Chapter 1: The beginning.
When the world was young, there were four powerful beings. They were known as the lords of Equestria. These lords used their power to breathe life into the world, unknowingly that a fifth lord was breathing life. The four lords: Galaxia, the Equine lord, Grixis, the Griffon lord, Drakion, the Dragon lord, and Symphony, the Siren lord. These lords shaped the land of the elements. Under the shadows lied Crytalis, the Changeling lord, who corrupted the dark side of the planet. The four lords, unknowingly what is happening breathed life to their respective races. During their final hours of shaping the world, they took a piece of their powers to create the heart of Equestria. A source of the worlds magic, or it should have been if Crytalis hadn't discovered what they were doing and fused his own power into the heart. Too late to reverse the process, the four lords had broken the heart of Equestria into five shards and hidden them within their own territories.
Symphony hidden the heart of the Sirens deep in the ocean, Drakion had given his most powerful of dragons the honor of safekeeping the heart of dragons, Grixis has infused the heart of the Griffons within a chosen Griffon, Galaxia had bestowed the heart of the Equines to the line of royalties starting with Queen Starshine and King Nyx. Crytalis placed his heart within the massive hive of ritoulis.
-1,000,000 years later-
It had been 3 months since the battle of the bands and things are returning to normal in CHS. At least as normal as things get in a world that is connected to Equestria. Sunset Shimmer wrote to Twilight Sparkle on a weekly basis to check up on things and telling her on her lessons in friendship. She and her friends: Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Apple Jack, Fluttershy, and Rarity practice in their band: The Rainbooms after school with tech help from Vinyl Scratch, a local DJ and music mixer. Life in CHS is getting back on track, but not everyone is as happy as the Rainbooms.
The Dazzlings, former Sirens had it rough after the event. Not everyone is eager to forgive on what they had done. A lot of the students would give them condescending looks but some of them would go out of their way to bully them or worst, physically injure them. It was one thing to lose their pendants containing their powers, but to be beaten senseless and constantly reminded of their past deeds were a whole other story. Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna were of no help either, and it's not like they can ask the Rainbooms for help.
One morning, the three were running late for school. Their apartment was small and shabby as they have no family in this world and it's better than living out on the streets. Adagio, Aria and Sonata ran as fast as they could to make it to school on time. The weather outside was dreadful as it was raining heavily and thunder and lightning flashed and boomed in the distance.
They had made it to the school yard when they ran into Flash Sentry and three diggers calling themselves diamond dogs. "Look who decided to show up to school," Flash Sentry said. The Dazzlings were cold, wet and scared as out of the students who had bullied them, Flash Sentry is the worst. He took it upon himself to dish out "punishment" for their actions, not knowing what Twilight Sparkle would do. His posse, the diamond dogs are brutes to say the least. "And here I thought you three would have grown a brain when we imply that we don't want you here."
Thunder crashes as Flash Sentry and the diamond dogs cracked their knuckles. Sunset shimmer was watching at a distance, hoping not to get involved in this. Confused, she ran inside the school and rushed to her locker. Inside was a book with her cutie mark on it. She scribbled a letter to Twilight Sparkle about the situation and closed it.
-Ponyville-
Day to day operations as the Princess of Friendship of Equestria is a bit dull. Though there are times when something comes up that needs solving, the most Twilight Sparkle and her friends deal with are usual politics and their own day to day activities.
Twilight was busy in her downtime reading books and practicing and honing her alicorn magic. Apple Jack spends some of her time helping her family out at her farm of Sweet Apple Acres. Fluttershy herds little woodland creatures and cares for them in her shack near the Everfree Forest. Pinkie Pie is doing whatever a Pinkie pie does while Rainbow Dash practice her flying to fulfill her dream of joining the Wonderbolts. Rarity is always busy making outfits her clients and Spike is always willing to help her in the tasks because he would do anything for his love.
A usual day was going on in Ponyville until Twilight heard a faint vibrating noise in the library. She used her magic to levitate the book that Princess Celestia had given her that lets her keep tabs on her friends in Canterlot High. Opening the book, she flipped through th pages to find the latest entry from Sunset Shimmer. What she read was disturbing.
Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle,
I am writing to you because I have distressing news involving Flash Sentry. I have spotted him in front of the school bullying the Dazzlings and not in a verbal way. From what I have currently witnessed as I am writing this, he and the diamond dogs are currently using physical force on the three former sirens. This has me worried. Flash is not the type of guy to have a sense of vengeance and I am scared to think what he would do if he had spotted me. In fact, as I am writing, I saw Rainbow Dash trying to defend them but Flash over powered her and they took her and Sonata Dusk into his car. Please come as quick as possible.

Twilight Sparkle re read the whole letter to see if she had missed anything. She paced around the library. "I need to leave asap. But first, I will need somepony to watch over things while I am gone, but Rarity has too much to do and Spike is helping her that I can't bring myself to ask him to send a letter to Princess Celestia explaining how I broke the rules of magic and created a machine that forces the portal open and potentionally leave that world vulnerable to Equestrian dark magic."
Twilight spent the next two ours thinking until she slapped herself silly. "What am I thinking? Sunset Shimmer needs me. Rainbow Dash need me. And whether they like it or not, the Sirens need me. I can't let them down." Twilight sped to the portal and placed the book on the machine to draw power from. "Sorry everypony," Twilight muttered to herself. "I have to do this myself." She jumped through the portal.
The school yard is drenched in rain when Twilight made it through. Sunset Shimmer was waiting for her. "Welcome back," Sunset said to her friend. "I wish I can have you over at a time where we don't need your help. Come on, I got everyone in the music room. I told Principal Celestia that we need it for an emergency band meeting."
