The Uptight Librarian
Mistakes aren't Allowed Here
Load Full StoryRainbow Dash kept her eyes on a book as she trudged through the streets of Ponyville. It was rather late at night and the moon itself had taken hold of the sky for the past several hours. What was Rainbow Dash doing out at such a time? Well, she's on her way to return a book that she had borrowed.
Some would figure, why not just wait until tomorrow to return it? Well, but here's the thing, that very book Rainbow is holding in her has also been accidentally dunked in bath water. Incredibly irresponsible to do something like reading a book while bathing, but not if you're Rainbow Dash herself. Of course throughout life, Rainbow Dash had always been a reckless and careless pony. Though, her behavior may have been reinforced due to all the second chances she received from very forgiving people throughout her life.
After about a short five minute walk through the autumn chill, she was at the doorsteps of the Golden Oak Library. Rainbow stood in front of the door for nearly a minute, thinking of every word the librarian would use in the dictionary to describe how...irresponsible she was. She grimaced as the imaginary anal reaming of her character played inside her head, till she eventually had the guts to knock on the door.
Three quick knocks was all it too before a reply was made.
"Hold on, I'll be right there!" The all too familiar voice shouted, she seemed...irritated, a mood in which Rainbow Dash didn't want to meet. That instant, she hid the book behind under her back. She was a chicken, scared of a nerdy librarian.
The front door opened in with intensity and the head of the library appeared. She had the look of someone whom had a really bad day, but her scrunched face lightened as she spotted Rainbow's face. "Oh Rainbow, what are you doing here so late?” She gleamed, now sounding like a motherly figure. “Well anyways, come on in. Don't want you catching a cold now," She then gestured with a hand for Rainbow to come inside.
Rainbow Dash stepped inside without making a reply. This is becoming more and more dangerous, she wanted to turn back, but no. It was too late. If Twilight was going to yell at her, it would be a lot better inside than out. Don't want to disturb Twilight's neighbors you know, it would be rude after all.
With the door shut behind her, Rainbow decided it was the best time to fess up. "Hey ummm, Twilight, do you remember the book I borrowed last week?" Rainbow asked as she stared into the back of Twilight Sparkle's head, waiting for the inevitable.
"Yes, Daring Doo and The Seven Hearts of Gold was it not?” Twilight answered mid step and swiveled her head to face friend as she strode towards the kitchen. Did you finish it already?"
Rainbow shot her eyes towards the wooden floors of the library, she felt uneasy looking Twilight in the eye. Somewhat ashamed, as if she had broken the law or something."I sort of...ummm...I sort of dropped the book into the bath water..." She mumbled, so low that Twilight halted in place and leaned in close, as if she was a certain pink haired girl.
“I’m sorry Rainbow, I didn’t quite get that, could you please speak up,” Twilight said. “You’re not Fluttershy you know,”
“I dropped the book while I was reading it in the bath,” Rainbow said all too quickly as she braced herself against the inevitable onslaught of Twilight’s rage.
“You what!?” Twilight shouted at the top of her lungs. “How could you be so…so…” She paused mid sentence and rubbed the forehead of her reddening face in frustration, unable to comprehend the careless actions of the girl before her. She snapped from her pit of boiling frustration and she ordered Rainbow with an open hand, “Give me the book now, let me see what you’ve done too it.”
Rainbow slowly revealed the ruined book and handed it to librarian with shaking hands. Twilight ripped the book from Rainbow’s possession and shot daggers at her before turning her attention to the book. She examined it carefully, her eyes scanning every inch of the waterlogged book. Everything was soaked, pages stuck together, the font unreadable, and even the book was falling apart from its spine. It was ruined, gone. A completely good book destroyed by a simpleton and a first edition at that.
Twilight then slammed the book to the floor, creating a large thud that echoed through much of the library. She was clearly upset as Rainbow could see. Twilight would never handle a book like that; she would treat every single one as if they were her precious baby. Rainbow feared she had pushed the librarian over the edge, especially with all the past mishaps with the previous books she had borrowed.
