It is several hours after the events of Season 1, Episode 23: The Cutie Mark Chronicles. The Crusaders are just getting ready for bed, when they are accidentally whisked away by the TARDIS. After clearing up the initial confusion of both parties, the Crusaders introduce themselves and explain what happened as best they can. While doing some work on the TARDIS to bring the Crusaders back to Ponyville, and at the right time, the mysterious Doctor tells the story about how he got his cutie mark. Like the mane 6, it was caused by Rainbow Dash's sonic rainboom.
