Chapters Tinted Dawn - Work at the factory
Chapter one
Tinted Dawn had been working at the rainbow factory for a year now. Slowly ranking up among the lower factory staff she was a few months away from ranking into the newer upper factory where the spectra was extracted from the failed pegasi.
The mare was very excited about the leap up from her comrades be low her. At the same time she was very frightened of the work in the upper factory.
The Next few months went by like a blur and at some times painfully slow.
Before she knew what was happening on the day she was going to move to the upper factory she was jabbed with a needle while she was going for a small lunch break.
The next thing she knew she was lying in a bed in a furbished room where the clouds in the walls were whiter than her last room. There was even a small coffee maker sitting on a dresser of clean lab coats.
Suddenly, catching Tinted Dawn by surprise, the door swung open. A grey-blue stallion with a brown mane and tail stepped in.
As she zipped up the lab coat she thought back to her first day, she was marenapped out of her own room. When she awoke in her tiny room in the lower factory all she heard was
“now a rainbow’s tail isn’t quite as nice as the story we knew of sugar and spice. But a rainbow easy once you get to know it with the help of the magic of the Pegasus device... ”
She was frozen when she heard a knock on the door. She quickly zipped up the coat and opened the door. There stood Rainbow Dash in a blood stained lab coat.
The first thing any pony said was…”Welcome to the upper factory sis,” Rainbow Said to Tinted dawn.
Tinted dawn embraced her long lost sister with tears in her eyes. A tear also escaped rainbows eye. The two hugged for what seemed like hours.
Dawn was the one to break the hug. “I’m so happy to see you finally Dashie. You were missing for years. Why didn't you come home Mom and Dad were so worried” Dawn said
“Were?” Dashed asked in confusion
“I don’t know how to say this but here I go,” dawn replied “ mom and dad Died years ago peacefully in their sleep after the final search for you…”
A tear escaped dawns eye but dash had tears flowing down her cheeks, Holding Dash in her arms Dawn tried to calm her little sister down but to no avail. When Dash finally calmed down. Her lab coat was stained with tears.
Dawn let her use one of her new Coats as her new one. She than asked rainbow dash what her job was.
“I’m the head of the factory” Dash said between sobs.
“I had no idea,” her voice trailed off “But, I was wondering if I could possibly see the sun for one last time”
“Anything for you, you can even live with me in my house.” Dash said perking up “I’m one of the only ponies that can leave the factory”

The First failure that she saw was a Filly with a yellow coat and green and blue main and tail, being dragged away by two stallions to her unwisely death.
They stopped at the end of the walk way.”Everypony listen up!” Dash Yelled as every head turned to look. “I would like to introduce everypony to Tinted Dawn, my new
Dawn Blushed at the way her little sister had put her in rank; from the bottom to the top in no less than half an hour.
She saw professor Ozone’s face in the crowd He was enraged.
”Now everypony back to work!” Dashed yelled
As they walked back along the walk way they were approached by angry ozone. “How could you do that to me!” he screamed, causing dawn to step back and whimper.
“You what!” ozone said in an Angry tone
“If you keep screaming and talking like that to me and my sister, you will be handed over to the Pegasus devices. If you know what I mean,”
Ozone stepped back at his boss’s threat.
“Understood”
Dash and Dawn started walking again heading to the Pegasus devices. To start the hard day’s work.
Dash Pointed at a lever that connected to the chains holding the filly. And with tears in her eyes Dawn flipped the lever. As the filly dropped into the machine she heard a soft
Dash Put her Wing over Dawn. “I know it hurts but you will get used to it,”
After a few more Pegasus failures were ground, it was time to head home. Dash walked dawn back to her room to have her change out of the now blood stained jacket. After
“This way, I don’t live too far from here,” Dash said with a scared-Loving tone in her voice. She was also still in the jacket “Now that you live with me you need to meet my “Friends”,” Dash Said with an annoyed tone in her voice
After about 15 minutes of Flying they touched down on the large cloud home.
“Yep, and now it’s also your home so make yourself at home,” Dash said with pride.
“So soft, I haven’t gotten a goodnight sleep for a year,” Dawn said Sinking into the bed made of clouds.
“Hey Dawn” Dash yelled “Come over here!”
“Okay” Dawn yelled back jumping out of the bed, flying to the room across from dash’s bedroom. In the Large room there was nothing but four walls a celling and a floor.
“This is where you can sleep and have some of your belongings. Speaking of witch, I meant to ask you something.”
“Ask Away little sis,” Dawn said
“Did you have a family when you were marenapped?”
