Twilight Sparkle is held captive by [spoiler]Blue Moon[/spoiler], the mad leader of the Cult of Queen Chrysalis, and the ceremony he is hosting to bring her back is cut off by Luna. The ceremony, however, gives birth to a half changeling/pony who Twilight finds in the woods and adopts. Spike is concerned by the pony, as Twilight and the changeling figure out the creature's origins; but first, they try to get her to live like a normal pony and get rid of her changeling side.
