Morning
A yellow unicorn mare awoke to a clatter. She rolled out of bed and realized she had punched the alarm clock again. The clock had froze on 7:58. "Crud!" thought the unicorn. "I'm gonna be late!" She quickly started heating some water for tea, and rushed to the bathroom. Her two-tone brown black-tipped mane was... messy, to say the least. She quickly brushed down her mane and washed her face. The kettle started whistling, and she let her Lady Grey tea steep while she made a PB&J. She practically inhaled her sandwich and tea and brushed her teeth before rushing out the door.
She made it to the newly built library just in time. Her co-worker, Inspration, greeted her. She was a zebra-pegasus mix, with a gray coat, light blue stripes, and a navy blue and white striped mane. "Did you oversleep again?" she asked. "Yeah." Inksparks half-mumbled. She was still tired. "Do you know if those new books we ordered came in yet?" Inspration pulled out a box of various books. "Yep." she simply answered. "Great, then we can start shelving them, then." A few books became wrapped in Inksparks's pink magic. Inksparks took notice that these were all popular books while she was reshelving them. She also noted there was only one copy. She was about to grab an order form when she realized Inspration was already filling one out. Inksparks thanked her and finished shelving the books.
The first ponies came after Inksparks, Inspration, and the other library staff had finished reshelving. There were a few of the regular ponies that came every day, which included Princess Twilight Sparkle, so there were always a few Royal Guards around. Inksparks heard Cheerlie coming with her class, which wasn’t very suprising. Suddenly a colt in the class pointed to her and said “Hey, isn’t that Dubstep Thunder’s sister, Inksparks?” . “Crud” thought Inksparks.
