Luna feels alone
A thousand years ago be Luna turned into Nightmare moon as the story goes she was jealous of her sister but some of that story is missing. The story being told is before during and after Nightmare moons declaration of eternal night. I am MistyMoon ad I'm here to tell you my mother's actual story and what really happened.
Luna felt left out, it seemed Celestia was taking all the glory for raising the sun. She could see no one liked her beautiful night. Along a lonely moonlit path Luna walks wishing for someone to share the night with. The path opens into starlight pool shimmering like the stars. "This glen is beautiful if only there was someone who loved the night like I did?" Luna asks not expecting an answer. Rustling from the bushes near by sent the Princess on edge wondering who or what was out there.
"I-I thought I-I was the only one who enjoyed the night?" the voice was deep but very shy and timid. "Who's there?" Luna asks lighting the near by darkness with her horn. A young unicorn stallion walks out of the bushes his coat colored of black liquid gold and his mane and tail like starlight. His eyes were a pale blue. The Princess of the moon lower her guard slightly taking a couple steps closer to the stallion. "Who are you?" she asks lowering her horn light a little. "I-I'm Staris I bring out the stars after the moon rises," Staris' voice quivered slightly wondering if this mare would hurt him. "I am Princess Luna Princess Celestia's little sister I raise the moon at night," Luna introduces herself to the stallion smiling gently. Staris bowed and kissed Princess Luna's hoof smiling a shy smile. "It's an honor to met the princess of the moon," Staris says standing up straight. "Please call my Luna, would you like to walk with me Staris?" Luna asks relaxing around the starlit stallion. Staris nods smiling as they walked off into the night.