Without warning, Sunset grabbed Twilight's arm and raced inside and down the halls to the music room. Once they were inside, Sunset slammed and locked the door. Apple Jack, Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinkie Pie were sitting on one side of the room while Adagio Dazzle and Aria Blaze were sitting on the other side. Apple Jack spoke out first. "If you three hadn't controlled everyone's minds, then you wouldn't have gotten so much hate!" The others agreed with Apple Jack.
"Quite. Only lowly creatures like you could have ever thought that turning everyone against each other for your own personal gain would expect forgiveness." Rarity spoke. Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle didn't say anything and sat in the middle.
"Girls, what is with you?" Sunset spoke out. Silence fell as everyone focused on Sunset. "Yes, the Dazzlings had done some bad things, but that is not important. What is important is that Flash Sentry has kidnapped Rainbow Dash and Sonata Dusk and we need to go after him."
Pinkie looked at Sunset intensely. "Says the girl who wrecked everything in a matter of years!" The whole room was arguing among Twilights friends. The only ones not arguing were Adagio, Aria and Sunset who sunk into their seats. "Something is wrong here. Why is everyone so vengeful? It can't be the sirens as even if they had their magic, then there would be no reason to have everyone hate them, That means Flash is not himself." Twilight signaled Sunset, Adagio and Aria out of the room silently while the others argued.
"Sunset Shimmer, there are guards in this world?" Twilight asked. Sunset Shimmer took out her phone. "Yeah. I can contact Captain Shining Armor to investigate where they are at." Adagio spoke out. "Twilight Sparkle, why are you doing this? I know you want to help Rainbow Dash, but why help Sonata as well?" Aria and Adagio were showing signs of concern and sadness about Sonata. Sure she was a ditz, but she was the only one they got. "It should be obvious," Twilight told them. "We're friends and that's what friends do. I always make sure to use the magic within to spread the magic of friendship even to those who considered themselves enemies. And now we got to do whatever we can to help Sonata and Rainbow Dash any way we can."
Moments later outside, 3 cop cars shown up in front of the school. Captain Shining Armor walked up to the school where Sunset Shimmer, Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze and Twilight Sparkle waited. "I got a call about a kidnapping." He spoke. Sunset nodded and pointed him to where the incident took place. "Get me Professor Twilight Sparkle here. She will need to see this." Shining Armor examined the blood stains that led to the portal.
A car drove by and who came out was a surprise to Twilight. She looks similar to herself. "Did you spot that strange anomaly yet, brother?" The human Twilight asked. "I can't figure out what this strange aura is that surrounds the blood. I need you to take a sample of it."
Twilight took a knife and a small plastic bag. "I don't mean to intrude, but shouldn't we focus more on rescuing Sonata Dusk and Rainbow Dash from Flash Sentry? Not taking samples?" Sunset told Shining Armor. "Right, of course. I will need to know what car he drives and I will get patrols on the lookout."
Sunset sighed and described the car. Shining Armor wrote everything down and relayed the information to his fellow officers. "I will need to talk to Principal Celestia about what has happened. As far as I am aware, school is on lockdown until Flash Sentry is apprehended and you four are going to the station to answer some questions.
None of them wanted to wait around in the station wile Flash is doing who knows what to Rainbow Dash and Sonata Dusk. They must find a way to distract them, even if it means that they might have to reveal the portals location. But Twilight thought to herself, the lives of her friends are more important than a portal.
Twilight tapped the other Twilights shoulder. "Hey uh, other me." She said anxiously. "I know where you can find the biggest anomaly. It is right here. This portal leads to another world." Skeptical, the other Twilight reached her hand to the portal and found that the statue was not at all what it seemed. "This is the biggest find of my life! I will need everyone to help me quarantine this area for further study." She told the officers.
"Okay. While they are distracted, now's our chance." Twilight told her friends. The four snuck past everyone and decided that they will find Flash Sentry by themselves.
-meanwhile-
Flash Sentry had locked Rainbow Dash and Sonata Dusk in the trunk as he and the diamond dogs rode through the city. "Dammit!" muttered Flash Sentry. "If that rainbow brat hadn't gotten in our way, we would have dealt justice to those sirens, but I suppose taken one of them would send a stronger message." Flash spent half an hour driving until he found an abandoned warehouse. "This will do. Get those two out and hang them up on whatever is around."
The diamond dogs grew from confident to confused. It was true that everyone wanted revenge for what the sirens had done. But to go as far as kidnapping? They shook off the feeling and dragged Rainbow Dash and Sonata Dusk inside the warehouse. The place was a mess. Rusted pillars and metals, rotting floors and broken windows. No wonder why this was condemned.
"Fetch me anything I can use to "entertain" my guests." Flash ordered. The Diamond dogs complied and scoured the warehouse for anything that Flash would want. In the mean time, Flash walked p to his victims and slapped them awake. Wake up, Siren. And you to, traitor!" Shouted Flash.
Sonata and Rainbow opened their eyes to see that they are not at school. Te Diamond dogs returned with an armful of equipment. Flash sorted through them and dug out a baseball bat with rusty nails, a crowbar, a hook and a dull carving knife. "What kind of warehouse is this?" Flash thought out loud. "It is a gold mine of weapons." Flash took the bat and hit Sonata in the gut. The nails punctured through her flash as he retracted it, blood gushed out.
Flash repeated the assault a few times. The look on Rainbows face was horrific as blood squirted on his face. "Your turn, Dashie." Flash said. He swung the bat at Rainbow Dash, but it broke after the first swing. "Looks like we are going for the crowbar then. You three. Set them down and remove the splinters from Rainbow Dash. I want to enjoy this. I will be back in ten minutes."
