"Harmony" is a word once uttered in the long dead language of Ancient Equestrian. Ponies have grown up having never heard those three syllables. "Elements" are something only alchemists talk about. Clouds haven't been used to build great cities for centuries. Great spells and evils are things only seen in fantastical books.

All that's left is pettiness, cruelty, small magicks, and the six kingdoms.

For most ponies, this isn't a bad life. It's sickly, bitter, and usually short, but still community and family stands together. Even with the hardships, ponies live on.
