Years ago, a young unicorn filly was found stranded in the forest. Christened "Twilight Sparkle" by her adoptive grandmother, she quickly proved to be a brilliant martial artist. Unfortunately, due to a bump on the head shortly after being found, she isn't particularly bright in areas outside of fighting. Nevertheless, she and her band of friends, the Z Warriors, quickly proved to be Equestria's strongest heroes. Together they vanquished many foes, ultimately leading to Twilight's climactic battle with the Demon Queen Lyra.

This is not that story.

This story is set about five years later. Twilight now has a daughter, a young filly named Fluttershy. But that's the least of her concerns: a strange stallion has landed on Earth, claiming that he is her brother and that Twilight is part of an alien warrior race called the Saiyans. This revelation sets off a chain of events which will lead Twilight and the Z Warriors on an adventure across space and time, a journey which will ultimately decide the fate of the entire universe.

So it's too bad we have to rely on a bunch of idiots to save us all.
