Before the passing of the Foalstead Act the Apple Family owned the oldest and most profitable bar in Charming City. But then everything changed and they refused to adapted. The family were separated and the two eldest siblings Applejack and Big Mac were sent to prison. Now five years later they come home to a world where unscrupulous ponies capitalise on alcohols contraband status as a way to turn a profit.
At the same time a young small town filly comes to the city attempting to find her sister and becomes an acquaintance of the youngest Apple sibling, Apple Bloom. Meanwhile on the other side of the law former Equestrian Flying Corps Rainbow Dash joins Charming City's police force and moves to combat the mob particularly Golden "Carrot Top" Harvest and her Consigliere Derpy Hooves.

Note: This fic is completely separate of the shows canon. I just wanted to do a Prohibition gangster melodrama with ponies.