The Diamond dogs let them down to the ground. Sonata groan in pain and Rainbow Dash tried to ignore it. "Why?" Rainbow spoke. One of them heard. "Why help Flash? I know you. You wouldn't do this, not even Flash himself. There is something wrong." The tallest Diamond dog spoke to her. "We are no good at making decisions on our own but the moment that Flash wanted us to get these things, we are hesitant to help but we are not smart enough to beat him."
Rainbow Dash smiled. "Good thing I have friends who will be on their way to help." Flash Sentry came back with a few more items: A gas can, a wash cloth, as well as a car battery and jumper cables. "Got a few more tings for the fun boys." Flash said. He set them aside and picked up the crowbar. "Which one should I do first? I am not done with you, traitor but then again. My intention was on the Siren so I think I should go for the Siren." Flash smacked Sonata repeatedly with the crowbar.
Rainbow Dash cried out "No! Stop! Do me, not her! I can take it! Please just stop!" Flash pretended not to hear as he continued to hit Sonata. Bones could be heard breaking as Sonata was coughing blood. "Don't go out on me now, Siren." Flash hissed. "We're just getting started. Besides, what's a few shattered bones and broken ribs that can stop my fun?"
-the chase-
Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Aria Blaze and Adagio Dazzle climbed into Vinyl's car as they sped to search for their friends. "Aria," Sunset spoke. "Aren't Cell phones able to track other phones?" Aria tried and dialed Sonata's number. The phone rang and someone picked it up. "This is NOT Sonata Dusk, if this is the rest of the Sirens though, I am waiting at the abandoned warehouse at the edge of the city." Flash Sentry crushed the phone and the line went dead.
"He is having them at the abandoned warehouse at the edge of the city. Anyone know what it is?" Aria asked. Sunset answered the question. "It used to be a car factory until it was closed down after a handful of murders. It remains abandoned to this day. And now we know where. What's the plan Twilight?" Sunset asked. Twilight thought long and hard on this and replied. "We go in and stop Flash Sentry from doing any more harm. Aria, call the hospital in case we need it and Adagio, inform the police on the location. Sunset Shimmer and I will try to save them."
Within ten minutes, they have arrived at the warehouse. The place resonated an aura of foreboding but none of them cared. They came for one reason only. To save their friends. Twilight and Sunset ran to the other end of the warehouse and silently opened the door. They could hear faint groans and cries of pain as well as loud banging of metal. They hid around the corner and saw Rainbow Dash and Sonata Dusk in bad shape. Flash Sentry took the carving knife and stabbed Sonata before doing the same to Rainbow Dash. He was careful not to hit anywhere vital as he wanted them alive for the whole thing.
Twilight Sparkle signaled Sunset shimmer to hide on the other side and get the diamond dogs attention. "If we can get the three out of the way, then taking Flash out will be easier than having to contend to all of them at once." Sunset picked up a rock and tossed it to the largest diamond dog who, with the other two, went to investigate when they were jumped by the two heroes.
The diamond dogs didn't put up much of a fight when they realize who they were. "We made bad mistake. Flash made us do it. Something not right with Flash or anyone else. We are not smart enough to be affected what whatever black smoke was and Rainbow one too loyal to be affected."
"If you're telling the truth, then why haven't you stopped him?" Sunset asked. "We are too afraid." The three of them begged. "Well, looks like we got to do this alone. Good thing I have you with me, Twilight." Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle took position behind Flash as he was distracted and pounced.
"What's going on?" Flash roared. "Let go of me and I will make sure that you won't suffer as long as those two are!" Twilight was frantic. Without her unicorn magic, she cannot dispel whatever it was that has hold of him. He hurled Sunset shimmer against a pillar and fell unconscious as the rusted pillar toppled on top of her. What came next was a loud shaking. The place was falling apart. Flash opened his eyes and seen that he had gotten stronger.
"This is what I am talking about." Flash shouted as he tried to fling Twilight off of him but to no avail. "Flash!" Twilight shouted to his ear. "This isn't you! Snap out of it! You are not a monster! It's not too late to change things. Just please come to your senses.!" Twilight cried. Her tears fell on Flash's shoulder. Flash Sentry reached for Twilight and tossed her out through the wall and slammed hard on his car.
After a careful gaze on who he had thrown, Flash had lost his rage. He called out to her but Twilight didn't respond. The dark magic was dissipating as he shrunk to normal size. Diamond dogs lifted the pillar and dragged Sunset Shimmer out and lifted both Rainbow Dash and Sonata Dusk on their shoulders and walked out. Flash who fell silent declined to be helped and urged them to leave him to die as a final act of retribution. "I have no idea what I have done until it was too late. I let my hate and anger take control and I have done horrible atrocities. I am not back with you. This place shall be my tomb." Flash grabbed the hook and impaled his heart with it as the building fell down.
The ambulance and police vehicles arrived and taken the diamond dogs into custody who didn't resisted arrest. Sonata Dusk, Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer were taken to the hospital but no sign of Twilight Sparkle. Adagio and Aria scouted around the wreckage and saw her laying next to Flash Sentry's car. both of them lifted Twilight and carried her back. Even though Twilight is unconscious, they can tell she is suffering from the depression of what Flash had done.

