You follow Rarity down the stairs into the kitchen, where she makes dinner, enlisting your help in chopping vegetables. Soon, you sit down to eat. The food is very good, nearly a match for the expensive meal yesterday. You and Rarity talk late into the night. You learn more about her fashion business and her friends, and you tell her a bit about yourself. Somehow the smile under the curl of her purple hair isn’t so intimidating anymore.

You leave around midnight with plans to go to the summer fair together. It’s hard to keep a skip from your step or a smile from your face as you walk home.
