I was walking/flying down a street called Carnation when I saw a gold snowflake in a window I thought this was funny because I haven't seen a snowflake that looked like my family creast-a golden snowflake in a while. The next thing I did I'm still surprised at this now but I was walking into that shop. It was a quaint little shop jewelry here and there and jewelry kits everywhere else. "May I help you?" A woman asked me a couple minutes later "I saw my family creast in the window." I said "Ahh, that necklace I made that just before you found that portal leading here princess!" "Please don't call me princess. I'm not accustomed to that princess thing yet." "Do you know how I made that necklace?" "No. I don't think so." "Four years ago I enchanted a piece of gold and crafted it into a snowflake then I put it on a chain and put it on display to be sold. No one in your family has come since then." "My goodness!" I said to her "That is unfortunate luck." "I know. But on the bright side you came in!" She said cheerfully "Ok how about I sell it to you for six crystals." "Alright." I said to her but I handed her twelve "Are you sure?" she asked "I'm sure!" I said to her "Thank you!" she said before handling me the necklace.
At home I rushed to my room to have a moment to think about all that had happened that day. But mother walked in just as I sat on my four poster bed. Dressed in a teal and silver dress with sky blue heels and her crown with a gold snowflake in the center she walked into my room. "What is it Mother?" I asked "Kathline, we have found a portal in the west wing of the castle. You are to stay clear of it. Alright?" She said a look of concern on her face"Alright." I said just as my kitten Dawn stalked into the room. But I wasn't going to stay clear of it I knew I had to check it out.
So I did.
After mother left I waited until the clicking of heels faded before darting off to the west wing. I didn't know what would await me so I brought a pouch of pixie dust, my tiara, the necklace and some food.
When I got to the west wing (The Portal Wing as it is called by my subjects) I saw a bright swirling light in the shape of the sun and moon pulling things toward it. I heard Mothers clicking heels coming down the hall along with Father's thumping boots just as the portal started pulling me towards it then the door flew open and Mother was yelling something in ancient Crystelian that I didn't understand and I flew through the portal and everything went black.