Chapter 2: The unknown
The situation at the warehouse was hectic as emergency vehicles and reporters swarmed the fallen building. Police posted "crime scene" tape around the vicinity as to prevent any accidents that may still occur. The reporters were asking anyone around questions on what transpired inside but the Captain Shining Armor responded that "All details will be given at the hearing next week." As if he wanted everyone to stop pestering him while he rounded up a few detectives to gather anything that could give a reason to the sudden attacks. Adagio Dazzle and Aria Blaze watched as EMS response teams carried their sister Sonata Dusk as well as her protector Rainbow Dash into the ambulance as well as seeing Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer. They remained confused. "Why would Rainbow Dash, of all people save them? After the horrible things they have done? " And their thoughts also went to Sunset and Twilight.
Adagio broke their silence. "I just don't get it. We were awful to them and to the school and yet they still wanted to save us. They kept saying that we are friends, but why?" Aria Blaze never thought she had seen Adagio in such distress. As the leader of the Siren group, she would think that Adagio would be calm in all situations, but in this one however, she was frightened and she can understand why. Sonata was in very bad condition from what they saw. Multiple puncture wounds and a few bones sticking out. Doctors had to also use respirators since they sense that her lungs were punctured and ribs broke in several places. Rainbow Dash has a few puncture wounds and a couple of broken bones, but all in all, she was in stable condition. "Guess being an all star athlete has their advantages. " Thought Adagio.
Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer were unconscious. EMS teams found Twilight laying next to Flash Sentry's car. The car was heavily dented and Twilight was unresponsive but she was still alive. Sunset Shimmer was lucky to be alive from the impact of the fallen building. Adagio and Aria requested that they accompany the EMS to the hospital. The teams reluctantly agreed when told that Sonata was their sister and have got them in.
On top of the hill, near the forest, a hooded figure watched as the event took place. He was average height and the cloak made him a little larger than normal. He watched everything in silence until he heard someone coming from behind. The stranger drew his blade and pointed it in the general direction of the unknown person or thing.
"You got good reflexes for such a..." The unknown person was interrupted by what seemed to be a dark hand grabbing his throat. "Not so loud." He told the unknown person. "I know what I am, but we cannot run the chance of everyone knowing." He released the person and walked toward him. The forest was dark as night, but it didn't bother him. Too him, darkness was the only place he could find sanctuary, or at least, it was supposed to be. The unknown person illuminated the small area where they stood so as he could see.
The unknown person lifted his hood to reveal a elderly man whose beard was white as snow. His attire was that of a wizard and his staff looks to be made of mahogany with a sphere of what seemed to be a mix of purple and green. "What do I owe the great Star Swirl the bearded for?" He asked. Star Swirl looked to his sphere and back to the stranger. "I am here to see that destiny has not been interfered, and it looks as if it has already has."
The stranger revealed himself to Star Swirl. His face was pale and eyes red. His hair was pale, but made him look young. "Indeed it has, but not much." He told the wizard. "I have been watching everything. The black aura that surrounds the school, the actions towards the sirens were evidence enough of his return." Star Swirl listened to the stranger.
"It wouldn't surprise me someone like Sombra would act up, but so soon? There must be something going on here. There has to be a connection to this and what is going on in Equestria. I felt it in my bones. Something evil is rising. An evil thought long destroyed. Crytalis. The Changeling Lord. His evil is being awaken after all these years. Surely you have sense it as well, Bloodwing?"
Bloodwing scowled. "I thought we agreed not to call me by name. I am Drifter while in this world. But you are right, Crytalis is stirring and that means Equestria and Earth are in great danger. But with the siren race near extinct by the hands of the Dragons, we cannot obtain the siren soul shard. their last ruler, Chorus died protecting the shrine of song."
"You would know about the forgotten war. You were there." Star Swirl told Drifter. "It is why you silently, distantly watch those three in this world after I have banished them when they misused their power. I brought them here so that they can feed but they cannot gain power."
"I wonder in time, that when they return to Equestria, would they be able to achieve the powers they once had for good, or revert to evil? I hope that what had transpired at their battle of the bands competition would give them a new outlook on things. But nonetheless, Sombra is terrorizing this world and will strike again soon." Drifter walked away from Star Swirl. "I was good to see you again, master." The both bowed and went their separate ways.
Sirens blared as the ambulance drove to the hospital. It was just another day for the EMS teams, but for Adagio and Aria, it was a moment of terror as they were constantly worried about their sister. Sonata lied on the girdle, blood IV connected to her arm to prevent bleed out and pressure was placed on the wounds. "Once we get to the hospital, we will require several tetanus shots. The injury report said rusted metal made the wounds." One EMS told another. The respirator kept air coming in and out to keep the body from being deprived of oxygen.
Once at the hospital, Adagio and Aria went to the waiting room while EMS escorted the four injured students to the emergency room.

Chapter 3: Sombra's Dark Presence
Adagio and Aria waited in the hospitals waiting room, worried. "What if Sonata doesn't make it?" Adagio wondered as she paced around the floor. "I know she was an idiot and a complete worst, but she was never harmful." Aria grew dizzy from watching Adagio pacing and decided to read some magazines. None of the magazines were interesting but that was the way hospitals have them. Aria stood up. "If you need me, I am going to get something to eat at the gas station down the street. I'll get something for you to." Adagio didn't listen, as she was still pacing.
Human Twilight had set up a perimeter around the statue. She had set up tracking beacons and other equipment usually found in Sci-Fi movies around the school. "I don't know what game those girls were trying to pull," Said Human Twilight with her anomaly detector activating. "But whatever this anomaly is, I am going to discover it and no one will think I am insane." She spoke so loudly that it attracted the attention of Principal Celestia.
