He slowly lowered his gaze from the stars to the city below him. Canterlot was what attracted his gaze. The great city was the capital of Equestira. He could see a castle made of gold and marble imbedded on the side of a mountain on the other side of the great city. He stared at the castle of a dizzying size for what seemed like hours. He then deployed his black feathery wings. He took one more look at the castle before he jumped off the cliff before him. His wings allowed him to easily glide over the large city. Below some ponies looked up to see a dark figure glide over them. Those who saw him were greatly startled, for the figure was to big to be a pony and to small for a drake. The mysterious figure landed in one of many allies of the city. He gingerly started to walk to the end of the ally, he felt something was amiss. " Hey buddy whats the rush?" stated a dark grey stallion as he slowly walked out from his hiding place behind a dumpster. The stallion was an earth pony. " This is my ally, your trespassing," he taunted as a smirk spread across his face, " if you want to leave unharmed I suggest you give me all the money you got." The dark grey stallion's smirk got bigger. The smirking stallion had no fear of the dark figure easily twice as big as he. This interested the bigger of the two, he then raised his brow in a quizzical look. " I'll take your silence as means to that you won't cooperate." Then, out of nowhere, five more stallions appeared. The dark grey earth pony's smirk turned in to a twisted smile. " Well, I guess we will have to beat it out of you." Nowhere to run. A different earth pony blocked the exit behind him. There was a unicorn to his left and another unicorn to his right. Then there were two pegasus circling above. They were all males with good Muscular builds. The large dark pony that appeared to be a pegasus was unfazed. In fact, he smirked ever so slightly. This unnerved the dark grey earth pony standing in front of him who appeared to be the leader. He then decided to mentally shrug it off. " Get him boys!" shouted the leader of the group. The earth pony behind the tall figure rushed toward him. The pegasuses above dived down and the unicorns charged their magic. The leader of the group smirked because he was sure he was going to teach this trespasser a lesson, maybe kill him if he wanted to. The large figure just stood there, his eyes then glowed an unnatural silver. From the figure came a shock wave that knocked out and blew away all but the leader who stood their stunned. Not wanting to be the next to get hit, he fled from the ally. The tall dark figure merely walked out the ally. He pushed back his cosmic magically waving mane to reveal a very long horn which would make him an alicorn. He was no prince even though the only other four alicorns in  existence were princesses. He then proceeded walking. He made his way to a local diner. He didn't pay attention to the sign. He then walked into the building. A waitress unicorn walked over to the towering figure, she surprised to see that he was an alicorn. " Hello!" said the waitress. The tall figure looked down at the smiling pony. " Will you please follow me and I will seat you," said the waitress. The towering figure nodded in compliance. The waitress proceeded to turn around and lead him to a table with a view that was of the street outside. He took his seat as the waitress hoofed him a menu and left. He sat there quietly looking over the menu. He stole a glance at a clock hanging on the other side of the room. It read 8:30. He thought to himself ' I didn't know it was that late at night' his thoughts interrupted by a different waitress then the one before. She was a white pegasus. " Welcome to Velvets Diner and Bar I'll be you waitress, I'm sunny, may I start you off with something to drink?" she said. He could tell she was nervose  serving a alicorn. " Umm, yes please, could I get some tea?" stated the tall figure, who siting down was still taller then her. His voice was nowhere as deep as she suspected it to be. " Ok, I'll be back in a sec, could I get a name?" Her curiosity peaked for she had never seen him before. He politely replied, " My name is Galaxy." He then gave a small smile. She replied, " It's a pleasure to meet you." She then walked away to go get his tea. He saw a news paper on a rack a few feet away from him. He levitated one of the news papers over for him to read because he was growing weary of waiting. The waitress then came back with his tea. " Are you ready to order Mr. Galaxy?" She asked. " Yes could I have the veggie burger and hay fries please?" said Galaxy. She nodded and went off to tell the chef what he wanted. He then drew his attention back to the news paper. There was nothing to interesting in most of it. Then he noticed one add on it. It said ( Princess Celestia looking for coltfriend. She is holding meeting