"What?"

Joe stepped back in disbelief.

"Yes, indeed... I believe there are problems that must be solved in the future," the prophet murmured.

"Okay, so all this government, democracy shit is real, eh?"

"Yes."

"And you're telling me to fix all of this."

"Yes."

"But, how do I-"

The prophet growled.

"All they need is help of a hero. Now go."

"I am not a damn hero," Joe sneered.

"No one can harness magic as well as you do. Your magic is more powerful than anypony in Equestria."

"I am not sure if it's safe to go against the magic of the future," Joe paused, and then continued "And I'm not sure if I actually can."

He sighed, and leaned against the wall. The prophet pleaded.

"I know it's frustrating, but you're the only one who can do this. Please go. Think about the suffering citizens, starving due to an irresponsible government-"

"On one condition. "

The prophet seemed to be surprised, and his eyes seemed to say 'That was easy.' Joe ignored his look.

"So.... when do I leave?"

".........today."

Joe's eyes widened.

"Open the portal," the prophet ordered. "I'm sorry this had to be a rush."

Joe closed his eyes. A light flickered on his head.

"No problem," he murmured dreamily.

Joe opened his eyes. The wooden ground started to break into pieces, and started swirling around him. His eyes glowed white, the same way Princess Twilight did centuries after. White flames surrounded him... and they exploded.

The prophet stared. As the wooden pieces slowed down, they suddenly dropped. Joe was still there. He shook his head.

"Failure," he coughed.

"Try again!" the prophet ordered. "Quickly! Your maximum time travel range will not reach to your destination if you don't hurry! Before it's too late, come on!"

Joe glared at him, annoyed, but he knew that he was desperate.

He tried again. He slowly closed his eyes.