“You need to be punished, come with me,” Twilight stated as she grabbed Rainbow by the ear and pulled her up the stairs. Not that Rainbow really had a choice in the matter. Rainbow did as told; she did not want to piss Twilight off anymore than she already did or her right ear might torn off from the rage that was building inside.
Rainbow was now bent over Twilight’s lap, her spats pulled down to her knees. The librarian ran a hand down her friend's lower cheeks; she could feel her body twitching as she continued. Her hand lingered for some time as to keep the suspense. Rainbow knew she was going to get, but when? When soon turned to now and the librarian then raised her hand and slammed it twice against the delinquent’s pale backside. Rainbow’s cheeks reverberated from the audible slaps. Rainbow Dash recoiled from the stinging sensation and let out a small whimper.
Rainbow Dash couldn't bear to even so much as glance in Twilight Sparkle's direction. She could feel the humiliation rising, her reddening face showing clearly how she felt. Rainbow Dash had never been hit in years, sure she had when she was just a little girl, but this was absolutely cruel. Not only was it a grown women being punished, but by one that was only a couple years younger. This was the absolute worst and added the fact that she had no idea how many spankings she was going to receive. The only thing Rainbow Dash could do was suck up and brace for impact.
As quick as the first two hit came, the others came with even more force. The stinging became greater as Twilight had focused purely on the delinquent’s right cheek and only her right cheek.
"What's wrong Rainbow? Too much for you to handle? Are you now regretting your actions?" Twilight Sparkle sneered as she began playfully squeezing Rainbow's cheeks. Giving Rainbow the needed break she so very needed. Twilight Sparkle was pleased at what had come to be.
"Y-yea it hurts a lot and I-I think I learned my lesson s-so can we stop here?" Rainbow lied, letting down her pride for a chance to stop this humiliation.
“Lair!” Twilight shouted as she landed a fierce slap on Rainbow’s behind, causing her to yelp like an effeminate school girl. “I’ve seen you get hit by a bus and walk away with scratches and for trying to be slick, I’m going to add ten more hits to the list.” She then continued ruining Rainbow’s lower cheek with a barrage of three more spankings. Twilight was having way too much fun as she burst into a chuckle as Rainbow yelped at the sudden impact.
Rainbow was beginning to crack already; the string of humiliations upset her dearly. How far was Twilight going to take the delinquent, would she be able to stand the librarian’s assault? It worried Rainbow, but her thoughts fleeted her as she was felt Twilight's open palm once again on her stinging flank.
The delinquent groaned from the impact, her right cheek were deafeningly red, contrasting from its untouched twin. Far from recovering from the last hit, Rainbow was then hit with an assault; totaling near twenty hits on to her right backside. Rainbow began to sequel in agony from the first starting five hits, but soon her whole body began to spas out from the fifteen other spankings. At the end of the assault, Rainbow couldn't feel her right flank anymore. It was absolutely numb. And her face...her face had tears streaming down; she looked like a little girl.
Twilight Sparkle craned her head down to Rainbow's level. She felt a stream of satisfaction overcome her and had broken into a evil grin. Satisfied with the sniveling baby girl in front of her, the very one who couldn't even look at her. Did Rainbow learn her lesson? Most would think so, but no, not Twilight, oh no just one more; one large enough to leave its mark inside the delinquent’s head. Twilight wanted her friend to remember every time she borrowed a book, that there were rule, and rules that were going to be enforced with a swift hand.
Twilight Sparkle reeled her hand into the air once more and slammed it into Rainbow's flank, causing the girl to wince. She then removed her hand and viewed the results, fully satisfied with handing down the punishment.
"Rainbow Dash, have you learned your lesson?" Twilight Sparkle questioned, while she ran her hand through her friend’s hair. Rainbow Dash just nodded silently, given a few sniffles. Twilight Sparkle then hiked up Rainbow's spats over her half redden cheeks and tucked girl into her own bed. Rainbow was upset with the punishment, but she would feel better in the morning. The delinquent was just lucky Twilight Sparkle only decided to leave one of her cheeks untouched, at least she would be able to sit down. Abet leaning on one side. Hopefully Rainbow Dash had learned her lesson in being responsible.
