Chapters Silence. This was all Princess Luna ever heard. Ever since...the incident. she sighed as she looked down to the ring on her hoof.
"Why did you have to go? Why did you have to leave me?" Luna asked to no one. Sighing once more she recalled the last words that her soon to be stallion for eternity said to her.
"I'll be back......someday"
But it was over2000 years ago he had said that, and she was losing hope...for good.
"You know, it wasn't just your lover that disappeared"
Unbeknownst to Luna, her older sister,Celestia, had slipped into the room to share in her grief.
"Tia, do you think they will ever come back?"
To this celestia just slowly sighed in thought.
"I don't know lulu, I don't know.
The two princesses just sat their in the Canterlot castle, grieving over their lost loved ones, wondering if they would ever come back.
"Well, this has been a real shitty day huh Tanner?"
"Nawww, just peachy.
Tai and Tanner had ended up in equestria after a terrible misshap with their jet controls that sent them spiraling to the ground, in an impact that very well should have killed them. But as no big surprise to them, they shrugged it off. How you may ask? Well...they don't know. All they know is that they have been alive for more than 2000 years and stuck by each other for every minute. And can't remember anything before that, except the voices of two girls, whom they dident know. Or so they thought.
"So you call crashing air jets, losing are human body's, turning into winged unicorns, an being stared at by a whole tribe of multi colored ponies for the whole day, JUST PEACHYY!!!??
"Yup how about you?"
"Totally bro, its kinda sick"
The two laughed at their sarcasm like this were all no big deal.
"Well, you know, in my defence, that Tirek guy did seem pretty tough, and had powers. So when two alicorn dudes just happened to be there to wreck him before he could do anything, ponies are going to stare."
Tai and Tanner had just recently got into the "My Little Pony" fan base and thought how cool it would be to go there, but never thought it was possible. So when they had transported to Equestria it came as quite a shock, but quickly got over it when they realized that the mane six were in a boss fight with tirek, and were losing.
So to the surprise of the mane six (especially twilight) they stepped in and sent him back to the depots of hell, where he came from.
But they were getting stares from everyone in ponyvill......all day....and were just plain tired
"But seriously, where are we going to sleep?" Asked Tanner
"Hmmm, how about in the alleyway? No one will bother us there."
"Sounds good"
The two walked into the dark alley, only to hear a very, very hard to hear crying from the end of the alley. As they traveled further it started to get louder, and louder, until they were right next to the source of the crying. There before their eye's, lay a young filly, who could have only been seven by the looks of it. Tanner started to try to calm the filly but only succeeded in making her more frightened.
Then it snapped.
Something overcame Tai and forced Tanner out of the way, as if an old protective instinct had just kicked in.
"Move, your scaring her!
"Ohh yea I don't see you with any bright ideas, generally obvious!"
Tai sat and thought for a minute before a idea came to him. Digging through his survival backpack which was on his wing(thank god for those things. He thought) and brought out a bright red apple that the nice golden brown mare had given him earlier.
He approached the cowering filly that by now was literally shaking.
"Hey, dont be scared, its OK, I'm not gonna hurt you"
He then placed a hoof on the filly, not a force full one, but very gentle. This took the filly be surprise, as she noticeably calmed down, and was now staring at the apple with wanting, but cautious, eye's.
"Go ahead, you can have it"
The little filly took the apple and slowly took the first bite. She took in all the flavor of it and jus fuel as if she a going to Mel into it. She then realized that this stallion before her was being genuinely generous. She then decided that she would trust him with anything. Being so she felt in debt, so, she split the apple in two and gave the other half to him.
"W-what are you, no, I can't I gave it to you, I can't take it away, you need it"
The next thing she did left him in absolute shock.
"All I need, is someone to call daddy"
The heart that laid in his chest then shattered when he processed what she said. She had no parents. He could not stand for. This so he said something he will always be proud of.
"I'll be your dad, I'll stay by you"
The look she gave him was that of absolute joy. She couldent believed her ears
"R-really?"
"Yup"
With that the filly just ran up and hugged him until all three were nearly asleep
"Hey, kid what's your name?"
"Autumn"
" That's a nice name" was the last thing he could say before drifting to sleep, with the filly still cuddled up next to him.
1:30 AM
PRINCESS!!PRINCESS!! one of the royal night guard's yelled while bursting into the throne room.
"What is it?" The princess of the night herself answered,slightly agitated.
"Its him he's back!"
*gasp* "your sure of this?" She asked
"Yes ma'am, one of the guards saw him, down in ponyvill along with the other one, they defeated Tirek."
*that has to be him* Princess Luna thought to herself as she thought about it.
Could it be?, the day that she has been waiting for for two thousand years, could it finally be here?
"Ma'am should I ready the moon mobile?" The guard asked.
"No time, we will fly there alone" she answered.
She decided to go there in the morning with her sister celestia to see if this was true
"Until then" she said.
It was 2 AM when he woke up. At first not knowing where he was, then remembering what had happened that day. He smiled as he looked at the filly and saw that she was stargazing.
"Shouldn't you be asleep?" He asked.
"No, I'm nocturnal, I stay awake at night to look at the big beautiful stars."
"Then we have soothing in common" he replied
" Hey, just asking but why were you so afraid of me and Tanner?" He asked
She thought this over for a minute before answering.
