Love songs and Butterflies (sequel idea)

It was another restless night for the young mare, her record player rested beside her window as she listened in deep thought.

"Will he ever return?" She says to herself, laying in her bed with Angel curled up beside her. "Does he even miss me?" She listens to the words of one of the records Crash gave her very closely, it sounded as if it was written for her;

Her eyes begin to water, it touched her to the point of utter defeat within herself. Fluttershy thinks, closing her eyes. She thought about what she went through as a filly: all the criticism, heartache, it all struck her like a knife to the chest. She remembered the passing of her father, and the way the foals at school teased her a lot, mostly about her flying status back then. She felt as if her whole life flashed before her eyes, as if Princess Luna herself was working it's way into her very spirit. It felt both tragic and comforting, like the eye of the storm.

Fluttershy turns and slams her face in the pillow, sobbing loudly. The music was too loud for anyone to hear her cries. Angel woke up, seeing his owner breaking down beside him. The bunny tries to comfort her, hugging her hoof tightly.

She looks to the loving bunny, her eyes bright bloodshot red from her crying. She sniffles. "Thank you, Angel." She runs her other hoof across Angel's back. "At least you're here." A smile breaks through her despair, slowly drifting off to sleep.

For Fluttershy, early morning was the perfect time for a walk through the Forest, admiring everything around her. Angel stood on her back, feeling quite mighty. The Forest had always calmed Fluttershy's nerves and put her at ease.  At the same time, she could feel a silent empowerment welling up inside her. As if nothing could stop you from doing what mattered. Avoiding the negatives, seeking out the positives.

Suddenly, leaves fell from a nearby branch as if something landed on it. This made Fluttershy take immediate action, with a gasp and strong turn of her head. The mare couldn't see anything, curiosity pushed her towards the tree. She looked up and said softly, "hello?"

Nothing, not a single response. She repeated herself once more; still nothing. After a few more tries, she finally went on her way. Little did Fluttershy know, she was being watched  from an unseen branch.

Wearily, she found a shady tree and collapsed under it. Angel was beside her. Looking up at the sky, she announces out in grief. "Please come back....."

Just then, on the other side, branches spewed out leaves and cracked downward. A loud yelp reaches her ears more and more, a white colt fell from the other side of the tree on his stomach. This caused Fluttershy and Angel to get up and run around, they see Crashie Tunez as he stands up.

"Crashie!" She ran and tackled him, the girl's heart lifted as she saw his face.

Crash laughed a little, kissing her softly. "Yeah...haha, it's me. Surprised?"

"Oh yes!" She hugged him tightly, giggling. "You have no idea!"

They look into each other's eyes, the Forest that closed them in seemed to became empty. Everything they knew became clear. Fluttershy got off of him and they both regained balance.

"So uhh...." She began walking. "I have something to show you, something I've never shown anypony. Not even Rainbow Dash."

"Not even her?" Crashie began to look back to the night he had first bumped into her. Boy was she a superfan. He'd never heard a girl be that obsessive over a musician, never! Just the thought of it made him giggle, for he thought it was a cute little crush that would eventually die over.

"Yes." She responded, giggling. "Come on, honey. I'll race you there."

"Race me there? I don't even know where it is." He laughed as they begin running.

"That's why I'm gonna win." She winked, passing him by a matter of a foot.

Crashie was led into a large, glowing garden. A stream separated it in two, as the source falls silently, allowing the stream to flow smoothly. There were beautiful, blooming flowers wherever he turned; some were roses, daisies, violets, and a few unidentifiable ones. The grass was soft and pure under his hooves, while birds flew by him, singing a lovely melody and placing a dandelion necklace around his neck.

The colt was speechless, he couldn't even move! Everything was so calm, so perfect, so...

"Magical." He uttered. It was all he could say at this point.

Fluttershy sat on a nearby hill against an apple tree, calling him. "Crashie! Come on!" She waves, giggling softly. "Got something for you!" Angel hops on top of her head, he didn't look angry at all. He actually looked happy to see him.

"U-huh?" He snapped out of the sudden trance and ran up the little hill, sitting down beside her. Angel's expression changes quickly, thus jumping off of Shy's head and pouting, looking away.