about it June 10, for all colts interested meet her in the castle at the date given at 10 AM sharp.) Galaxy then set the paper down and thought about it. He didn't currently have a marefriend and he did get rather lonely for he had no friends after moving to Equestria. Maybe he should give it a shot, things might just go his way. The waitress came back and gave him his food. He sat there quietly eating while he thought about the add some more. ' I don't have a tux so I'll have to find one, though I am much larger then normal ponies. I'll have to go to a taylor.' Sunny came back and hoofed him the check. He then asked, " Do you by chance now any good taylors?" Sunny nodded her head and replied, " Yeah, there is a really good taylor in Ponyville, her name is Rarity, she did an amazing job for my sister." " Thank you," he replied. He then payed for his meal and went on his way.' I have till next week to get a tux and come up with a date' he thought.' Should be plenty of time.' He thought. His next stop was Ponyville. The train ride was long and tedious. He tried to sleep to pass the time even though he didn't need it. He looked at his reflection in the window. He had a midnight black fur coat. His mane and tale looked like the cosmos was woven into it. His eyes were also cosmic, when you looked at them it felt like looking at the night sky and that his eyes could see your very soul. Yet, at the same time they provided comfort. The train came to a screeching halt. He slowly got up from his seat and exited the train. He walked from the train station platform toward the town of Ponyville. It was a decent sized town only about a hour train ride from Canterlot. He passed a number of nice looking buildings. He looked to his right to see a large tree that had a sign on it that read: Golden Oak Library. Galaxy made a mental note to go by there later to pick up a book on proper behavior in front of a princess. He did not want too offend the sun goddess by acident. He looked to his left while he was walking and saw a building made of what appeared to be sweets. He then noticed a open sign on the front. He then realized it must be some kind of restaurant or buisness. His curiosity got the best of him and he decided to go check it out. He used his magic to open the door and went inside. It was a simple little shop. There were a few tables to sit at and on the other side of the room was a counter with cakes, muffins, cookies, and many other desserts on display. There was also a cash register with a tan colt manning it. He stood there with a big smile on his face once he saw the new pony come in. Galaxy felt a bit awkward when the tan colt who was an earth pony look at him. He slowly walked over to the counter with the smiling earth pony behind it. " Welcome to Sugar Cube Corner, what can I do ya for?" The tan earth pony then eyed him more quizzically making Galaxy feel more nervose. " I've never seen you in Ponyville before now that I think about it." " Yeah, I just got here and I'm kinda just looking around." said Galaxy with the upmost truth in his voice. The stallion then gave a worried look. He leaned in real close to Galaxy and whispered, " Since your new to Ponyville you might want to watch out for... *gulp* Pinke." Out of nowhere Galaxy heard a female voice right next to him say, " Why?!? You silly!" the pink mare next him exclaimed. She only startled Galaxy with her sudden presence but the stallion on the other side of the counter nearly had a heart attack. " Pinkie!!! Uhhh, no reason! No reason at all. " " Ok!" replied the pink mare who Galaxy assumed to be Pinkie. The pink earth pony then turned to Galaxy who was a bit confused. " Hi! My name is Pinkie! Ohhhh, are you new to Ponyville. I think you are since I've never seen you before which means I havetothrowyouapartyandinviteallofponyvilletoit!!!!!!!!!!!" The pink mare was speaking so fast he could barely understand her. Galaxy was thinking about she was still rambling on! She started to turn blue for she hadn't taken a breath in a while. " Exuse me Pinke you wouldn't happen to know Rarity? Would you?" He said politely even though he thought she wouldn't have heard it. Surprisingly though she heard him and started rambiling on about her. " Oh! You're looking for Rarity, yeah I know her. She runs the Carosel Botique. She is one of my best friends and she's an amazing taylor! Oh are you looking to get a tux so that way you look nice when you go your date with princess Celestia?" " Ummm, how did you know?" Galaxy asked obviously a little more then scared at the fact that all of her information was a hundred percent correct. " It's better if you just understand now that it's better to just not question Pinke." said the stallion behind the counter. Galaxy took his advice and just shrugged it of. " Hey Pinkie, you wouldn't happen to know where Rarity is do you?" Asked Galaxy.