"Because your an allicorn, and here, allicrns are the most powerfl beings on the planet"
"So, what, you thought I was gonna get ya or something?" He asked
"Partially". She admitted
" Well you have nothing to be afraid of, not while I'm here" he said as he pulled her into a hug.
They eventually fell back asleep in a big hug.
When they woke, the three ponies traveled around ponyvill to see that ponies where still staring at them in awe and some cowering in fear.
They continued their adventure until they were stopped by the mane six
Twilight, of course being her usual self and asked ten thousand questions, while pinkie just bounced up and down spurring out party ideas and the others rolled their eye's.
"Classic pinkie"said Tai
After what seemed like an hour of questions, twilight had finally said
"Well I better send a letter to celestia about thi-"
She was interupted by a loud 'BANG, BANG, BANG,' at the door.
She opened it to find that there was the princess of statement their with her sister Luna in tow, and a large group of guards around them.
"Looks like they already know" Tai said nervously to Tanner.
As they entered, the two idiots and the filly all tried to hide themselves among the other six, which was already impossible seeing that they were a good four feet taller then them, and the fact that the main six were bowing didn't help in any way.
"You two, what are thou names?" Asked princess Luna, as scary and intimidatingly as ever.
Completely and utterly scared shirtless, they responded.
"And you two have defeated Tirek single hoofedly?"
They processed every thought as to not screw up in front of royalty, but eventually answered.
"Y-yes, ma'am"
Princess Luna then turned to talk to her sister for a moment.
Seeing this, the two idiots started to actually look at the princesses.
Tai, was looking at Luna, and noticed that she was lean, muscular, cute, and just plain out looked awesome.
" Bruh, Luna looks gorgeous" he whispered to Tanner, in a what that made him seem like even more of an idiot.
"Naw, man I've got my eye's on celestia." He said staring at the bright white coat, elegant wings, long horn, and stunning eye's.
They snapped back to reality when they realized that the princesses had asked a question. So they stood there with stupid looks on their muzzles and just said one thing.
"Huh?"
Now listening, they asked to repeat the sentence.
"We said, dost thou remember us?"
They answered truthfully, and with a clear mind.
"Nope"
The princesses then looked saddened and quickly looked down before discussing something.
"Sister, we are sure this is them, they have just lost their memory."
Luna and celestia talked a while more before coming to a decision.
"We have decided, that you will stay in the castle until further notice, it seems that you both have lost your memories. Said celestia.
"Indeed" uttered princess Luna while looking down to the ring on her hoof.
"We shal leave immediately" commanded princess celestia.
Only to find that both stallions were just staring in absolute shock. Tai came to first.
"I'm not going, not unless I can bring autumn" he said.
The princesses looked at each other in confusion.
"And, who is Autumn?" asked Luna with a confused look.
He then carefully unfolded his wings, breaking the makeshift blanket he had created for Autumn.
The princesses gasped in shock at the state that she was in.
"I found her in an alley, shortly after the fight with Tirek, she was cold, tired, and starving, so I gave her the apple that apple jack gave me and when I learned that she had no parents, i-i told her I would take care of her."
Apple jack was the first to speak.
"That was ah, mighty fine thing ta do pardner.
Then Luna spoke up, after waking up out of her trance.
"Still has as big of a heart as ever huh?"
He thought about this for a minute before he gave an answer.
"Huh?"
Luna quickly realized her mistake, and corrected it as quick as possible.
"Never mind that, thou may bring the filly if thy wish."
With that, they started their trip. They had to fly there, which was difficult considering that the two stallions had to learn fast, and Tai had to hold on to Autumn the whole way in his hooves.
When they arrived they were quickly ushered into the royal library, and were told that they were to stay put while the princesses found the spell to return their memory's.
They sat their for hours in the Canterlot castle until it was getting dark, and Autumn was waking up.
"Hmm, where are we?"
"We are in the Canterlot castle, specifically, the royal library. He responded, only to see the look of pure astonishment on her muzzle.
"Why are we here?" She asked slightly confused
He was just about to respond when Princess Luna appeared, and made acquaintance with the filly.
She then explained that they had found the book and will use it shortly.
But before she left, he asked her some things that were bothering him.
"Why are we here?, how did you know where to find us and why?, and...what's with the ring. He said pointing to the ring at the last part.
"All will be revealed when the spell is done." She said putting her now glowing horn to his forehead.
As soon as she made contact, he blacked out.
He was now standing in front of what seemed to be ponyvill, thousands of years ago. As he looked he noticed that all the other ponies were gone, except one.
As he was looking at the little colt, a memory had just reinstated in the back of his mind, and realized.
"That's......me....
There he stood, stating in awe at the scene before him. Seeing the colt that he recognized as himself.
But he was not an alicorn.
Not thinking of anything else to do, he walked up to the colt, only to see that he was looking down at somthing, something small and black. Upon further examination, he realized that the object in question, was Luna's tiara.
Tai then tried to speak, only finding that he could not.
He started to panic until he heard a loud"bark".
He then looked back to the young colt, and saw a young Alaskan huskey trudge up to him.
The colt realized the dogs presence and spoke.
"What am I going to do radar?"
Tai instantly knew what he was talking about as the colt fiddled the black tiara in his hooves.
