After a day of spreading chaos across Equestria Discord, Moonlight, and her friends are sent into another world. Star Dim, Crazed Candy, Chocolate Pie, Discorded Swirls, and Cotton Feathers cannot find their families; Moonlight then discovers something shocking. Discord has betrayed her and has set Luna and Celestia free! Desperately, Moonlight searches for a way to get Discord back. A Unicorn named Eternal Rays tells her that she has captured the real Discord and that she will send her, Discord, and her friends back to their world only if they play her game. Moonlight and her friends agree, and they are sent into a giant labyrinth, where they will have to face their greatest weaknesses. One by one they are captured by Eternal Rays until Moonlight is the only one left. As the challenges get harder and harder Moonlight begins to fear that she may be stuck in the labyrinth forever and might never see Discord again.
