Luna watch as  Celestia walk around a round table of ponies, griffons, Minotaur, zebras, monkeys, horses, bulls, and dogs explaining how equestria plans to aid them in their problems, Luna sign as Celestia went on talking of trade cut backs and weather supple, Luna just turn her back to the matter to watch Canterlot while her she talk on. Walking out on the balcony of the tower that overlook the city she peer through a telescope, watching  the land of Equestria as the light of sun brought the rainbow that shine throughout the land, while nothing much happen in the day Luna still prefer action to words  when it came to defending her subjects.

Celestia turn her attraction to the zebra king, hen, he was very physical fit for a man of fifth; with bushy hair he wore black clothes with glasses to match. “King Hen it seems that trade with your regime has halted, I seems that your shipments of coal haven’t come.”

“Goddess Celestia, we are sorry but we cannot send the shipment of coal this month because of rebel groups blocking the mines, we been having trouble a trouble with other tribes and rebels for a while now but we have plan to deal with them by the time of next month.” The zebra king hen said in an eager voice, putting a hoof into his pocket he pull out a map with red spots label enemy camps on it” we plan to send some of our best black witches to deal with them, along with some griffin talons the problem should be destroy.”

Celestia walk over to the king “king hen, that wouldn’t be a problem, we have other more renewable resources than cola but I can’t not prove of this course of action”. Celestia stop pasting to stand above the king. “If I can recall these other zebra tribes have been attacking trade cravens with food and health supplies, these tribes if I wrong are zebra that had their land taken by monsters, rebel groups, and your country’s mining operation, I am right.”

“Yes they’d just attack trade but still it’s preventing us from getting to the mine, this is an act of war.” He look up at Celestia with his dark glasses.

“Well I found a way to remedy that situation.” The king tried to speak but Celestia cut him off. “that’s why I have sent 2 elite units to deal with the monsters, I have also sent a few of Equestria’s best doctors along with over 300 pounds of gain and sugar for them, as for the rebels I heard that they are workers and people tried of your regimes rule, and want a place where they can practices their beliefs and magic without ban, I am right.”  The king said nothing. .” That’s why I’ve given them free land in the west equestrian mountains, where they can practices their beliefs, the land belong to an old mining town but now it should help them adjust to life in equestrian.” Luna’s ears perks at this. She didn’t discuss this with her.

King hen lowers his glasses. “Goddess this is all nice but we have the station under control, you don’t have to go these links to keep peace in zebra lands, I mean yes war is a bite far but just giving all these terrorist a free pass seems a bite much you think.” Celestia frown, she turns toward the map.

“I’ve already ask both groups to stop attacking you if we aid them, they’ve agreed that that it would be in their interest to accept our help, if you agreed to leave them in peace, will you?” Celestia turn to the zebra king raising an eyebrow. The king went speechless, surly not accepting this offer would make him look like a fool.

“Fine, yes we will leave the rebel groups alone, but as along as are mining operations can continue.” Celestia smiled.

“Thank you; this agreed will help solve the problem without conflict.” Celestia walk back to her thrown, setting she rise her head to the gathering. “I believe that conclude everything for today, now their servicing chocolate cake down in the bakery.” The pony enterprisers of Dise, Walker got up from his chair, being a grey earth pony raised his hoof.

“I hate to continue this meeting but there is still the problem of the Minotaur’s raids into the lands of Dise, they’ve already wipe out a two towns, we plan to launch a full scale attack if they don’t pay back subsides for what they done, and give up to the NAR.” The Minotaur leader got up from his chair, and pointed a figure at the president.

“you’d raise prices of the river you stole from us along with the ferrite land we used for food,  then you make us paid to use it, my people are dying and you hog the things we need to live.” He smashes his fits on the table. Celestia sigh she hoped that this meeting would be a friendly one. The president got up from his chair and pointed a hoof at the general. “You don’t you excuse me of thief you overgrown bull.”

“ENOUGH!” Celestia rose from her thrown putting a hoof on the table.  “We will give the Minotaur free use of our river running through the south badlands, and free food supplies if they stop attacking Dise.” The Minotaur general seat back in his chair. “Thank you goddess Celestia, it’s nice to know not all ponies are as barbaric as Dise.”