"I mean what if she throws me into the dungeons, or something?" The colt asked the dog.
Tai then knew what had happened as the memories of that day rushed to him.
The two princesses were making their way through ponyvill to celebrate a festival for only god knows what, when tai noticed that the young Lunar princesses tiara had fallen off. He had quickly went to retrieve, and return it only to be stopped by the guards.
"Hey, back off" the guard screamed.
He had tried to explain what had happened but was told that if he dident leave, force will be used.
He backed off at that.
And was now sitting in the little clearing of woods that he called home.
The dog only barked in response to the colts question.
The colt sat there thinking for a while, then came to a conclusion.
"I'll have to get in the castle, and give it to her myself, if the guards won't listen, then I'll do it my way"
The next scene that Tai saw was him running through the halls of the castle, with at least ten guards on his tail.
He was battered, bloody, and bruised, but that did not stop him. He was determined.
The colt had been running around the halls for what had seemed to he hours, one of the guards actually got a his on his back leg, so after he was sure he had lost the guards he slowed to a limp.
Only a few moments later he was then stopped by his target, Luna
"Who are you? And why are you here?" She asked in a angry voice, which tai thought was cute cause she was only 14 by the look of it.
He was about to answer when he heard the guards.
"There he is! Get him!". They shouted.
Luna then looked at the colt again.
"You better answer quickly, and it better be good, otherwise I'm not stopping them" she said matter-o-factly
The colt quickly showed her the tiara and spoke.
"You dropped this in ponyvill, and I thought you would need it!"He cried in terror.
Seeing the item she quickly let out an audible gasp, and looked at the guards.
"ENOUGH!" she screamed using the royal Canterlot voice.
The guards immediately stopped.
"YOU ARE DISMISSED!" She commanded, still using the royal Canterlot voice
The guards did as they were told and went back to their posts.
Luna then turned attention to the colt and thought, then asked a question.
"Why did you do that? Why did you risk your life and freedom, just to return this?" She asked gripping the tiara with her magic.
Tai as a young colt always did think that princess Luna was really cute, but was not about to let that slip, so he just gave the next best answer.
"Because having someone else do something for you is just not right, I was taught to face your problems head on no matter the cost...... andcausei'vealwayswantedtobeyourfriend!"
Luna was surprised at the last part, she had never had a friend, and now this colt risked his life, risked his freedom, and got beaten by the royal guards, just to be her friend.
She was then HEAVILY blushing as she looked down to see that he had his hoofs over his head as he cowered to the floor.
Luna then made a choice that would affect her life forever.
She had convinced the colt that he was not going to the dungeons, and to get off the floor. She beckoned him to follow her through the castle.
After a while they went through a set of double doors, to see the head guard, sitting at his desk.
Luna then spoke.
"You see this colt?" She asked.
The guard nodded his head in response.
"Good, remember his face because whenever he come to the gate, you are to make sure to have the guards let him in do you understand?"
The colt and the head guard just sat with their jaws dropped in response.
After a moment or so the guard nodded yes once more.
The two then left the room, still not sure of what just happened, he asked her.
"What was that about?"
Luna turned to look at the colt, and replied.
Don't ask, but I want you in the throne room tomarow at this same time, got that?"
He just nodded yes and left after a brief introduction and goodbye.
As Luna watched the colt go she couldent help but think.
He is kinda cute.
The next moment or two was just a blur and swirl of faded memories, until it stopped to one specifically.
In this memory he was now an alicorn, and was talking to princess Luna in the royal gardens.
The memory did not last long at all but ended with a long kiss.
The next few where just memories of how tanner came into the picture or just wasn't longer than two seconds.
Until, again, it slowed at one specific memory, and this one was very interesting to say the least.
It again showed him and Luna except they were now on some sort of balcony and were just talking.
Nothing really stood out until tai pulled out a black box, nervousness drawn all across his features he spoke.
"Luna, can I ask you something?"he asked
Luna nodded and looked a bit more excited.
"Well, I was thinking, since I live here now, and I'm an alicorn now, well.... I thought that since their were no physical walls stopping me from asking, I wanted to ask.
Luna now looked as if she would dye if he did not ask what she thought he was.
Tai spoke up again with a huge stutter as he spoke, also giving a slight bow and moving the box into sight he resumed.
"Luna, would you-"
He could not even finish his sentence because as soon as she saw the box, she knew what was in it, what he was going to ask, and what her answer would be, she had him tackled to the ground, while screaming her answer.
"YESYESYESYESYESYES!"
it took a minute to regain his bearings, but eventually did and realized what had happened.
Then the memory faded away.
When Tai started to wake up, he realized that he was in a hospital.
He quickly searched for Autumn, but calmed down when he saw her in a chair next to him, asleep.
He then started thinking about all the shit he had just seen, and relived.
His train of tjout was quickly interupted by a concerned looking Luna.
"Art thou alright?"she asked in a very concerned way.
Upon seeing her he just went into a deep blush as he nodded slowly.
Luna saw this and got a string of hope.
"And dost thou....remember us now?" She asked praying the answer to be yes.
Tai just continued to blush even harder, and nodded his head.
On the inside, Luna was now happier than she had been in years. And it showed a little on the outside as well.
"And what exactly do you remember?" She asked.
