Twilight Sparkle finds a series of diaries tucked away in the dark recesses of Canterlot University's immense library basement. Upon further investigation, she discovers that they have been written by an old friend of hers who has long since passed. What she reads in them is a dark tale of the past, filled with murder and lies, and information that could turn the government upside-down.