Fluttershy had both hooves behind her back, as if she had something behind her. "Ok, close your eyes." Crash obeys with a smile, moving his tail up and down in excitement.

"Okay hun, open up."

Crashie opened his eyes, witnessing a beautiful acoustic guitar in front of him. It was a standard, but had Fluttershy's cutie mark carved into the neck, along with the word "Forever" carved in the frets. "H-how'd you......?"

"Oh umm...I designed it for you.....you like it?" She blushed.

Crashie smiled greatly, taking it and holding her hoof. "I love it, thank you..." Before finishing, he kisses her lips gently. "Fluttershy"

She giggled, tracing a heart in his chest with one of her feathers. "You're welcome."

Angel Bunny gagged and hops off into the flower patch, meeting up with his critter friends.

The colt leans back against the tree, setting the guitar on him and adjusting his 5 right feathers on the neck. He strummed a simple G chord, it was perfectly in tune. Crash stared into the lush garden, as a sudden pressure is felt on his left shoulder. Turning to the left, he saw Fluttershy leaning on him, sighing dreamily. "Play me something?" She asked lovingly, stroking his bangs with her hoof. She kissed him slightly, in hopes of approval.

Crashie's cheeks turn bright red, he stutters. "Well uhh.....uhh...."

This caused Shy to giggle. "You're so cute when you're embarrassed." She nuzzled closer to his neck, licking it softly.

Tunez's left wing wraps tightly around her body, making her feel safe and secure in his care. He plays.

The melody was sweet and calming, making birds fly around them. Flowers magically open their buds, blooming brightly in the heavenly atmosphere. The glowing garden suddenly became brighter, more breathtaking. Almost as if it was alive, bringing forth it's way of appreciation for the love being spread within it.

After the song was over, they look around them, standing on their own four hooves. Astonished were their expressions, breath-taken perhaps.

Fluttershy was even more taken by the sight before them, for after the many times she's spent here alone, this is the only time the garden did this. Why was it showing life now? What's causing it? Was this mare in a deep dream? Can all this be real?

Crashie seemed to have a clue, as a bright yellow-orange orb grew in the center of the garden...

"Princess Celestia..." He whispered. "I-I can't believe it."

Fluttershy glanced at him in question, "what was that?"

"It's....it's.."

Celestia appeared as clear as day, her mane in a swaying motion as always even though there wasn't any breeze. She walked slowly towards the direction of the hill. "Yes, it is me, you two" She smiled and giggled a little. "I was hoping you two would come here sooner or later."

The two lovers are confused. "What do you mean, princess?" They said together.

"Because, my little ponies, I've been watching the way you treat each other. The love that you two share is strong and pure, powerful enough to ignite the garden's spell."

"Spell?" Crashie asked in deep thought.

"Yes, a spell that cannot be activated unless the love within the garden is strong enough."

Fluttershy buds it, "what was the spell suppose to do?"

Princess Celestia curled up in front of them, looking around her as she answers. "The spell is unknown, but it has something to do with spreading love throughout Equestria. Well, that's just a prediction Princess Twilight has. As for me, I bet it's something to do with the glowing, something that will take time. Something you both will cherish forever."

"Wow... " Fluttershy sighed dreamily, resting her head on Crashie's shoulder again. "Sounds so lovely. I can't wait to see what happens."

"As do I, my dearest Fluttershy." Princess Celestia responded with a smile.

"For right now, be patient."

Crashie looked around. "Hey, anypony seen Angel?" They start to call for him, running around the garden. Crashie came to the flower patch, seeing the sweetest scene he'd ever witnessed.

Angel's head was on another bunny's lap, it was a female; she had a pretty red bow on her right ear. The female flicked Angel's ears like 2 door stops, looking into his eyes and smiling shyly.

Crashie doesn't call the others over, only because Angel might feel embarrassed. "Well then, uhh....continue on." He whispers, smiling as Angel noticed him in sudden shock. "Hey, don't worry, I won't tell a single soul. Ok?"

The male bunny nods, smiling at him and holding out his tiny hand in a fist. They fist/hoof bumped in agreement, thus was their beginning of a bro-to-bro relationship.