He was about to answer when he realized she had dropped the royal we thing, but thought nothing of it.
As if answering her question, he quickly looked down on the ring, but just as quickly looked away.
Luna saw this though, and being the person she is......she got even more excited.
When I say excited...it might be a bit of an under exaggeration. He was litteraly pinned to the ground while Luna had him in a death hug.
Feeling a bit awkward, Tai just laid there being crushed by the force of the hug, waiting for her to let up, she didn't.
After a while she tightened even more while mumbling something that Tai could not hear.
"Could you repeat that p-princess?" He asked.
Luna then looked up at him, still hugging the life out of him before saying.
"I missed you so much."
Tai still had to take a while just to make sure that this was actually happening, and to verify that what he saw was true.
After a few questions and answers Luna verified that this was all true and expressed her joy of it by, not letting him get out of her embrace.
He had asked her if they could get up and to this she simply replied 'no' and hugged tighter.
Eventually, the sun when down and Luna had to raise the moon, still of course not letting him go .......not again.
Autumn, tai's newly, but not official child, woke up from her sleep in the chair and just giggled at what she saw.
Moments later, Princess Celestia, and Tanner walked into the room.
Tanner, being the asshole he usually is, started laughing histerically while rolling on the ground when he saw that Tai was in a death hug.
Celestia did not look amused though. So she used her magic to make Tanners once golden muzzle turn a deep shade of pink.
"Hahahahahahahahahah" Luna and Tai bellowed in snyc.
Even celestia could not stop a laugh as she saw how stupid he looked, but being herself, bit her lip trying not to.
"Hehe, well at least I'm not tackled to the floor by a overly loving princess, mine would never do tha-"
But he was stopped short when Celestia too, tackled Tanner to the floor.
Tai then started laughing again to the point where it hurt.
"K-KARMA'S A B-BITCH YOU FUCK TARD" He managed to scream in between laughs.
Tanner did not seem amused.
"Shut up Tai" was all he could say.
Then Celestia had a devious thought.
"Hmm, well dear sister, it seems that my stallion here has not been behaving himself, I think he need to be punished, what do you think should be done?" Said Celestia with a very devilish grin that was kind of scaring Tai.
Luna then finally got off Tai and dragged him with her.
"I have a better idea dear sister" said Luna with a tone that suggested something that Tai immediately recognized.
"Pray tell" added Celestia as she tightened her grip on Tanner as he was desperately trying to escape.
"Well now that the master of all things devious and funny has returned. She said motioning to Tai.
"We could start pranking again" Luna said to her sister as calmly as she could, almost as if she was in court. With Celestia acting the same way still lying on top of Tanner.
"Hmm, that sounds like an excellent idea, very well, Tanner you have been here by sentenced to the next hundred years of pranks from Tai and Luna" said celestia as if she had just reached a verdict.
Tanner looked over to Tai who was now free from Luna's grasp and was helping Autumn onto his back, a look of fear was spread all over Tanners face, because he knew not to mess with Tai in a prank war, he had learned the hard way.
"Huhh, can you at least help me up, dude?" Tanner asked to Tai, hoping for him to assist the giant white mare off of him.
Tai looked at Luna before answering who was wearing a disapproving look, before looking back to Tanner and just said'NOPE'.
With that, Tai, Luna, and Autumn left the room.
Since all three of them were nocturnal, they stayed up till dawn.
Then Luna started to speak.
"Seems as though Tia, and Tanner made it back to their bedroom.
Tai looked at her with a dumb stare before adding.
"They share a room?"
Luna looked slightly amused by this before answering.
"Yes and as do we"she said choosing her words very carefully, considering there was a filly present.
But Tai's jaw just dropped in response. But Luna spoke again before he could.
"Well you did propose to me over two thousand years ago, which by the way I'm still holding you to that, so why wouldn't we?"
Tai pondered this for a moment, still not believing what he had just heard before answering.
"Umm yea, I guess that makes sense?" He stated.
"Speaking of which we need to get back to that room of ours don't we?" Luna asked.
Tai was taken back by this, he went from one day sleeping in an alley, with his best friend and a filly he started to take care of, then the next moment, he was in the Canterlot castle, spending the entire night with Luna, learned that he is engaged to that very same princess, and was now told that his rightful place to sleep was in one of the most comfortable places on the planet with again that same princess.
He then thought.
"What about Autumn?" He asked after thinking.
Luna only grew a smoke before answering.
"I have known you for over two thousand years, and if there is anything that I have learned in that time, it is that you have the biggest heart I have ever seen from anypony. She stated.
"So, when I found that you had choose to take care of her, I had the guards and some construction ponies build a spare room leading from our bedchamber just for her."
Tai kinda just stood there with a dumb look on his muzzle, wondering how that something like that could be done so quickly, but then just assumed it was magic like everything else there.
It was almost morning and Tai was woken from his train of thought by Autumn who was rubbing her eye's and tugging on his wing asking for his makeshift blanket.
But Tai wanted to give her a surprise she would never forget.
"Ohh, no, I won't have any of that nonsense young filly, not anymore." He stated as Autumn just gave him very wanting eye's.
"I've got something much better for you." He finished before turning away from the tired and confused filly, to look at Luna who knew what he was trying to do.
