My name is Marble "Inkie" Pie and I'm a normal mare who lives a normal life.

Most ponies don't know me as well as they think they do.

That will change.

"INDIGO MERCURY DREAMSCAPE! I HAVE HALF A MIND TO CALL YOUR MAMA RIGHT NOW!" I screamed. Indigo was a pain in the flank sometimes.

Indigo smirked. "But mooom~"

"INDIGO, UNHAND MY SOCKS AND YOU WILL NOT BE HURT."

"...Hmph," He threw over my favorite socks, which landed on my head. I swear to Luna, that colt is gonna get it sometime.

"Oh Indi, come in,"

"Make me." He put his hooves on his hips and shook his head the way I used to when I was mad.

"C'mere or I'm tellin' your mama!"

"My mama gonna whoop yo' ass, Marbi. I'm not afraid."

"You GONNA be afraid!"

"Shut up."

"Hmm~? Is lil' Indi afraid?" I clucked at him. He was coming in my room whether he liked it or not.

"...No! I'm not coming in! You're gonna scare me; you know I get tense easily..." He whimpered. I had never seen him like that.

"But I made rock candy cupcakes!"

I didn't know what happened when he slammed the door open and pounced on me, grabbing the cupcakes.

"Psst, Marbi,"

"Indi- It's four o' clockin the morning. She's probably raising the sun by now," I grimaced as I implied That Princess raising the sun by now. I could never get over my hate for her.

"I've never really thought about how weird you are, Marbi,"

"In what way?"

"Like, when you're at a party, one second you're dancin' like you got possesed by somethin', and the next you're on the floor, mumblin' somthin' 'bout 'She's gonna kill us, then she's gonna killum!' What's that 'bout?!"

"No idea."

"Oh. Okay.

Another thing, Marbi,"

"What-" Then Indi had to jump from his bed down to mine.

BOUNCE!

"GERONIMOOO!"

How I hated him then.

Age: 23, present

"Hey, Marbi..?"

"Yea?"

"Why do you hate Princess Celestia so much?"

"..."

"Well... Once when I was 5... My mother let me send a letter to Celestia for advice, and... Celestia said that I was wasting my time and that I should go back to working on the rock farm..." Marble Pie, the experienced rock farm, upholder of a not-very-known reputation, started to cry. Indigo looked on with sympathy.

"I... I looked up to Princess Celestia. But once she sent that letter, it... It broke my heart."

Indigo could only sigh.