The tracking beacons glowed brightly and an alarm sounded on the detector as a black aura began to dissipate. "What in the world," Human Twilight stood in wonder as what seems to be a black smoke moved like it had a mind of its own. Human Twilight gave chase until she was stopped by Celestia. "Where do you think you're going?"
Human Twilight turned towards the Principal, her eyes fixed on her stern posture. "I am here on scientific research." She told Celestia. Twilight was sweating. "How could I be so stupid as to not get authorization from the superintendent so's to avoid this situation?" She thought. Principal Celestia approached Twilight when a sudden shock felt upon her body. Celestia was brought to her knees with her hand on her head as if she was having a migraine.
"Weird." Twilight muttered as the strange readings seemed to be receding. Principal Celestia got up to her feet. "What happened? And why do I feel like I have neglected something?" Twilight drew to a conclusion that whatever happened in the school just now seemed to have vanished completely. "Look, Principal Celestia," Twilight lifted her up. "I am a Scientist and I am here to find out the unknown phenomenons that have been occurring at this school so I urge you to cancel school for the next week while I get to work on this."
Principal Celestia understood what she was saying and given the circumstances of weird occurrences going on, she reluctantly agreed and made her way back to her office to give the announcement. "That was easier than I thought." Claimed Twilight.
30 minutes later the school was let out as teens rushed out of the doors and heading for home. Four of them were confused more than any. Fluttershy felt like she had done something awful while Apple Jack and Rarity stood in bewilderment, wondering what was going on and Pinkie Pie didn't seemed to care as she was the first to see Human Twilight. "HEY YOU GUYS! TWILIGHT'S HERE!" She shouted, giving everyone a headache. "Pinkie, dear. Not so loud. I feel like my brain might give out." Rarity held her dead.
The four humans made their way to Human Twilight who was surprised by a surprise Pinkie hug. The rest followed suit and hugged the confused Twilight. "Kinda in my personal space." She tried to pry everyone off of her. "Wait a minute," Apple Jack spoke. "You look kinda different. Got a new sense of style? Like Rarity always say, You can never have too many outfits. "
Everyone laughed except for Twilight. "I know who you are and I can tell you that I am not your Twilight. If you're looking for them, she and a few girls ran off to that abandoned Warehouse a few hours ago this morning. Saying that they needed to help save a couple of their friends." The four of them thanked Twilight and headed off to the destination where she had told them only to find it in ruins.
"Gadzooks," Apple Jack claimed. They were looking at the wreckage and see that Police were still there. "Looks like someone tore this place a new one."
They raced towards the wreckage when they were stopped by an officer. "Woah there, this place is not safe." He told them. They wondered what could have caused this until Rarity spoke. "Our friends were here for some daring rescue and we want to know what happened." Soon enough, detectives found a body and lifted him up. The girls were shocked to see that the body was Flash Sentry. "Hook impaled through the heart, mostly instant death, self inflicted given the position of his arms." One of the detectives announced to Captain Shining Armor. He turned to see a group of teenage girls standing there. "Is there something I can help you with? This place is off limits to civilians."
The girls talked among themselves to determine who would ask. But after much talk, Apple Jack approached Shining Armor. "We was wonderin' if you know what happened here and if you had seen Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle anywhere?" Shining Armor sighed and crossed the tape. "I am sorry to tell you this but Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle are sent to the hospital for their injuries as well as Sonata Dusk and Rainbow Dash. We've apprehended these three as Flash Sentry's accomplices. I can't tell you anything more, but I know two girls went to the hospital. Adagio and Aria I think their names were. They'll they'll tell you."
The four were shocked to hear the Dazzlings names. From what they knew, they were their enemies. And why was Rainbow Dash there? Shining Armor walked over to an empty Police car. "If you want, I can take you girls over there. My part is over anyway as far as the investigation is concerned." They agreed and hopped aboard the Police car and Shining Armor drove off.

Te dark energies retracted to their original host. "Tasty hate." Said a dark growling voice. It stood up and walked over to the hole where there is sunlight. He was tall and dark with glowing green eyes and a malicious smile. His attire was that of an aristocratic vampire with a black cape hanging down to his feet. "These mortals have such strong hatred for these Sirens that I am getting more power every second. Maybe it is time that I remove them from the equation. After all, from the knowledge I have obtained, I would actually be doing this world a service and I can sate my blood lust at he same time." He made a cackling laugh that echoed the empty tunnel.
Shining Armor reached the hospital and dropped them off. "Thank you for the ride." They all said. Shining Armor drove off as they walked in the Emergency room entrance to find Adagio pacing and Aria munching on a bag of Doritos while reading a few manga comics. Apple Jack lifted her sleeves to give them a piece of their mind. Fluttershy hid somewhere so as no one can see her. Pinkie Pie was distracted by the Television to even noticed as Rarity walked up with Apple Jack to the former Sirens. "Alright y'all. You have done something and I want answers!" Apple jack demanded to Adagio.
Adagio stopped her pacing to see Apple Jack and Rarity looking at her with scorn. "I didn't do anything. In fact, your friend Rainbow Dash put her life on the line for us for reasons unknown." Apple Jack looked confused. Adagio didn't sound like her evil self. Perhaps their defeat had taught them humility? "Besides, why would we go out of our way to make Sonata suffer as well as ourselves?"
Apple jack came up an answer "So's to make yerselves out to be the victims, that's why!" Adagio was taken aback. "Excuse me? We may have been trying to get everyone to adore us, but we never abide with self injury just because we became hated. In fact," Her words were cut off as Twilight was the first to come out of the ER. She felt like a donkey kicked her with her hand rubbing her back. She was administered back pads to alleviate the pain.
