The Interview

"You shouldn't go Cover. This is one of the most prolific murderers in all of Equestria." Said Purple Haze:

"Look Haze. I've already made up my mind. I'm going to Canterlot whether you like it or not." Said Hard Cover. She then closed her suitcase and turned to Haze:

"Look Haze.." Cover said, putting her hoof on Hazes cheek:

"This might be the biggest story of the century. You know I've been struggling on a idea for months and this might be my biggest chance to hit it big. Hell if I do well I might be able to quit my job." Cover than smiled, Haze then smile as well:

"I understand Cover, I personally thought you liked being a Psychiatrist." Cover then put her hoof down and walked towards her bag:

"I do, I really do, I just think it's time to start writing again you know, I mean do you really want to see your best friend interviewing people about their problems for the rest of their life when I know I have bigger dreams ahead?" Asked Cover:

"I guess not, I just don't want you to get hurt, You know I worry right?" Asked Haze, Cover then levitated her bag towards her carriage:

"I know you do, but you know I can't have you raggin' on me forever about something. I'm sure I'll be fine okay?"

Cover then put the bag in the carriage and closed the trunk. She then once again turned to her Friend:

"Haze? Remember when we were fillies and I hurt my horn on that tree during the winter?" Cover asked:

"Yes"

"And remember when you found me crying and you comforted me telling me everything's gonna be okay?" Cover added:

"Of course, why would you bring that up?"

Cover then walked up and hugged Haze, she then let go and smiled again:

"Because, after that you also said that no matter what even if I was miles away you would always hope to Celestia that I'm doing okay." Cover stated:

"I'll be okay Haze, If anything happens, remember that I'll call you." Haze then nodded and hugged Cover:

"I hope you're right."

"I know I am. Now, I have to get to the Air Port, the Pegasi leave at three." Haze then let go of her friend and Cover got into the carriage, she then poked her head out of her window:

"I'll make sure to call you when I get there okay?" Haze then nodded:

"I love you Cover." Haze shouted:

"I love you to ." Cover shouted as well. The carriage then drove off towards the Air Port.

During the flight towards Canterlot, the pony next to Cover then turned towards her:

"Ever been to Canterlot before?" The pony asked, Cover then flipped the page of her book she was reading:

"Once, When I was very small. I don't really remember it, I was there when my grandparents took me to the rising of the sun thing that happens every year." Cover answered, the pony then look at the book she was reading:

"I see you like Horsewelle, I like his book Mammal Farm, It's one of my favorites, but I find Nineteen Forty Four as well, what do you think of it?" The pony asked, Cover then sighed and put her bookmark in the book and closed it. She then turned to the pony:

"I'm sorry I don't believe I got your name." Cover asked, the pony then reached out her hoof:

" I apologize, my name is Twilight Sparkle, I work in Ponyville but technically live in Canterlot. I guess I never got your name as well." Cover then shook the ponies hoof:

"My name is Hard Cover, I was a columnist and book writer in Manehattan for a couple years but became a doctor because I ended up suffering from writers block, never seemed to get over it." Twilight then giggled:

"Well isn't that funny, I'm supposed to meet you at the Air Port, but I ended up heading to Manehattan for a friends fashion show for Luna's Secret." Cover also giggled:

"Well what are the chances of this happening? I'm sorry I guess I didn't recognize you at all." Cover explained, Twilight then grabbed a schedule she wrote down:

"Well, I guess I can mark that off my schedule for today. So anyway, what brings you to Canterlot?" Twilight asked:

"Well, I'm hoping to start my book on a criminal."

Twilight then looked at Cover with interest:

"Really? Who's the criminal that you're going to interview, if I may ask?" Twilight wondered, Cover than levitated her purse and pulled out a picture, she then showed it to Twilight, Twilight's face then turned pale with fear:

"Are you okay Twilight? You look as if you've seen a....oh...right, I forgot." Twilight then fell back in her seat with exhaust, Cover then put the picture back and got Twilight a glass of water, Cover then patted Twilight's shoulder, comforting her:

"Twilight are you okay? I'm sorry for putting you through that, I had completely forgot about you and her and what she did you your friend.."

"Rainbow Dash." Twilight whispered out:

"Please tell be a little more if you can." Twilight then turned to cover and wiped the tears from her eyes:

"I still remember when they found her." Cover then got a pen and notepad and began writing everything down:

"Please Twilight, Continue."