"Oh, yes, much better." Luna agreed as she gave the filly a nod.
Then they all started to make their way towards lunas tower, which, overall, was way to long of a walk, it was long, long, oh and did I mention long?
But eventually they made it there, to a set of huge double doors that obviously led to lunas room.
The doors were guarded by two guards, and had two cartoonish pictures on the door, one was of Luna's cutie mark, and the other was of Tai's.
"Wow, well if wasn't obvious enough" he thought out loud as he started to follow Luna through the doors, only two be stopped by the two guards.
"HALT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, YOU HAVE NO BUSINESSES WITH THE PRINCESS ANYMORE, LEAVE OR ELSE WE WILL USE FORCE!" one of them bellowed.
Luna looked so angry that it made Tai think she was going to disintegrate him on the spot, or at least send him to the moon. But Tai stopped her and handled it himself, making sure to be as much as a smatass as possible.
"So, are you two new? Or are you just dumb?" He asked making the guards really pissed.
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY?" the guard screamed with rage.
"Look at the door stupid" he replied unamused.
The guard looked back at the door, then at Tai and replied.
"AND?" he asked, equally as unamused.
Tai then started to lose his patients, and decided to move this along more quickly.
" I LIVE HERE SHIT FOR BRAIN!" He screamed, making even the guard look intimidated.
The guard then noticed a large portrait on the wall behind Tai that had all four of the alicorns in it. Celestia was levitating a quill and parchment on the throne while Tai was being chased by Luna because of what seemed to be a broken window that he had flown through, while Tanner was on the ground in laughter at the sight, and under the portrait read a caption that said.
"Our crazy family"
The guard noticed that the stallion with the black coat, was the same one from the portrait and instantly realized that he had fucked up, ......big time.
He then started to plead not to have him fired and let him in with just under a thousand apologies.
Tai rolled his eye's as he stepped through the door, that closed behind him, and saw Luna, who was giving a loving and admiring look.
"You always did know how to handle a situation the best way, if it were up to me, he would be on the moon right now." Stated Luna.
They shared a laugh and quickly went to show Autumn her new surprise, who at first was just confused as to why she was in a room until they explained that it was now hers, then she just bounded around in joy and shock at the fact that she gets to live in a castle.
But she quickly remembered that she was tired and asked to go to bed.
After Tai tucked her in and said sweet dreams, she said something that will always and forever be branded into his mind.
"Sweet dreams, daddy, *yawn* I love you" she squeaked out before falling asleep.
Tai smiled as he closed the door as quietly as he could, and a few tears fell from his eye's.
Luna noticed this and asked what was wrong.
"She called me daddy" he replied as he sounded even more happy
Luna looked happy for a moment as well before her expression darkened.
"You know it won't last forever right?" She asked sounding depressed.
Tai pawed at the ground for a moment before answering.
"Yea, but I intend to make the most of it and give her the happiest life possible, after seeing her in that alley, I could not stand for anything less."
They shared a hug before getting into bed.
Tai was still a little weary to get into bed though considering he hasent seen this mare in two thousand years and lost every memory he ever had of her(which he is still getting them back) but quickly got over it when she threatened that if he didn't go to bed she would have him sleep on the couch.
That got him in bed, they didn't even own a couch, but the threat still scared him.
When he got in bed she immediately grabbed him in another death hug as she pulled the bed spread over them.
Having the life crushed out of him he somehow managed to let out.
"Luna, i-i can't breath, could you let go a little?"
She looked at him with hurt eye's before responding.
"N-no, the last time I let go of you, you went missing for two thousand years, and now that I got you back,i-im never letting go again." She said while squeezing tighter.
Tai then let a tear fall, partly because he was being crushed, but there was emotion in it to.
"Okay" he said before she gave him a peck on the lips and they fell asleep, while Luna was still giving him her trademark death hug.
For the first time in years, they actually slept good, and had good dreams.
When they woke, it was almost 8:00 and Luna had to raise the moon, afterward they decided to sleep in a little more, but only for thirty seconds before Tai heard Autumn scream "DADDY!"
When he heard this he shot out of bed and full on sprinted for her, but when he walked in the room the thing he saw just made his eye's go as wide as basket balls.
There, standing before him, was his filly Autumn, but now instead of the little ocean blue coated, and purple maned unicorn he found in the back of an alley, he now saw a strong, and slightly taller unicorn, but had also sprouted wings.
An alicorn.
She had turned into an alicorn, how? He has no idea in hell. The only thing he could think to say as he looked at the frightened filly alicorn was.
"Awwwwww, SHIT!".

With Power Comes.........A SHIT TON OF FUN!!
Tai just stated for a few more seconds before he started to freak out.
"Oh, god Autumn what did you do? Are you sick?! Did something do somthing to you?! Did you hur-
He was quickly interupted by Autumn who was desperately explaining that all she did was touch the shiny green gem on the dresser.
Luna, who had walked into the room, to see what happened, also became alarmed at what she saw, but upon noticing the green gem, she immediately took it in her magic ad shattered it with an angry scowl.
"This should not have been here, let alone still real." She growled.
Becoming more concerned and frightened by the second, Tai asked her what it was.
"Its the nightmare gem, the very same gem that almost swallowed me in darkness and hate, I can't imagine what it would do to a filly, tell me dear Autumn, did you hear any voices after coming in contact with it?" Asked Luna who was now also wearing a concerned expression.