"Twilight!" They cheered as they embraced their true Twilight in a hug which caused pain/ "Uh, girls. Kinda hurting at the moment." Everyone blushed and backed away. Sunset Shimmer walked in a minute after. She was shaken, but not worst for wear. "Rainbow Dash is in recovery. She's conscious but a bit irritable from the tetanus." Everyone was relieved to know Rainbow Dash was alive until Adagio burst through. "And Sonata? What about her?" Sunset was surprised to see Adagio but remained her composure. "Sonata will be just fine. They had a lot of work on her and she is resting in the same room as Rainbow Dash. She is unconscious but we can still see her."
Everyone followed Sunset Shimmer to room 25 on the 3rd floor to see Rainbow Dash laying in bed. Next to her resting was Sonata Dusk. She had various machines attached to her to monitor blood, heart and breathing. "Hey guys." Rainbow said weakly as they all walked in. Twilight, Sunset, Rarity, Apple Jack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie sat around Rainbow Dash while Adagio and Aria sat beside Sonata. Rarity was the first to speak. "What happened to you darling? You look dreadful."
Rainbow Dash told them how she had covered the Dazzlings when Flash and the diamond dogs were beating on them and how he had abducted both her and Sonata to the warehouse to be tortured. "I was lucky that I am resilient. Too bad about Sonata though, Flash had her as his primary target. Saying that he wanted to cleanse the evil that they caused."
Sunset Shimmer took a second to check up on Sonata. "You two do know that Rainbow Dash think of you three as friends right? That's why she ran over to cover you girls." Adagio and Aria were silent as they watched Sonata with hopelessness in their eyes. "Hey, everything is going to be OK. I had a hard time knowing what friendship meant." Adagio broke the silence. "Why? Why us? After the horrible stuff we did, you still call us friends?" She was spilling in tears. "All this friendship thing. It's not known to us. We only knew how to spread hate and distrust. It was we were born to do. We know nothing about friendship! We don't even know who we are anymore!"
Sunset hugged the hurt Adagio who was surprised. "Which is why we are alike and why we are friends. I never knew friendship until Twilight came along. I wanted nothing more than to conquer everything, but Twilight taught me that there is another way to being accepted and adored and that is through the magic of friendship and that is what we were teaching you three. I still have a lot to learn, but together, we can redeem ourselves."
Aria joined in on the hug and soon, everyone else did as they surround Adagio and Aria in their loving embrace. "This feeling. I am starting to remember this feeling of love back when we were young. Back when we remember our mother." Adagio spoke softly. The heart reading went up as they watched Sonata stir from her sleep. She opened her eyes and see that her first sight were everyone hugging. "D-did I miss anything?" She said weakly.
Adagio and Aria could not believe it. She was alive and well. Well, as well as someone who had went through Tartarus and back. Her eyes were bloodshot and aches and pains felt through out her body, telling her not to move much.

Chapter 4: Sombra's Terror
Everyone turned around to see Sonata waking up. "This is a happy ending." Rarity cried. She grabbed the nearest tissue and wiped her eyes. Pinkie Pie could hardly hold her excitement. Like a lit fuse, it was only a matter of seconds before she was bouncing off the walls. Fluttershy let out a very quiet "yay." Adagio and Aria felt a warm smile on their faces knowing that Sonata was alright. "What's going on?" She asked with a confused look on her face. Adagio wiped some tears from her eyes. "It's nothing Sonata."
A few minutes later a couple of nurses came in the room. They were escorting someone in a wheelchair. She was as yellow as Adagio. Her hair stroked back with yellow and orange colors. Her eyes are orange. There was no doubt about it. It was Spitfire. The doctors escorted her to a spare bed. She looked like she had seen better days with a few casts and several deep cuts. The girls spent a few more minutes with Rainbow Dash and Sonata before heading home. Sunset turned to Twilight. "If you want, you are welcome to stay at my place for a while." She offered.
Twilight accepted the offer and walked home with Sunset Shimmer. Not knowing a shadow has been following them. Sombra peered through the rooftops, watching as Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle walked. With a smile on his face, he faded into shadow. "I can sense blood! I sense fear!" He hissed to himself as he lowered himself into a nearby alley. It was silent and dark. A perfect place for someone like Sombra to begin his plan. He shifted around the alleyway in search of victims until he he spotted a tasty morsel. A girl who was wearing blue blouse with a flower imprinted on it. Her purple air held up by a headband.
Aqua Blossom was walking home from a movie when she heard a strange noise coming from the alleyway. "H-Hello?" She asked. "Anyone here?" Another noise came up that scared her. It came from the garbage bin. Aqua walked slowly towards the bin and opened it when something rushed out of it. She fell to the ground in a fright. She turned around only to realize that it was just a cat. "Looks like there was nothing to worry about at all." She exhaled. She stood up only to turn to come face to face with Sombra.
Sombra smiled at his victim. "What do we have here? A lost kitten?" He wrapped his shadows slowly around Aqua who was frozen in fright. She had nothing to say. "I sense great fear in you and your heartbeat is music to my ears. Do not fret little one. When I am done, no one will notice you from the bones and sinew." He laughed manically as he enveloped the poor teenager in an inescapable dark embrace. There was a faint sound of chewing as Sombra feasted upon his victim. Once he was done, there was nothing but bones lying on the ground. "My strength grows." Sombra inspected himself as he slowly regained his flesh.
"My body is returning. But I must wait a few weeks until I go to the ultimate prize." His body was almost restored as only his head is what remains in shadow. He turned around as he had heard someone coming. "What could be so foolish as to try to confront me? Could it be you? Drifter?"
