I sat on my bed waiting for it to sink in. My phone sat on the bed beside me with the dreaded words shining bright across the screen. Then I was suddenly overcome with sadness that hit me like a wall of emotion. A single tear slid down my muzzle, leading the way for more to come. She broke up with me. I let out a sob and covered my face with my hooves. It had happened so suddenly. She was texting me about how she didn't feel my love anymore and said goodbye.
She was gone.
I loved her so much and already missed her cute smile and laugh that made my day. She was my everything and was the only pony who could bring me out of my shell. Even only seeing a picture of her had made me want to jump with joy. But those days where over.I wiped my face and smoothed back my mane. I picked up my phone with out looking at it and shut it off. I stood up and looked out the window and wondered if my life could get any worse. I opened the door and walked out, closing it behind me. I ran out side and opened my wings. I took of into the sky, leaving my troubles behind me. I flew as far as I could, trying to forget, but flying over familiar places was enough to make me remember again. I flew over the mall, where we went on our first date. I flew over the school where we sat side by side every day before class started. By the time I got to the park, where we has had some of the best times, I was sobbing again. I landed in the play park and sat down on the creaking swing set. I just sat there and let it all out. My sadness, anger, and frustration flowing down my face. It felt good to let it all out and try to get over it. I actually felt a lot better when I stood up to leave. It was getting dark so I left quickly to get home before it got too dark.
By the time I landed at my house, Princess Celestia had lover the sun and Princess Luna was making the moon begin it's slow path across the star ridden sky. It seems that Luna had known of my sadness and made the stars extra bright tonight. I looked up at them in wonder and awe. They where beautiful. I walked in to my room and sat down on my bed.