Dawn Sighed “Yes I did, a colt friend and a little Colt named Rainbow Dawn. I named him after you, somehow he has your mane and tail and my coat. He is also about to take his flight test. So I was wondering if He fails that we can spare him somehow, like,” Dawn Paused to think about how to put the next sentence “he can calm down the fillies and colts so they don’t freak out or something.” Dawn said with desperation and a sad tone in her voice, a tear rolled down dawn’s cheek
“I can have him be “Ground” The day after he arrives if he does fail. Then I can Take him to my house where you both can live and he will have to be home schooled. But that will be hard because you work for me…” Dawn Interrupted “We could hire someone from the factory to teach him here while we work”
“But who would? First they would need to be Sane and actually have a degree in something. Someone like janitor ozone” Dawn and Dash started rolling around on the floor laughing when there was a
“Quick hide!” Dash said urgently and practically jumped out of the lab coat
She zoomed to the front door. Only to see Twilight standing there with a confused look on her face.
“I can explain the mare” Dash said in defeat “Dawn you can come down now” Dash yelled upstairs. Soon Dawn came down stairs and stood beside Dash Putting her wing around her.
“Dawn, Meet Twilcorn” Dash said with a little giggle
“Dash, you know I hate it when you call me that. Anyway nice to meet you…” twilight said
“well nice to meet you tinted dawn, as you heard my name is twilight sparkle” twilight said with dignity “and dash what about that lab coat?” twilight asked as dawn glared at dash
“Whoops what? You can tell me dash, I’m your friend” Twilight said eagerly
“Sorry twi, confidential information.” Dash said in a sour manor
“Oh, alright” Twilight said disappointed as she flew back to her cloud to continue reading…

“well you certainly handled that,” Dawn said looking at her sister. “And how in the world are you friends with an Alicorn!” Dawn said with disbelief
After about an hour of sitting around…
“Um, I was wondering if i could visit my coltfriend and my little colt? I don’t live too far from here.” Dawn said looking at a far off house “Sure,” Dash said smiling “I want to meet my sister’s family after all I need a…” Dash’s eyes widen as the memories of Scootaloo came flowing back to her, She placed a hoof on her head. “um nevermind about that last part, but I still want to meet them” Dash said face towards the cloud they were standing on. As they left the house.
“Lead the way,” dash said looking up at her sister. “Keep up with me than” Dawn said as she launched herself from the cloud at amazing speed that nopony even Rainbow dash could match
At Tinted Dawns Old House...
“I’M HOME!” Rainbow Dawn shouted as he closed the door behind him, after a hard day at flight school.
“I’m in the kitchen!” Unknown Photo called back “We are in the kitchen” A female voice called out
Suddenly a knock came from the door “I got it,” Rainbow Dawn yelled
As he opened the door to see who it was, he just stood there with wide eyes and a huge smile on his face
“I love you too hun, um could you let me go I need some oxygen now” Dawn said
The colt lept of his mother then hugged her leg as she walked in.
“Unknown?” Dawn said. With no reply she asked rainbow dawn “Where’s dad?”
“Last I heard, the kitchen.” Rainbow Dawn replied as his mother walked to the kitchen
She just stood there mouth agape as she saw her coltfriend hugging another mare.
“you little mothe...” she stops before she continues the sentence, so she doesn’t curse around Rainbow Dawn.
Unknown Photo Looked up seeing her standing there. “t-t-this isn't what you think.” The Colt said Shaking in fear
“Rainbow Dash, now!” Dawn yelled In tears, as the door broke down and the cyan and rainbow mare Stepped in in a blood stained Lab jacket.
Rainbow Dawn hid from the cyan mare behind her mother “Its alright My little colt she won't hurt us, but as for your father and his new marefriend” she looked at the cowering couple
She began to sing “In the Rainbow factory where your fears and horrors come true, In the rainbow factory where not a single soul gets through” She than lets out a cackle as Rainbow Dash drags the two pegasi out the door in chains. The colt whimpers at this new side of his mother running to his room locking the door, Then starts to cry.
As Dawn Cools her jets she realises what she has done and breaks down crying.
15 minutes later…
“Dawn?!” Rainbow Dash said running over to her sister “What? Whats wrong?”
“I-I-I Just hurt Rainbow Dawn…” She said standing up Looking up at Rainbow, with a tear stained face
“I'll go get him…” Rainbow said “Which room is his?”, “Last door on the left…” Dawn replied
Down the hall at the last door on the left…
“Rainbow? Rainbow Dawn?” Dash said knocking at the door
“Go away!, I don’t want to talk to anyone right now!” He Said sharply
“But don't you want to meet your aunt?” Rainbow Dash said in a caring tone
“ I don't have an aunt! just go away…” He said back to her
“I'm your aunt, silly. Now open this door so i can hug you and make sure you're safe,” she said sternly to him
He considered it then trotted up to the door unlocking it. His ears laid flat against his head as he saw the Cyan mare (Still in the lab coat).
“Ye-ye-yes mam,” he said shakily, while saluting with his left wing
“Good, now your mother need a hug from you,” dash said looking down the hall where Dawn was , still crying...
