind the nuke strike on the city not the fairy tales you have all heard. After the strike on the city that is where Trixie's meetings with Luna began to discuss a possible end to the bloodshed and the war all together. It is also when Celestia took her stance on all enemy’s of the land and had her sentenced to death, but you all know that story plus I have already gone there so no need to kick a dead pony so to speak."

"Well I’m not hungry anymore; in fact I am sick to my stomach excuse me for a minute while I go hack my guts up." That was all Harmony could get out before pretty much cantering to the little fillies room. The sentiment was about the same as all the conversations in the place had ceased and every pony was fixated on what Buckshot had just told us all, in fact there were some who were ripping off their n.c.e patches and actually throwing them on the ground grinding them into the ground with their hooves. Even Grey Hoof who I thought was the most loyal to the n.c.e had taken his off and was actually burning it. It was a hard thing to believe that the one pony in the land we all looked up to could do such things and have the audacity to throw her sister to the wolves just to save her rule over the land. Black Widow had gathered her troops and was in a half circular formation and actually told Buckshot that she would join the n.l.r right there on the spot as long as her team could be the ones to hunt and kill the raiders to which he agreed. I had no clue what to do I mean on the one hoof I had fought hard for Celestia, but the facts were staring me in the face that it clearly was the wrong side to be on. I thought about what the major would say and what he would do if I ever changed sides, and now the choice was no longer a hypothetical but now an all too real choice.
