Chapter 2: A Slave Still working

it is a dark and dusty day, The clouds are grey and darkened and the dust blows from the desert floor as the clouds are ready to burst with rain. In the distance max walks to his foreign human master in a small town, with pony slaves and other human masters. seeing the small town in through the fog, Max already notices his master wants something he wasn't able to retrieve. The golden Vase, returning home limping his tired hooves through the dirt with his black collar and his trashy white outfit. Maxwell Finally enters his masters hut. "Hello Max" the tall human master says sitting on his throne with the black cane in his hand, as he takes his shoes off to sit in front of the fireplace in comfort. Maxwell then lays by his masters throne. "hello Master" Max replies in a tired voice. Along comes Derpy running inside the hut excited to talk to the same master. "Master!" "Master!" Look I have gathered all the vases in front of your hut.

"Very Good Derpy, for that you shall be rewarded, what will it be this time, a nice cup of tea, a soda?" The Master says in a calm tone. "Only a coin from you, my lord" Derpy says holding out her hooves to receive a golden coin. without another word, the human master pulls out his bag and reaches inside to gave Derpy her reward. "thanks master" Derpy says in a shy tone, as sits by her masters side by the throne. "as for you max..." Master says looking on the opposite side of the throne to look at Maxwell.  "yes sir?" Maxwell says standing back up on four hooves. " You haven't Completed your task, therefore you will be punished, guards! take him and tie him the pole! Now!" The Human master says pointing at Max. As Max stares at the guards approaching him, the guards suddenly grab both of his hooves and escort him outside the hut and not to far out to the desert to have his body tied hanging on a wooden pole that is stuck in the ground. Maxwell then says nothing but sighs and looks to the side of him still seeing fog and a dead tree. A hour later Max then is released and is taken back inside the hut only for Maxwell To see Derpy Hooves, Hooves chained to the floor in the corner of his room. "Come Max, I Have Another task for you!" Maxwell's human master calls. Max Then Races to him. "yes sir?" Max says ready to accept the task.

"i'm hoping you will do this task right this time and you and your buddy Derpy can fix this right, i have a package for you to deliver, It contains spice for a friend across town, i was sent to give it to him this morning, sure you will be able to take it to him" The human slave master says staring down at Maxwell and then at Derpy. "yes sir" Maxwell says nodding his head. "Derpy will deliver a different package on the opposite side, I want you two to walk in this hut together when this is done, do I make myself clear". "Yes Master!" Both Maxwell and Derpy say giving a salute to him. With a moment of silence the master hands out the two white packages. "go now, the hour is getting late!" The Human Master Demands as the two pony slaves rush out the hut to send the packages. A few Minutes later after the packages have been delivered, Derpy runs into Maxwell. "Come on or Master will be upset." Derpy says looking down at Maxwell from a stone railing. Without another word both slave ponies race and parkour through the village to return to the hut just in time hitting night. "It's been done master!" both slave ponies say at the same time standing blankly in front of the human Master. "Good, come closer you two" The human Master says reaching into his bag of mystery rich items.

Handing out both golden coins to both Maxwell and Derpy. "Thanks Master" both of the slave ponies says holding on the coins staring at them. "Now these aren't just normal coins, one coin is big on the market, go now and buy some food and maybe a gift for you." The Master says rising his cane, meaning to dismiss the two pony slaves. Excited, Maxwell and Derpy Both head first the get a sandwich from the shop nearby and alongside with muffins. After enjoying a great sandwich the two rush over to get golden lashes and rush back to their master. "you are back, just in time" The human masters says once again with a smile. "it's bed time, Derpy you know where to go." The master says looking at Derpy.  "yes sir" Derpy says walking slowly into a room with a cell cage door laying on a bed of hay to sleep. The human master then closes the door making a rusty swing noise and locks the door with a key. "as for you max, your bed is in the corner on that pile of hay. "yes sir" Max says as he lays down on the corner of the room on his bed of hay. "now get some sleep you two there are important things tomorrow.
