Dear Diary,
Hello, my name is Sweet Melody. I live in Fuzzberry Orphanage near to the end of Ponyville. I believe that every pony is precious and unique and to show my respect to you I am going to write my deepest thoughts and regrets in here. It has been a long time since I saw them. I have never felt true love for anything ,but when I think about my family my heart begins to widen. I don't remember much except that they didn't want to leave me but it seemed like they had no choice. Everyone was so kind and caring once they passed but they now assume that I have forgotten everything..........but I haven't. The cutie mark crusaders are helping out by being carers to try and get their cutie marks. I was thinking of joining them. Anyway, the reason I got the diary is so I can tell the story of how my family......passed, just to get it off my chest without actually saying it.
Basically, my Mother, Father, sister Rarity, and I went out for a meal when I was a very young filly. We went to a restaurant in Ponyville called Spring's Muffin Brunch Restaurant for lunch. My Mother and Father went to go and order what we were having, leaving me and Rarity and the table, the restaurant was quite small but it never felt the size it was. Since I was only little I started to cry, saying I wanted Mother but Rarity didn't care she was only bothered about what she was going to wear at her friend Pinkie Pie's party. I started to scream so Mother trotted over and hugged me. Mother was a very good hugger and her hooves wear very soft , her name was Pearl Pages as she came from a long line of librarians. My Father's name was Blue Waves as his dad was a surfer. Father was very stubborn and often tripped while trotting. Rarity may sound like she was horrendous but she could be absolutely lovely at times, she would often go out with her best friends so I would not see her much. At the time, my life was seemed at its best but what I didn't see coming was the man.