"Yes, they were saying that I am weak, and that I don't deserve to have any parents" she said starting to tear up.
Tai immediately went back to a fatherly instinct and gave her a warm hug, calming her down almost entirely before reassuring her that he would never leave.
Luna then started to closely inspect Autumn, before a few minutes later concluded that the gem had not been near her long enough and did not cause any damage other than a mental scar, and the only thing it really did was making her more powerful, thus alicorn filly.
Tai still had to make absolute sure that she was alright, which was understandable considering he had made a promise.
"So.... she is okay then right?" He questioned Luna who was now giving an excited look.
Luna had realized what all this just did after confirming no dark magic had corrupted her. Then as answered.
"Yes, she is more than alright, but do you know what this means?" She asked, her voice raising a bit on the last part.
Tai sat their for a moment and thought before the sudden realization dawned on him.
"No way. No Way! NO WAY!!" he started screaming happily as he rushed his filly onto his back.
"I can be a real dad now" he exclaimed happily at the sudden change of his luck.
Autumn just sat there with a confused look on her muzzle and asked what was going to happen.
Luna then explained that she was now an alicorn as well so that meant she would never die of natural cause.
"And. She continued. When me and your new daddy here get married, which by the way Tai I was not kidding when I said I was holding you to that, you will be a princess"
Autumn could not believe her ears, or anything else, at that moment.
"Is this a dream?" She asked now with a fear in her voice, dreading the answer.
"Yes" Luna replied only getting a look of disbelief from Tai and Autumn in response before giggling madly on the floor.
"GOTCHA" she yelled as she stood back up to get bombarded by Autumn, and Tai's happy faces.
The three then left their tower and went down to dinner, where they saw celestia and Tanner at the table, sitting across from each other. Celestia was being elegant as usual, and Tanner still had a pink muzzle which made him look extremely stupid.
As they approached the table, Tanner noticed them and waved to them before seeing Autumn and started choking on his salad.
Tai quickly put Autumn on the ground and rushed to Tanner to help him, which was hard considering the hooves.
"Come on, COME ON DAMIT!" he yelled as he was desperately trying to get the food out of his throat by giving him the, anti-choke...... thing (whatever the damn maneuver is called)
Eventually, Tai gave one huge push and the food popped right out, he then looked at him and smirked.
"What the hell would you do without me shit-head?" He commented slyly as he helped Autumn back onto his back.
Tanner still just looked at Autumn with wide eye's and a shocked expression.
Celestia too, after the slight panic-attack she had when Tanner was choking, had noticed that Autumn was now an alicorn as her pupils started to slowly shrink.
"Oh my, that's not good" was all she said while still staring at Autumn.
While everyone in the room besides Tai and Luna, Autumn felt really scared because she has always been shy, but she never was around Tai, she doesn't know why but she is.
Tai decided to break the silence and explain everything.
"Okay, can we like, not, stare at my filly all night, I'm mean ya, she turned into alicorn, AHH, big deal, I mean its not like me and Tanner did the same thing a couple thousand years ago. He stated with extreme sarcasm in his voice.
All the ponies in the room besides Luna, was now staring at him, instead of Autumn.
Luna then started to actually explain what happened.
After she had explained what happened, and received a few concerned looks from celestia, she assured that everything was alright
Afterwards, they all sat in the dinning hall, ate, and went their desperate ways.
After Tanner and Celestia went to bed, the three night dwellers Autumn, Tai, and Luna, all started to wonder about the castle, getting Autumn familiar with it, along with reinstating a few of Tai's memories of is past.
After a while of exploring and talking, Tai asked Luna a question.
"Hey shouldn't you be in night court or something?" He asked raising his eyebrow for good measure.
Luna looked back at him and giggled before answering.
"After two thousand years of waiting for you to return, AND, running a kingdom, I think I deserve a little vacation, so I took the week off of night court to catch up on all the time I missed that could have been spent with my stallion." She said adding big puppy eye's on that last part (if they could get any bigger).
Tai was still not used to being loved by royalty again so when Luna started acting all lovey, he just let the blush take over.
Seeing the blush on his muzzle, Luna decided to tease him about it.
"Awww, am I making my big, strong stallion feel embarrassed?" She said very playfully, making him blush even more.
"Oh, I think I am, maybe its because he doesn't love me, oh well" she said trying her best to act sad and see what would happen.
At that moment Tai heard two voices in his head, telling him what to do.
One was softly telling him to comfort her and tell her that he still liked her, the other was screaming "ITS A TARP!!"
But of course, because of the big heart he has, and not realizing that it was indeed a "tarp" he decided to comfort her.
Luna was now fake crying to try to get a reaction, she knew very well that he could not ignore a crying mare, especially his.
"Hey hey hey, don't cry don't cry, I still do you know that." He said very comfortingly.

"I-i want to here you say it"she commanded with a fake stutter.
Tai's coat that was originally jet-black, now had a muzzle almost as pink as Tanners he was blushing so hard.
"I-i still l-love you" he said with a stutter that was very much real unlike Luna's
But she was not done, she wanted to mess with him some more as bay back for two thousand years of being alone.
