The rain dripped down to the earth, a thunderstorm was forming over Ponyville graveyard.
A orange filly sat on the graveyard, in front of her was two tomestones. The names was writen in golden letters, on the left it stood: 'here lies Applejuice Apple', Her mother. On the right ine it stood: 'here lies Hard Cider', Her father. The orange filly sat there her eyes closed, she felt like crying, but she could't. She sat there holding her fathers hat close to her body. She was freezing.
"Momma? Papa?" She asked out to nothing. "Ah miss ya..." She did't move she did't open her eyes, she just sat there waiting, waiting to see them again.
"Applejack?" A gentle old voice said behind her. Applejack looked behind her to see her grandmother standing there, once she saw who it was she turned back to the graves. "Applejack... Its time to go."
"No!" Applejack shouted. "ah dont want to!" She cried.
"Ah know ya miss em, but ya cant change the past." Granny smith said as she sat down beside Applejack.
"It was mah foult! It was me that went into the forest! It was ah the should have died!" She cried out not looking at Granny.
"It was't yer foult, how could it? It was timberwolves! Timberwolves are heartless, souless." Granny said as she pulled Applejack into a hug.
"Ah walked into tha forest! Ah killed em!" She cried, her hooves wrapped around Granny, her cold body felt warmer already.
"Ya did't kill em Applejack!" Granny shouted at her sorrowful grandoughter. "It was an terrible acident! It was nothing ya could have done"
Applejack was sitting in her grandmothers warm embrace, she cried, and cried, and cried. After some time with only crying. Applejack had fallen asleep in her grandmothers arms. Slowly Granny picked Applejack up in her hooves and carried her home.
Applejack slowly woke from her sleep, she was on her bed. The warm blanket covering her body. She sit up in her bed and look around. She is in her bedroom, she look around and find her favorite plush on the ground. A teddy bunny, it was white with brown dots on it. She react down to get it. Once she get it up, she hug it tight. With her bunny in her hooves she feel safe again, and slowly fall back to sleep, but this was no dream, this was a nightmare.
"Momma?" She said in her sleep.
Applejack ran, she ran as fast as her legs could carry her. What was she running from? A timberwolf! "Momma!" She cried. The timberwolf was right behind her, she tried to run faster. The timberwolf tried to bite her tail but missed."momma!" She cried again.
This time somepony or her parents must have heard her. Out of nowhere two ponies jumped over her. One tall strong build stallion with yellow coat and orange mane, and the other was a strong build mare, her coat was light green and her mane was bright red. They stood in front of the timberwolf. The timberwolf stopped and looked at the two ponies that stood between him and his lunch.
The two ponies looked at each other and nodded, the light green pony stepped over to Applejack, just then Applejack saw who the pony was. It was her mother, she hugged her tight. "Thank ya momma and papa!" She cried.
"Its okey Applejack" Applejuice said as she hugged her daughter. Meanwhile the huge stallion. Fought the timberwolf, it looked like he was winning, but no. Another pack of timberwolves came into wiew.
"Run!" He shouted to the girls. Applejack and Applejuice started to run, they ran toward the edge of the forest, but they stoped dead in their tracks as they heard a male scream in pain. Applejuice quickly took Applejack over to a fallen tree with a hole in it.
"Hide here" she said as she ran back to her husband. Applejack was hiding in the tree, she waited for her mother and father, but they never came. She waited and waited and waited. When she heard something walk outside the tree. She peeked out the hole, a large timberwolf stood there with a pony in its mouth, the pony was green. It was Applejuice! Applejack almost screamed out in terror, but she was stopped when another timberwolf came, that one had her father in its mouth. Applejack creeped back into her hiding spot, and cried quietly.
She cried, her tears woke her from her nightmare. "Momma!" She cried as she shot up from her bed. "Momma...papa..." She whispered as tears fell from her eyes. She could't do this. She slowly walked out of her room and walked down the hallway to Granny's room.
"Granny?" She whispered as she peeked inside. Nopony was up, she walked inside. "Granny?" She walked up to the green pony's bed and poked on the green hoof.
"Applejack? Why are ya doing up so late?" She asked and looked down at Applejack.
"Ah had a nightmare..." She muttered.
"Come here hun" she said with a smile as she lifted Applejack up in the bed. "Wanna talk bout it?"
"It was about... Momma and papa..." She sniffed as she felt more tears come.
Granny did't need to hear more. "Oh hun... It was only a nightmare."
"Ah...ah ah want it to stop!" She cried. " ah don't want to cry for momma anymore! Ah know she is gone!"
Granny did't say enything. She just hugged Applejack as she let her granddaughter cry out.
