"Princess? Princess, wake up!" Lila could feel somepony jumping up and down, causing her bed to shake. Or was it even her bed at all?
"Wha- Where are we?" She managed to open her eyes just enough to see three other ponies staring at her. They appeared to be in a large office, filled with cameras and monitors. There were drawings everywhere, each one different in it's own way. They each had a small filly or colt playing with a robot-like thing. Some had the robot of a brown earth pony stallion wearing a black bow tie and a top hat. His cutie mark was a microphone. A few of the drawings had a purple unicorn stallion with a red bow tie and a music note cutie mark. Most had a yellow pegasus mare wearing a bib that said "LET'S EAT" with two drum sticks for a cutie mark. There was one that had none of these robots, though. One had a red earth pony stallion with an eye patch. The pirate seemed to be broken, as he had cracks and tears all over his suit, revealing the wiring inside him. The office also held a cupcake with big, blue eyes, and a poster of three of the robots from the drawings.
As Lila looked out the door, she could see a long hallway filled with the same drawings as before, but this time there was something wrong about them. One showed the brown pony getting his head torn off, with two labels that said "ME" and "FREDDY FAZBEAR". Another had the torn pirate biting a filly. The drawing had "THE BITE OF '87" written across the top. Lila read each of the drawings, hoping to learn all the robots' names. There was Freddy Fazbear, Chica, and Bonnie. None of the drawings revealed the name of the red broken pirate stallion. Walking down the hall, the grey and yellow unicorn who woke up Lila noticed something very strange.
"Princess, Mommy, Daddy! Come look!"
"What is it, Dinky?" A grey cross-eyed pegasus flew to Dinky's side and placed a wing on her shoulder. "Is something wrong?"
"Mommy, it's the ponies from the pictures!" she pointed to three robot ponies. Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie!"
Lila looked around to see if she could find the other one. "Where's the red one?" she looked at the three ponies beside her. She opened her mouth to speak, but stopped when a shadow appeared of a pony standing behind her. "That's him now, isn't it?"
The robot smiled at Lila, but turned away when he heard the sound of his "friends" waking up. He spoke in a rough, but welcoming voice. "Oh no. They're activating. Stay here, and whatever you do, do not leave this corner."
"Wait!" Lila reached to grab his shoulder. "What's your name?"
He hesitated, but finally replied, "You can call me Foxy." With this, Foxy ran off to distract the other animatronics.
"What are you hiding?" Freddy walked circles around Foxy, watching his every move.
"What do you mean 'hiding'?"
"Why are you dodging the question?" He grabbed Foxy by his ear, and threw him onto a table. "You think you can escape by acting like I'm crazy? You know as well as I, you will never be on top. You will never lead. You will always be the murderous outcast who nearly killed an innocent filly by biting off her brain!"
"Get off of me! You do not know me! I'm not trying to take your place! All I want is to show everypony the real me!"
"This is the real you. You are and always were a monster!"
"I am not!" Foxy squeaked, tears streaming out of his eyes. "If you're referring to the...bite,.... it wasn't my fault! If it were, why do you think I'm broken? Why do you think I avoid you wherever I go? Why do you think I can't look at anypony without crying?" He rose to his hooves, showing Freddy he was bigger than him. "You are the one responsible for all of this! You need me to keep the pizzeria from being shut down! I risk my life every day to keep this place running!"
"But you don't need to! You're wrong! I don't need your help!"
"You do! You even built yourself a slave, because you know I could take you down at any moment! Ever heard of Golden?"
"You don't mean......."
"I do. Golde-"
"Don't you dare say it!"
"-n Fr-"
"Stop!"
"-ed-"
"No! Please! Don't say it!"
"-dy."
"Why would you say his name?! Do you know what you have just done?"
"I don't, but if it annoys you, I don't ca-" Foxy was interrupted when the lights flashed and a loud moan erupted from the kitchen.
"NO! Foxy, quick! Grab something big and heavy!"
"Like what?" Foxy looked around the party room. "There isn't much in here that's heavy!"
"Well, then get over here and help me keep this door closed!" Freddy ran to the large kitchen door and peeked through the keyhole to see Golden Freddy. "Hurry!"
Before Foxy could reach, the door flung open revealing a robot similar to Freddy, but yellow and blue instead of brown and black. It disappeared leaving Foxy and Freddy alone in the Party Room. Chica walked in, staring at the open door, the party hats scattered everywhere, and a small trickle of blood coming from the East Hall door. "Uh, Bonnie?" she called to someone backstage.
"What is it, Chica?" A stallion's voice yelled back.
"I think we've got a problem!"
"What kind of problem?"
"A Golden problem!" Chica turned around as Bonnie charged through the curtain to see what was going on.
"Who's in the hall?" He stared at the thick red pool.
Foxy bolted to the door to make sure everypony was okay. "What happened? Is everyone alright?"
Dinky looked up, holding her hoof to her muzzle. "Nosebleed. Nothing serious."
"Oh thank Celestia. I though Gold- I mean- uh..... he.... got in here."
"Who's he?" Lila tilted her head slightly. "Why can't you say his name?"
"I can't tell." Foxy lowered his ears in fear, "I'm sorry."
"Mommy, what's gonna happen to us?" Dinky looked up to her mother who kept glancing nervously at the mysterious brown pony, who Lila hadn't been able to get much information about.
"I- I'm not sure." Derpy held her daughter close to protect her. She opened her mouth to say more, but was interrupted.
"A-HA! I've got it! According to- oh... oh dear. This.... this can't be right..." The earth pony waved a metal stick in the air that looked a bit like a flashlight. As he looked into it, his face changed from confusion, to frustration, to anger, to worry. "I can't seem to get a reading on which universe we're in..."
"What are you even talking about?" Lila, nearly falling out of her seat, spun around to look at him.
"Doctor?" Derpy let go of Dinky to trot over to the stallion. "How is this possible? I thought-"
"I know, but I just can't do it."
At that moment, Foxy bust through the door, a horrified look on his face."Everypony, hide! Quickly!" He moved the large crate in the corner on the room, revealing a hidden tunnel leading to who knows where. After everyone was in, the crate was placed back in it's original position, like it had never moved at all.
"Foxy, what's going on? I know you're trying to hide something from me. WHAT IS IT?"