"W-what did you say? it sounded like I hate you" she said very well knowing what he said and was biting the inside of her lip trying not to giggle at her stallion's hopelessness.
Tai's face felt like it was on fire, why was it so hard to comfort her, he had known her since they were both very young and had been best friends if not lovers for just as long, and wondered what he did in a past life to deserve this.
"I-i said I love you, do you feel better now?"he asked still very concerned about Luna.
Satisfied with what she had done she decided to show it by leaning in and kissing him on the lips.
"Much" she replied after she pulled away.
They continued walking around and scaring the shit out of guards before Tai remembered something important.
"Shit, I promised Pinkie that I would be at the party tonight, there is no way I'll make it in time." He stated.
Luna just looked at him with a knowing stare before asking.
"Let me guess, welcome to Ponyvill party?"
"Yup, classic Pinkie" he stated.
Luna nodded her head in agreement before adding.
"Well we could not just simply stand them up can we? We will go to this party together.... as a family" looking at Autumn at the last part.
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go"he exclaimed
The three then teleported down to ponyvill and looked around before finding sugar cube corner.
"Well we're here"he said as he knocked on the door.
He then heard a bunch of whispering before he heard Pinkie yell "come on in Tai".
As the three walked in the door was immediately shut behind them, all the lights were flicked on and at least thirty ponies, including twilight and the others all jumped out and screamed "surprise".
After a while of questions, and getting over the the initial shock of royalty being there, the party went great.
Until Tai noticed a certain somepony trot up behind him and huff.
Tai whipped around to find that he was face to face with non other than prince jack-ass himself.
Trying to be friendly he extended his hoof for a shake, but only got a disgusted look from the white pony.
"What? To good for a hoof shake man?" He asked still trying to be as police as possible.
"I am a prince, I do not shake hooves with such... pheasants." He stated as he flicked his hoof.
Tai was starting to lose his patients with this asshole, he never liked the snotty royals, nice ones like Luna are awesome, but ones like him, they are just intolerable, but he stayed calm.
"Woah, dude no need to throw insults, this is a party, calm down" he replied slightly agitated.
Blue blood though just acted as though he was insulted before angrily replying.
"Insults won't be the only thing I'll throw out of here if you do not get out of my way you incompetent piss brain."
Tai was really struggling not to beat the shit out of him right then.
Luna, along with most of the ponies there had noticed and were circling around the two stallions.
Luna walked to his side before asking if he needed help, but he said he is still going to try to be polite.
All was quiet now and everyone except a few ponies had gathered to see blue blood get a long deserved beating.
"Dude, you need to stop right now, you can't be trying to start a fight, not with my filly around" he said trying his last resort to avoid conflict and be the bigger stallion (and the only stallion ohhhhhh).
Blue blood looked furious, Tai could swear he saw steam coming from his ears before he spoke.
"YOU DARE TRY TO TELL ME, PRINCE BLUEBLOOD, TO STOP!? YOU ARE GOING TO GET IT!"he bellowed as he swung his hoof at Tai's face expecting an impact.
But Tai had used his wing to stop the punch inches away from him before speaking very angrily.
"Luna, could you take Autumn over to play with Sweetiebell, Scootalo, and Applebloom? He asked as he twisted Bluebloods hoof.
"I can't have her seeing this" he finished.
Luna quickly got Autumn off his back an on to hers and gave him a peck on the cheek before shouting.
"Kick his ass sweetie!" And then left to introduce Autumn to the cutie mark crusaders, earning a few startled looks because of what she just said.
"Auntie, who's side are you on?" He whined like the little bitch he is.
Luna turned around quickly before answering.
"His" was all she said before turning back around to get back to her mission.
Blue blood then looked back at Tai who had noticeably changed.
His once big eye's had gone to slits, his mane and tail that was usually a bright teal was now a flame of it, and he was now wearing a rather strange set of armour complete with a sword hilted to the armour.
The armour along with the sword, was unlike anything he had ever seen, it looked like even if a rhino, a hippo, a giraffe, an elephant, and a tiger all sat on it at once it still would not break.
The way the sword and armour looked though could only be described one way, exactly like Luna's mane and tale, like the night sky.
Tai, nor Blue blood knew where the armour and sword came from but put it past them, they had to fight.
Tai was done with his shit and was no longer going to be the 'nice guy' and was now going to beat the shit out of him and had encouragement from Luna.
Tai then using the hoof he was still holding in place with his wing, lifted Blueblood off the ground while he screamed in protest, outside of sugar cube corner.
As he was getting ready to kick him to the next century, he remembered that there was a crowd.
'Oh now would be a great time for a movie quote' he thought to himself frantically until one came to mind.
He smiled at his cleverness.
As he was rearing back for the kick, he smiled and said.
"I'll be back" then kicked him in the direction of the castle.
As he was flying away towards the mountain that the castle was propped up on the ledge of, Tai screamed.
"See ya back at the castle fucker!"
Before going back inside and getting applauded for his deed to society.
Luna walked up and applauded him for getting the armour back.
After giving her a blank stare for a while she explained that before he left for two thousand years, he and Tanner were the guardians of all things good and that was what their cutie marks meant, and that the armour and sword is from legend and are both very powerful, but before she went farther into that she decided to let the memory come back on its own.
