Senescence
Princess Celestia wakes up surrounded by an endless sea of sand. It's peaceful here, relaxing almost. But questions swirl in Celestia's mind as she takes her first step. How did she get here? How can she get back? Does she even want to?
There's a lot of sand around here. Sand that stretches for miles around.
I see a light in the distance, it looks like my beloved star, but it is cold and unfeeling. I guess there is no harm in going for a closer look. I will find my way back. I'm sure of it.
No matter how long it takes.
AN: There's a small amount of planning for this, but I really want to see where this goes. Write whatever, whenever.
