Tweedle,tweedle The birds tweeted as Celestia's sun rose and not but five minutes just as, Lyra was sitting right outside of Sugarcube Corner waiting for Pinkie to burst out saying," Open for everypony and everypony for open! " which didn't make any sense whatsoever to Lyra. But then again she was just being pinkie pie, so it didn't really matter to her. All that mattered to Lyra was getting the box of chocolates with that raspberry filling in the middle that Bonbon absolutely adored. Lyra blushed at the thought of the enormous smile that Bonbon would give her when she presented the giant heart box of chocolaty candies with raspberry filling inside. She wished that that vision could keep going forever..
"You OK there?" A familiar squeakish tone of voice came about Lyra's thoughts. Lyra snapped back into reality and stopped blushing to find a pink mare with even pinker poofy hair standing on the steps besides her looking straight at her. It was Pinkie Pie! The shop had finally open, but before just charging in, Lyra looked at Pinkie and saw a face of worry, confusion, and curiosity amongst her.
"I'm fine, really. Just got lost in thought.", Lyra said with a giant reassuring smile.
"Well I guess you're lucky I found you then", Pinkie responded with an uncontrollable giggle in her voice, then trotted back into the shop still with a smile mumbling under her breath something about a silly filly. Just then Pinkie pie shot her head out,"Oh yeah I almost forgot. OPEN FOR EVERYPONY AND EVERYPONY FOR OPEN!!", she shouted practically to the whole world. Then she turned around with a content smile upon her face as if proud of what she had done, then once again trotted back off into the shop happy as could be.
Lyra trying to regain her hearing back in her left ear, also had eyes that looked like googly eyes that had been shaken not too long ago. She decided that it would be best to just keep going onwards with her day, so Lyra went inside after Pinkie. She went to the counter were the energetic pink pony was standing behind." I'll get the usual Chocarazberry delight kit. Heart shaped please. The entire kit this time, except for the ' to,from' card. I want it to say,'from your very special friend, Lyra'."
"Did you finally get a very special somepony?"
Lyra's cheeks had turned bright blazing red, "N-n no! Me and BonnyBon, just happen to be really, really,.. really good friends.", Lyra said, struggling with the last word. As soon as the pink earthpony set down the box on the counter, Lyra immediately stuffed the bits into the bitregister, grabbed the heart box with her magic, then tried to get out out of that place as fast as she ponilly could. Her face still in a worried position as if somepony was going to find out about her, and her whole face in a complete bright red blush.

Lyra had already told Bonbon to meet her by the edge of White tail Woods at noon. It was spring and that's when the White tail trees bloom their cotton soft, sweet butterfly milk tasting flowers. They were a softish pink with a baby blue sky mixture. It was the perfect setting for the perfect romantic surprise gift. Lyra had looked what time it was on the golden watch her BonnyBon gave her on her tenth birthday. Lyra looked at the watch time which said 11:56 am. After looking at the time, she held it close to her heart, as if trying to comfort a filly by the beating of her chest. She had taken a deep breath, then went to a flashback of her tenth birthday.
Lyra had finally figured out how she felt for Bonbon, and decided to tell her in secret because she didn't know if it was "normal" to feel the way she felt for her BonnyBon. So she decided to write it on a card on her birthday. Of course no one would notice, it was her birthday and she could do whatever she pleased.. As long as she took responsibility for whatever that thing was, that is. And still to this day she takes full responsibility on which had happened on that fateful day. She had slid an upsidedown card to Bonbon, and looked up at the ceiling as if nothing had happened just then. Bonbon took the card and flipped it over. And the card and read, "I 
U BonnyBon!", Bonbon blushed a little, still looking stunned. Lyra had saw this face and her heart sank, she turned her head to the floor. And just as Lyra was getting up about to walk away in sadness, Bonbon chucked onto Lyra in a big hug, and shouted out as if she were really shouting from the mountain tops,"I Love You Too, Lyra!!", but Lyra just thought it was in a joking tone of manner. So she just acted like it was a joke aswell, never really being able to get her feelings out...
"lyra... Lyra..,LYRA!" Bonbon yelled trying to snap Lyra back into reality. Finally Lyra did snap back. "Did you literally get lost in space there?",Bonbon questioned jokingly.Lyra smiled weakly, then immediately noticed the saggy yet graceful lilac bow that was upon tied up unto her BonnyBon's neck.
" That bow.. I gave you that bow on my tenth birthday after the sleepover. I thought you had thrown it away.", Lyra said weakly as if questioning her own thoughts.
"I would never! Besides, it was beautiful then and it's beautiful now."
"Well I think it looks most beautiful on you", Lyra said sweetley but was not fully thinking that statement through, and so she slightly blushed.
" Oh Lyra, your being too kind as a friend!",Bonbon said with a giggle at the end of her sentence.Right. Just a friend and nothing more.. But then why do I feel like it's so much more?The question rung through Lyra's head.
"Those chocolates to eat or just sit there and look pretty?", Bonbon asked. Lyra blushed a full on bright cherry red.
" O-oh right. I was suppose to give you these., "she gives Bonbon the heart shaped box of raspberry filled chocolates. But she feels that the sweets aren't enough for her BonnyBon, so she uses her magic to shake the trees up. Suddenly a soft and beautiful wave of nonstop blooming flowers came about their little seen. Right then Lyra wanted to go for it, she wanted to kiss her, she wanted to let her BonnyBon know how she really felt about her.. But she didn't. She just stood there admiring how gorgeous Bonbon looked under the shower of pedals and flowers. But before Lyra's mind took her into another world .. She made an excuse.
"I forgot something, I won't be able to come back here today, I'm so sorry. I promise we'll spend more time together tomorrow!", Lyra said or rather yelled as she galloped away as fast she could. Bonbon looked at what the tag said attached to the box after all the pedals and Lyra were gone, and she read," Lyra loves you with all her heart, she's just too scared to admit it. Please show the compassion that she needs in order to through this. I know you have that compassion because I know you felt the same way about her a long time ago, but she still feels that way. Just something to think about,Pinkie Pie."
Bonbon sat there on the ground with her hooves to her eyes, and for the first time since she was ten, she sobbed.