Walker turn his attention to Celestia, being from the land of Dise, a intendant state run by enterprisers, he hate the fact that Celestia always had the final world in everything, she had been trying to get Dise to join her country for years but they would hear nothing, but still it feel like she still control them. “What’s your game Celestia, you would help these barbaric monsters after everything they’ve done, why are you trying to help anyone with their problems, you contently get involve in every policies decision in every country around Equestria, we in Dise can handle our own problems without you giving aid to our enemies, unless you’re  trying to…”

Celestia’s voice boom, cutting him off, and causing him to fall. “ENOUGH!” the Minotaur general seat back in his seat, the other attendants wince at the display.” A I’ve told before president walker, I help whoever I can, the Minotaur simply because I want to, as long as there are people who need my help and their own government fails, I will try my best to help, as long as good people live under my sun I will protect them, regales if they live in my borders or not.” Celestia turn from the table and began walking to the baloney, but before she left she turn her head with a displeasing face. “Let that be the end of it, meeting over.” And with that the leaders began leaving, whispers behind her, Celestia walk back to her throne, and seat down sighing at display of foolishness, but at least now she could rest.

Later that day, in Celestia’s throne room, during the middle of the light sun from the glare through the stair glass windows, shining on the scrolls Celestia’s was writing and bouncing off her bright colored maid, the quite atmosphere made doing diplomatic treaties easer for her that was until Luna came through one of the baloneys. Luna walk up to Celestria with of importance on her, what could it now Celestia through turning to look up from her work. “Tia I must talk to you about something.” Luna said in an eager voice.

Celestia put down the scroll, and walk up to Luna; sure it had to be something important. “What is it Woona.” Luna glare at her, oh how she hated that name, if anyone ever but Celestia utter it!” will you please not call me that, I’m a grown mare now not a filly.” Celestia just smile. “You call yourself whatever you wanted Woona.” Luna’s glares harden. “But in close doors your Woona to me.” Luna rolled her eyes. “Fine, but this matter is important.”

Celestia smile.” So what’s the problem?” Luna her lower glare.” Want to talk to you about this allowing zebras rebels on our lands.”

Celestia sigh, after everything that’s happen today she did not feel like dealing with this. “What’s the problem Luna?”

“Sister I do not believe handing our lands over to terrorist is a wise decision, nor is giving free water to the Minotaurs. Just freely giving supplies away to anyone hoping to aid them without deciding if they deserve it is, well foolish.” Celestia frown. “So what would you have me do leave them to their fates.” “yes this isn’t a equestrian problem, don’t make it trying to be supermare Tia.” Celestia began walking to the stair glass windows that made up the walls of the room, moving to the glass of twilight and her friends defeating Luna.

She sighs, hanging her head low. “Luna do you believe I’m a goddess.” She said in a clam collective voice.

Luna raises an eyebrow at the question. “what type of question is that, while I while do not believe me and you are divide, we do forever protect equestrian from evil, and keep harmony in it.”

“We also guide the sun and moon, and are immortal beings are we not.” Celestia turn her head to Luna, with a face of disappointment. “We keep harmony in not only equestrian, but the world. We maintain balance with the sun and the moon, our power keeps the world at peace right.” Luna was confuse, what was the point she was getting at. “Yes you and I do guide the moon and sun, and we do keep balance, but for the most part only for Equestria. The rest of the world keeps its own balance.”

“Okay then tells me what does the sun and the moon do.”

“Well the sun lights our world and the moon watches it at night.” Celestia smile while Luna frowns. “Sister please don’t use us as counterparts to our elements.”

“But we are, our job is to keep balance in this world, your job is to watch the world while it sleeps and fights things that live in darkness, and I shield and protect all who live under the light of the sun, and as long as it shines on all who live under it, I will protect them. That is the way of the sun.”

Luna looks at her sister confused, where was she getting these ideas. “She what is up with you lately, you been giving free passes to people who don’t deserve it.” Luna raises a hoof pointed to stair glass picture of discord. “You let discord go, you don’t punish twilight when she use a want it need it spell, which is highly illegal, you wouldn’t let me go deal with king Somber or troops to the crystal empire, instead sending twilight and her friends alone to deal with Somber,  you go out of your way help griffin colonies by paid thousands of bites in fuel and weapons, then you give free land to zebra terrorist and free water to Barbarian Minotaur, and now here you talking about how it’s your job to protect everyone in the world.” Celestis smile. “Well I am the chosen one.”