The rest of the party was fun but eventually, it was over, and they had to say their thank yous and goodbyes.
But before they left, Tai noticed that the new princess twilight was giving Autumn, who was asleep on Tai's back, an angry scowl.
Tai decided to make fun.
"Aww, is someone upset because my filly became an alicorn like 16 years younger than you did?" He asked very teasingly, earning a laugh from everyone in the room and then heading for the castle.
When they got there, Luna lowered the moon so that the sun could come out, then went to breakfast.
While the entire nut ball family including Autumn, Tai, Tanner, Lulu, and Celly ate their breakfast, a guard came rush in to the hall
Reporting that Prince BlBlue blood had somehow gotten stuck in the bricks of the observatory tower.
While Tanner and Celly just looked very confused, Luna and Tai were giggling like mad.
"And the kick is good" he said making a clever football reference which only he and Tanner got.
Eventually the three made their way back to their tower, so they can sleep.
After Autumn was in bed and it was Tai's turn, he was still very reluctant for some reasons but he was starting to get over it.
But what really did it was when Luna said that if he did not get in the bed, she would go outside, go to a store, buy a sofa, so she could come back here and make him sleep on it.
With that he got back into the bed with her.
But as soon as he did, she grabbed him in another death hug, this time making sure to be at eye level.
"Really" was all that Tai said as she shrugged and gave him a deep kiss before saying.
"Never letting go"
With that they fell asleep in each other warm embrace.
It was around two in the afternoon when Tai woke up realizing the he was not in Luna's death hug anymore.
He was about to shrug it off assuming she was getting some water or something until he heard a faint crying from the bathroom.
He immediately got up and slowly trotted up to the door before he knocked on it.
"Luna? Luna re you alrig-
Before he could finish the door was yanked open, he was pulled in, and the door closed behind him.
Luna was now giving him another death hug while sobbing into his shoulder.
He returned the hug and asked her what was wrong.
She calmed down a little but was still lightly crying before pouring her heart out.
"I-i don't know what to do Nightfall, I don't know w-what to do" she replied stuttering between sniffs.
"What do you mean?" He asked very confused
She gave a few more rounds of tears before replying.
W-we *sniff* we were supposed to get married Nightfall."
He just gave a confused look.
"So?"
"W-we were suppose to get married n the first day of fall, and it *sniff* was going to be the happiest day of my life, but the day before the wedding*sniff*you... y-you disappeared for two thousand years, and I was sad and alone *sniff* and when you came back, I felt so happy that I could marry you on the spot, but, you had lost your memory, you forgot how much you loved me, *sniff* you forgot how much I loved you, how will I marry you now if you don't remember?" She cried now sobbing into his shoulder again.
Tai felt heart broken, if she went through all of this suffering and emotional pain waiting for him to come back t her, he had to repay, she truly did love him, and so did he.
"Luna, if everything I've seen and lived is true, and you care for me as much as you say you do, than it dose not matter if my memory was lost, I will stay with you for the rest of our lives" he said with a whole heart.
Luna looked up at him before asking.
Earlier tonight you had trouble saying I love you, how can you really love me let alone be prepared to marry me if you can't even do that? I'll just have to face it, I lost my chance when I let go". She said very darkly.
Tai , not knowing what else to do, just used his hoof to raise her muzzle to his before saying.
"Well, now that you got me back, never let go again"
He then gave her a very deep kiss that left Luna In shock before she happily returned it.
When he pulled away, Luna looked sad, but then remembered something, the first day of fall, was next week, he knew what he had to do to cheer up Luna, something he never thought he would have to do again.
As he pried Luna off of him she have a look that was of absolute hurt before he slowly gave a slight bow, and using his magic to move the hoof with the ring on it into view.
"Luna, will you marry me....for real this time?"
She was godsmacked, she had expected him to just want to avoid her now because of this, but now he was before her with a slight bow, proposimg .... again.
She truly could not be happier than at that moment.
In response she just gave him another kiss and hugged him intending to not let go.... not this time.
Tai only laughed in response.
"Alright come on clingy, let's get back to bed."he suggested.
Luna then gave him big puppy eye's before responding.
"Carry me?" She asked holding her forearms up.
Letting out a sigh he used his wings to pick her up bride style and carry her back to bed where as soon as he got in was pulled into yet another death hug, but this time, he didn't mind and fell back asleep happy, the life crushed out of him, but happy.
However, before he fell asleep, he had to ask.
"Luna?" Who then gave a slight hum as response.
"Who is Nightfall?"
Her eyes shot open at the sudden realization of her mistake.
She started to fumble her words until Tai held a hoof to her mouth and gestured to calm down.
She took a deep breath and sighed.
"I didnt want to bring this to sudden but before you vanished, your name was nightfall, not Tai."
"........... Makes sense"
She giggled at him before snuggling up in response, where within minutes, there was a soft snoring.
And Tai followed in turn.
When they woke up it was around eight and Luna had to raise the moon, afterwards they decided to get a little more shut eye before they had to do anything, that is until they heard a loud 'CRASH' and rushed out to see that an entire set of Armour had been flipped upsidedown and was floating.
"DISCORD!!!!" Luna screamed using the royal Canterlot voice.
Tai could only think of one thing to say.
"Why is it that there is always something that keeps me from sleeping IN!?"