Drifter stood silent. His face hidden by a hood. "I find it you are almost to your full power?" He asked the murderer. Sombra picked the skull of the late Aqua Blossom and tossed it to him."See for yourself." Drifter caught the skull and examined it. Not a spec of meat or blood stain on the skull. It looks polished and clean. Drifter crushed the skull into dust. Sombra laughed. "I will relish the day when I become whole and crush those who had done this to me!" He clenched his fist to Drifter. "And those Sirens are the key piece to my plan. I think I will start on the blue one. I will wait a few weeks for her to recover enough to move around. No fun in hunting a Siren if she is stuck in bed."
Drifter remained unmoved as Sombra explained his plans. "What you do does not bother me, I am only here to ensure Destiny is fulfilled and I can safely assure that whether you succeed or fail is irrelevant. The end result will be the same." Sombra scowled at Drifter. "You may hide in your destiny, but I will become whole and once revenge is sought, this world will drown in shadow." Sombra faded into shadow and vanished. Drifter chuckled. "Sombra, if you'd only knew of the grand design. It has been planned out since the beginning."
Six weeks had flown by like it was an eternity for Sonata Dusk. Rainbow Dash was admitted out of the hospital a couple of weeks ago. She couldn't participate in sports for a while, but she was well enough to leave. Sonata no longer needed the machines since she had woken up and felt alone. Her injuries haven't yet healed enough, but at least she can walk around and not feel like a corpse on her death bed. Spitfire sat on her bed, deep in thought. Maybe I should talk to her? She thought but insisted not to. At least that what she was going to object if Spitfire hadn't broken the silence. "Nice friends you have."
Sonata sprang up, but not too fast as to prevent her wounds from aching. She turned to face Spitfire sitting on her bed. "I've seen them come in even when you were sleeping. I can tell that they care about you, even when I heard about how Rainbow Dash saved you. Gotta say, that girl keeps surprising me. She has been showing time after time qualities to be a true Wonderbolt. I know what had happened and I am sorry that I couldn't help. My team was dealing with a situation regarding an escaped convict when we heard what happened at the warehouse."
The two of them engaged in conversation until night had fallen.
Sombra was standing at the entrance. "I've waited long enough. Time to enact my feast." He raised his hand and reached towards the Hospital. His gauntlet emitting a black fog that could render impossible for anyone to see through. The fog reached the generator and began dismantling the power, causing a hospital wide black out. Sombra made his way to the front, shattering glass that was in his way. The reception area was full of people in terror at the very sight of him. With a gesture of his hand, several blades were formed from his shadow. "Time for the feast." He snarled. The blades slashed the people in the area. Blood and body parts were sprayed across the room, changing it from white to red. Sombra used his shadows to feast on the flesh and as he did, he felt his own flesh growing back. "I am complete!" He yelled. "But I am not whole. Not yet." He examined his face.
His skin was a mixture of grey and black, his eyes glowed green and his hair burned black. His attire was that of a medieval king with black armor and a blood red cape flowing on his back. His gauntlets shown his razor sharp finger tips and bladed knuckles. His visage is so terrifying, that it gives the very demon lords down in Tartarus nightmares.
Sonata and Spitfire saw the lights go out. "What's going on? Is there a power outage?" Sonata asked, quivering in her sheets. Spitfire frowned. "No, something far worst. I've seen this kind of thing before and there is no doubt, he is here. Sombra is coming." Spitfire looked under her bed and grabbed a few guns. She also removed her bandages. "In case you were wondering, I was faking my injuries. Needed a way to get in without causing a panic. I ran through Sombra's notes where he used to be held and at the rate he's been going, he is looking for a feast, particularly human flesh." Spitfire tossed a pistol at Sonata but hit the sheets. "We need to get out of here, it's not safe for civilians."
Sonata slowly reached the gun and got out of bed. She has't completely healed so she would have trouble walking properly without feeling pain. Spitfire peered through the door to see if the coast was clear. She looked left and it was clear. She then looked right and quickly closed the door as she saw something black zoomed past, skewering anyone in its way. The two of them could hear the screams from in their room as people kept dying. Sonata went into a fettle position. It had to take some time for Spitfire to calm her down.
She heard a bang on the door. Knowing it as Sombra, she rushed Sonata into the bathroom and kept a crack opened to look through. She saw a shadow moving in the room. "I can smell you, Siren." He said. "Your power will feed my own and I shall reign over this world in eternal damnation." He inspected the beds but to no avail as they are empty. "You think yourself safe in here, but rest assured, I will take my time in this. Not like it would take long to find you." Sombra walked towards the bathroom. Spitfire quietly hid herself and Sonata in the tub and covered under a towel. When Sombra opened the door, he left as if he had't seen them.
"Sonata, do you know anything about what he was saying?" Spitfire asked. Sonata pondered. "He wants me. I'm a Siren." Spitfire gasped at the realization. "But why does he want a Siren like you?" Sonata shrugged. Spitfire was going to ask more questions but didn't feel like the time or place was appropriate for them and hurried out of the room. The hallway is a mess with blood and gore splattered across the walls and floors. "So, this is the guy you were looking for?" Sonata whispered. Spitfire nodded. "He broke out of prison few years back and we, the Wonderbolt national guard were sent here to find him since he is considered too dangerous for regular cops. We've been searching for the bastard for ten years, but every time we find a lead, there was nothing but blood and bones. We deduced as much as he goes to heavily populated areas. Areas where he can slaughter all he wants, but can still escape from us due to the chaos. He thrives on chaos and it seems something had him drawn here so I faked my injury to get myself here."
