The world has changed. Equestria has continued to heal since the events of Fallout Equestria but is not yet whole. The land of Magic and friendship threatens to be torn apart as the greedy NCR consume more land then they can maintain.

Many smaller factions have survived in seclusion for many years despite the NCR's rapid expansion; one such faction was The Enclave Remnant at Redstone. Once The Crystal Empire had returned however, all sights were set north in a deadly race to the city. As every faction worth their weight in caps mobilized to retake the ancient city.

Crimson Ember a young pegasus mare must go beyond the frozen north to find The Empire, traveling where even the Gardens of Equestria could not reach. Along the way she will discover the true reason for The Empire's return and how the fate of the world may hang in the balance.
