I guess I'll Start With how it felt for me. I was one of the few lucky enough to survive outside of one of those Stables, but only because i couldn't get there in time, I had went to the Everfree forest, but after it was over, I left, Knowing that there was definitely no safety left in there. That's when I saw it. actually, I was the first to see it, The Equestrian Wasteland. I stared at it in complete shock. They told me it would be Way better conditions than this. I guess that's cause they thought they'd come out of the Stables with some sort of device that could restart the civilization. Something just told me that wasn't going to happen at all. I knew, that before me, Stood the greatest Challenge I've ever faced: Surviving off of nothing. there was a gentle silence as I thought about it, but it was broken when a Mutated Timberwolf came charging. "Oh...Crap!" I said, realizing I didn't get my sword when i retreated to Everfree. I quickly pulled out my sturdy bow, quickly loaded it with and arrow, and began the process of shooting the Mutated Timberwolf with arrows. When It fell over, I scavenged it and found a rusty steel sword. "Well, I've got a long road ahead of me," I said, Loading another arrow into the bow with one hoof and a wing and holding my new sword in my mouth, "Better make a list of what I should start with, If i can find a pencil and paper. Pursuits Of ScienceAfter dusting myself off, I looked up at the stable door, which was open. the open door looked like a gear in a factory, any factory with gears, really. Walking in, I dove right for the chance at some Electronic devices and looted the first dead guard for something without thinking. after looting, I found a Stable-tec device called a Pip-Buck, which apparently is a normal daily life helper meant for the wasteland, as normal as it can be, that is. everywhere inside was full with insane depictions of the 6 Element Bearers, ranging from to . however, there was a poster for something that could cure the wasteland, and it said that the device was in here! I excitedly searched room to room, but then I found one that was locked. Curious, I used Fido's tooth to pick the lock, and inside was that very device! I grabbed it, but then I heard footsteps down the hall. Both Fido and Cause attempted to spring into action, but I held them back, and we quickly slid into hiding, re-locking the room with Fido's tooth while inside to hide. I peeped through the window to see some Soldiers run past, but they looked hostile, so i stayed in hiding. finally, somebody unlocked the room and stepped in, and we sprung into actions, surprising the hostile soldier and quickly running toward the exit, dodging electric blast after electric blast. one got me in the hoof, and I then realized what they were meant to do: Paralyze. I simply picked that hoof up off the ground and continued running. I finally made it out the door, but it wasn't over yet. I flew out of the hole me and the timberwolves fell into, (they sprang up with their legs) and lay down next to the statue. after putting on the Pip-Buck and waiting for a minute, I fell asleep, relieved that i survived. Same As UsualAfter Waking, I found all my stuff intact, although I was in a different location and Fido and Cause were nowhere in sight, but soon ran up to me, stopped, and stared into the distance. I started trotting that way, knowing something was there. after trotting through the trail, I came across my sword from before the Disaster. Picking it up, I turned around and started running, expecting a trap. Sure enough, those same Soldiers popped out and started firing. I darted through the intense gunfire back to Fido and Cause, both barking at the soldiers, who in turn, retreated. We exchanged glances for a minute, but I broke the Silence. "Well, It's going to be the same as usual for us." I said, looking at the 2 timberwolves. "Let's Spend it saving the world, like before." and like that, we all took off, ready to return Equestria to what it was. The Legend RebornAfter Making the list, i reviewed it once or twice, than continued on my way. however, I turned around, toward Everfree forest, and convinced myself to go back in, as something is terribly wrong there. Although the forest had survived, it's inhabitants had either mutated or died a tragic death. I managed to find 2 friendly Mutated Timberwolves, whom I had started to call Fido and Cause before this all happened, and they were normal Timberwolf Cubs. I was in awe something made of Wood could survive a Nuclear Blast, or even Mutate to begin with, but they still remembered me and started to follow me down the path the 6 Bearers of the Elements had took years ago. all this had me thinking about how I survived, me, somepony who lived in exile her entire life avoiding Nightmare moon. regardless, I know that this has something to do With Mother's Backstory, as she overcame something like this herself, before she was found and killed by Nightmare moon. I continued to venture down the long, lonely path. when I came to a bridge that looked like it was not sturdy enough to support any of our weight, both Fido and Cause looked at me, nodded, and did a daring sprint across the bridge, both making it just in time. now, as I am a Pegasus, I can fly, so I quickly flew across the crevasse to the other side and joined both Fido and Cause. we turned our attention to the Castle, as we knew danger when we heard it. "This will be fun." I said pulling out the Rusty Sword and my Bow and Arrow. Fido looked at the bow and snarled, as if saying "You should really get rid of that soon. It won't do you much good fighting something stronger than you." but we all walked in anyways, stepping onto an unstable stone and falling into a hollowed out room in the dirt, and a open Stable door.
