Fluttershy’s head swam with pain. Curious as to what happened, she glanced behind her and saw a tree branch on the ground, directly in the path she tried to land on.

Fluttershy sighed. “Oh…ummm ok.” She knew it was too late to run away now. “Is something wrong Flitter?” she asked trying to smile at the Light-green maned pegasus.
“Oh, it’s nothing, I’m just trying to get Cloudchaser here to try my newest cupcake, but she’s such a downer!” Flitter replied giving Cloudchaser a glare. as they landed on the ground.
“No offense, Flitter, but after your idea of putting eggs on pizza, I think I’m justified," Cloudchaser replied, sticking her nose in the air.
Flitter stuck her tongue out at her sister and turned back to Fluttershy. “Well since Cloudchaser is being such a brat about it, I think you should have it.” Flitter said holding the cupcake outwards with a genuine smile.
Fluttershy stared at the cupcake curiously. The frosting looked like whitish blue glass, almost the same color as Cloudchaser’s mane. Despite some of Flitter’s previous food related disasters, dessert was usually something ponies could count on her to do right. Pinkie even paid for the exclusive rights to make her coconut cream and almond frosting. While her nervousness would usually keep her from trying something so new and unusual, the pressure of the beaming smile of the pony behind the cupcake was too much for her. She couldn’t just say no. What if Flitter got mad or sad because she rejected the cupcake?
“Oh, well, umm, thanks. I’d love to try it out," Fluttershy said as she took the glassy cupcake into her own hooves. She saw Flitter’s eyes brighten and widen as she brought the cupcake to her mouth and took a small bite.
“Wha? Huh?” The yellow pegasus nearly dropped the cupcake in surprise. She could taste a sweet and almost tangy flavor on her tongue, but it didn’t feel like anything actually touched her tongue. She took another hesitant bite and was once again rewarded with the sweet flavor, but again, felt nothing on her tongue. The taste itself was almost like lime and blueberries, it was something she could truly say she had never tasted before. Satisfied with the taste, she started in on the rest of the cupcake taking large mouthfuls at a time and savoring the flavor of the unusual treat.
Flitter nudged her sister in the side. “See? I told you it was perfectly fine! Fluttershy seems to like it.”
“Mmmm, oh yes, I do, it tastes lovely,” The yellow pony pitched in. Even though she didn’t really feel anything on her tongue, she still felt the need to swallow the bites she pulled off with her teeth. Mere moments later, the cupcake was completely gone, bits of the frosting lingering on her hoof until she licked them off.
“That was lovely. You should see if Pinkie would make it. I’m sure everypony would love it.” Fluttershy enthused.
“Hah! See? I told you it’d be a big hit!” Flitter said sticking her tongue out towards Cloudchaser.
“Urrrp!” Fluttershy’s face turned a brilliant shade of red. “Oh dear! I’m so, so, sorry! That was awfully rude of me,” the pegasus apologized. She felt a bit of pressure on her back and flapped her wings to try and relieve it.
“Oh Celestia, Flitter, what’s happening to her wings?” Cloudchaser asked, pointing to Fluttershy.
Fluttershy glanced back at her wings and nearly fell over in shock. Her wings had swollen up like large feathery balloons on her back preventing them from even flapping correctly.
“Forget her wings, what's wrong with her belly?” Flitter asked.
Fluttershy shot a panicked glance below her and spotted her belly bloating outwards at a frightening pace towards the ground.

Flitter pushed her hooves away defensively, “They’re tiny berries! They can’t hold that much oxygen!” She said pointing towards Fluttershy, who was rapidly billowing outward into a sphere.
“They don’t hold much air unless you mix them with water! Then they collect a lot more air!”
“Oh… ummm, how much air are we talking here?” Flitter asked nervously.
“Like, a lot. I used to put a single berry into a balloon with some water when I was a filly and it would pop.”
“But I already mixed them with water! They should have already released all their air!”
“Not if you kept the frosting in the fridge. It’s the heat that makes them release it.”
“Like the heat in Fluttershy’s belly.” Flitter said bringing her hoof to her face.
“Ummm! Excuse me, Cloudchaser! You seem to know a lot about these berries, how big do you think I’ll get?” Fluttershy asked nervously.
Cloudchaser shook the grayish pegasus frantically, “Quick! How many berries did you use in that frosting?”
Flitter’s eyes went up as she counted to herself. “Uhhhhh maybe sixty? Eighty?”
Cloudchaser’s face paled. She ran over to Fluttershy’s bloating form and tried to get a grip on the billowing pegasus.
“Cloudchaser, what are you doing?” Flitter asked
“Help me get her into the clouds so we can hide her! When she’s done growing, even a blade of grass might pop her!”