Luna frowned, she face hoof shaking her head. “Not that lightbringer mess again, star swirl and the old masters just filled your head with that.” Celestia went on smiling, turning back to the picture of twilight, the light from the sun glaring on her face. “Well I’ve have made the world a peaceful place, Luna l create a country! No a world of peace.” Her voice became heavier. “I’ve created a world where people have live without knowing the horrors of war, where child aren’t orphan by war, the state, or their parents, were the values of friendship and virtue is important.”

Celestia turn back to Luna, a serious look on her face. “Really, if I ‘m not chosen how do you explain that.” Luna sighed, hanging her low. “Yes I do see that you have kept peace in the kingdom and to a greater indexed the world, but you alone did not create that.” Celestia just smile. “True I had help, you, sword mare, star swirl, the unicorn queen, all the old masters, help me, without all of you I wouldn’t have been able to clean the land of the forces of darkness.” Celestia turn back to the glass picture. “All of us together rid the world of that evil, we change unfair political systems, overthrown dark lords, defeated the dark alicron and her armies, and help build Equestria.”

Celestia turn back to the glass, staring at the picture of twilight, Celestia pride in what she had created a warrior of virtue. “But I go out of my way to keep the world in peace, and it has worked.”

“I built equestria on the values of friendship, virtue, and harmony, and for a thousand years those same values have kept peace in this world, and made it a better place, don’t believe look at the pegasi, before they were just colonies fighting for power and land, now that I have united them their a super power, l’ve kept the tribes of zebra lands from fighting one another, help the griffins defend their people from those that would cause them harm.” Celestia laugh. “Equestria is even better, look at twilight and her friends, the value of friendship show in them, they have become great heroes, even greater than Swordmare.” Luna smile, almost laughing at the reposed. “Yes, I will ament their great heroes, but their even close to the level to the level of Sword mare.” Sword mare was ponykind and the world’s greatest hero, she had defeated many foes that was consider impossible even the great demon Grogar, and she was a earth pony, to even imply that anyone especially the mane six were on her level was just ridiculous .

“now sister that’s just silly.”Celestia pointed at Luna “Luna come with me, I want to show you something.” Luna walk up to Celestia, Celestia’s horn glowed as a field of light covers them.

They both appear in a realm of blue light; square shape boxes fled around the area each a past event of Equestria, Celestia took flight, going to a box that showed Fluttershy’s cottage, the scene was of a dinner party with all of twilight’s friends and discord about to eat. “What’s this about.”

Celestia turn to Luna. “This is when release Discord into fluttershy’s care, I want you to watch and learn.” The image started playing, all of them seat down to eat, but as always Discord started doing what he does best, the table wear started dancing, entertaining the mane six but rainbow dash inset that it was a trick, a cup spited on rainbow’s lap, the tea pot started spiting in applejack, twilight, spike, and Rarity‘s face, Rainbow Dash began blaming Discord, pointing a hoof at him. “Fluttershy! Can't you see what he's doing? He's playing innocent with you so you'll never agree to use the Elements of Harmony against him!

Fluttershy got up, putting herself in front of Discord and the rest of her angry guest. “You know what I see? I see that Discord's far from perfect, but I also see none of you giving him a chance!” “What’s gotten into you?! Why do you keep cutting him so much slack?” “Because that's what friends do.” Flutter proclaim in an honest voice, Luna just whinny at the display, Fluttershy put too much trust in someone like Discord. Believing someone like that even deserve friendship, Celestia just gave a disapproving frown and point her back to the screen.

“We're friends?” said Discord, unbelieving someone in his life would even say that. “Why, of course! I can't remember my house ever being this lively before you came along”  Fluttershy smile sentry at him. “Oh... Well, I've... never really had a friend before” “Well, now you do!” Luna just look at Celestia, a bit of disappoint in the display.

