Jack never intended to call Equestria his home, but through a twist of fate he found himself in his new home. After a year of soul searching in this distant world, Jack has finally found something to work for, his purpose in life. Yet Jack's worse enemy threatens his future in this new world, himself.

Join Jack as he runs down the hallways of Canterlot Castle, on his way to start another night of guard duty. The bells chime as he is about to be late yet again. This night's activities will lead Jack to question his place as the only "ape" in the Guard. Yet perhaps, there is one bat pony who can help him reconsider his options?

Let us hope she can change his mind because little does anyone or anypony know, but Jack will be critical to Equstria's future at the hands of a very old and dangerous enemy.
