The tale of Ancient Discovery is a tale of a dark and painful past mixed with what might appear to be a hopeful future. This is a memoir of his more recent endeavors in Equestria. Sadly one can never truly escape from their past; they ether face it head on or hide in the shadows of sorrow. After wallowing in sorrow himself, Ancient Discovery now attempts to face his past by bring history that has never been seen any ponies in Equestria save for the Princesses. The historical texts he will bring to the outside world will show his errors in judgment, and the chaos of war, while also showing the part he played in it.
Will he be accepted or cast away?
Will he face his demons or allow them to destroy him?