“How, does this prove your point?” “Continued watching, let’s just switch to a bite farer.” Celestia move the screen away with a hoof, and brought up another with her magic, the scene played, it was of Sweet Apple Acres being flooded, the nearby river being block Beavers. “More of Discord tricks.” Celestia shush Luna, Fluttershy tried talking with the animals to no anvil, Discord show just in time. “Fluttershy, oh, there you are. A sight for sore eyes.” Discord smilk at her. “As you can see, there's a big mess down here at Sweet Apple Acres.” Fluttershy pointed at the lake consuming the apple trees. “Oh, yes. Awful business, that. Mm.” “It is awful. This is Applejack's home, and it's being destroyed by innocent creatures who would never be acting this way if it weren't for your reckless behavior. You need to fix this.” “Oh, yes, very well, I will fix it. I only ask one thing in return.” Fluttershy winy a bite. “Yes?”

“I ask that you never use your Element of Harmony against me. As a sign of our friendship.” “I will never use my Element of Harmony against you.” She remove the gem necklet from around her neck. Giving it to spike for safe keeping. “Excellent!” Discord snap his figure turning the lake into a field of ice.

He began sacking on the ice, doing tricks as a row of Himself cheer him on. “There, much better! I do prefer ice skating to water skiing! Don't you?” Fluttershy became in rage, how had he’d betray her trust. “Discord! That's not fixing it! Why, I oughta...” “Where are you going? What's wrong, pal?” “Don't call me your pal!” he appeared right next to her with a pair of skates. “Oh, pfft, come skating with me, and we'll let bygones be bygones.”

Spike tried to hand Fluttershy her element, while the rest treat to turn Discord to stone if he didn’t return Sweet Apple Acres to Normal, Fluttershy just refused. “I made a promise not to use my element against him, and I'm going to keep it.”  Luna signed at this, what fool Fluttershy was, putting this much trust even after Discord betrayed her, Luna stop the image. “Sister, I fail to see how this proves your point, all I see is putting hope in those who don’t deserve it, gets you nothing.” “Must you be so rushie. That’s a reason freed Discord Sister, anyone can change if a friend will give them a chance.” Celestia explain in a eained voice.

The scene played on, Discord laughing at the display, he snaps his figures and a pair of skates appear in Fluttershy.  “Hahah! You see? She wants to have fun with me because we're friends. She can't use the elements against me because we're friends. I'm free forever!” “Not. Your. Friend” in a rage Fluttershy though the skates across the ice and began walking off, Discord turn to her almost not caring.

“Who cares? I can do whatever I want, whenever I want. I'm Discord, the master of chaos! You think you can boss Discord around? You think I'm just going to turn all this back because you say so? Because if I don't, I'll lose the one friend I ever had?” He pause, realizing thing had just lost, the only friend he had in his life, the only person who trust him. “Oh. Oh. Well played, Fluttershy. Well played.”

With a snap of his figure the entire ice sheet was turn back to an apple forest. The rest of the mane six cheer for Fluttershy. “I liked it better my way, but... I guess when you're friends; you can't always have things exactly your way all the time, eh?”

Celestia, just smile, how had she been right. “You see, when you put the values of friendship above all else, showing those values to anyone can help them, change, make the world a better place for everyone, people like Discord are even wilily to change their ways just to have to show them kindness.”

Celestia moved the image away from her, she turn to Luna, Luna just hump, yes Celestia had been right to some extent, showing kindness and trust in people could help in the end. “Yes, your right to extent, but it’s foolish to fully trust someone like that.” “Yes, that’s why I left the Elements of Harmony with twilight, but Discord is showing signs of improving, and it’s nice that he has a friend through, but showing forgiveness is also a virtue, I remember a certain nightmare that no one trusted.”

Luna stoop back, took back by the statement, then hang her head low. “You don’t have to show forgiveness to me, I don’t deserve it.” Celestia walk up and place a wing around her. “no, but I put my hope in you, twilight put her hope in you, and now people try to accept you, the value of friends can help you, I will help you, that’s what a goddess does helps people as long their under her light.”

Luna began crying a bit; Celestia raised her face to her with a hoof. “Now com on we have other things to do, I need get back to signing that scroll.” a field light covered them, and in a instead they were gone.