Sonata listened to the story while they look for a way out. They are on the third floor and need to get to the first floor as soon as possible. As they were looking for the exit, they heard a faint whisper. "Attack." Spitfire turned around to see a black hound. Knowing for a fact it was Sombra's shadow hound, she lead Sonata to the nearest room and opened fired on the hound. It charged as if it was ignoring the bullets and lunged itself on Spitfire. It's mouth chomping on her arm. Sonata looked back and anxiously aimed the pistol. She shut her eyes hoping she would hit and squeezed the trigger.
A loud bang was heard as Sonata opened her eyes. She hoped that she didn't accidentally shot Spitfire, but to her relief, the dog was nowhere to be seen, but it also meant that Sombra is closing in. Sonata dragged Spitfire into the room and closed the door. She turned Spitfire around and gasped in horror. Her arm was gone. As blood poured out of her missing arm, Spitfire woke up to see Sonata. "Nice shooting. For a rookie." She complimented. Sonata searched the room and found a flash light and shined it on Spitfire. She was not doing good. Her arm being gone was the least of her worries as a black flame envelops on the wound. "Listen, I need you to go on without me. I know Sombra's power all to well and it is too late for me." Sonata looked around the room for anything that can help, but all she could find that may help was a bottle of water. "That black thing is fire, right? Then if I poured this on it, then..." Sonata poured the water, but it only made it worst. Spitfire screamed. "No, Sonata. Water only makes black fire stronger. There is nothing you can do. Go, now. I will hold him off to give you time."
Sonata tried to object, but was falling on deaf ears. Spitfire knew what she was doing and was willing to die for it. Sonata gave up and ran as fast as she could, but Sombra caught up. "There you are, little Siren. Now comes the feast!" He started to enshroud her in shadow until he was shot by several bullets. "Hey! Psycho! You want a meal, I'm right here! One fresh Wonderbolt ready to dine on." Sombra looked at Spitfire and ignored Sonata which was a mistake on his end since Sonata used the chance to run like Tartarus out of the hospital. She saw a number of Wonderbolt National Guard vehicles outside and raced towards them. Soarin had gotten a call from Spitfire. "Is the blue girl out?" Soarin confirmed it. "Light it up. No more survivors. I am done..." The rest was static.
Soarin pointed out to everyone. "Alright everyone! Clear the area! This place is going down in flames!" Soarin shouted for everyone to get to safe distance before detonating the building. Sombra looked out of the window. "No! NO! YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE FROM ME! I AM THE DARKNESS THAT SHALL BLOT OUT THE SUN! I AM SOMBRA THE HELL LORD!" Soarin pressed the button and let loose dozens of explosions that engulfed the whole building in flames. Sombra ted to fight the fire, but failed as he falls into shadow, never to be seen again, save for his skull.
Sonata saw her friends standing across the street. "Goodness darling. We watched the whole thing on TV." Rarity said with a worried look on her face. "We were fearing the worst and we were about to get you until the Wonderbolts stepped in and ensured us that they have someone on the inside for the job. I am guessing that someone is Spitfire."
Rainbow Dash sped over to Soarin, wondering where Spitfire is. "Sorry Rainbow, Spitfire didn't make it." He patted her on the shoulder and signaled everyone to begin dousing the flames. Adagio Dazzle and Aria Blaze rushed alongside Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle. Sonata felt relieved that the nightmare of Sombra was over at last. Everyone was relieved that Sonata came out alive and Pinkie Pie suggested a "Sonata getting out of certain death at the hands of Sombra party" until Twilight's journal vibrated inside her bag. Twilight opened it.

Princess Celestia want you to come back to Equestria. She said it is an emergency in the highest order. I don't know what is going on, but whenever Princess Celestia says that an emergency is in the highest order, I don't question it. I will be putting the book back on the portal to get you home. Also, she said something about a grand summit or whatever that means.

"I am needed at Equestria for a summit and emergency." Twilight shouted. Adagio heard what she said. "A summit? You mean the ones where representatives of each of the four races resolve a grand threat? We should go." Twilight looked stern. "I'm sorry, but even though we are friends, what would stop you if I agree to take you, you won't trn your backs on me? And what races for the summit?"
Adagio face palmed. "We have changed our ways when we witness the magic of friendship all those weeks back. We need to go to Equestria because we are the last Sirens and it needs a Siren for the summit to work." What she spoke were true, but Twilight has no way of knowing if it was true. "Fine," She gave up. Adagio, Aria and Sonata followed Twilight. "Sunset, I want you to come with me. You should come back to Equestria." Sunset thought about it. "But Princess Celestia? How can I be sure I can face her again?"
Twilight put her hand on her shoulder. "I will be with you." Sunset smiled at her friend. "Can I count on all of you to watch over things while we are gone?" She asked. Everyone nodded. "Then take this. I may have been looking through Sunsets journal, but she let me hold on to it in case Spike wrote which in this case, now." She had given Sunsets journal to Rarity for safe keeping and left for the portal.

In the hives of Ritoulis, several changeling drones were digging for their queen. Chrysalis had sensed a power within and she will do anything to have it. "Your highness," One of the drones spoke. "We have found the door to which you seek." Chrysalis gave a chuckle and walked over to the door. It was black with green illuminated words surrounding a small hole. Chrysalis inserted her horn into the hole as the whole cave shook. The doors opened to reveal a large room with something sitting on a pedestal in front of what looks to be a throne. "Well, well. what do we have here?" Chrysalis illuminated the room to reveal hieroglyphics of the purpose of the room. "If only we'd translate these. We would know what the ancient Changelings did." Several drones agreed.
What drove Chrysalis's attention was the orb sitting on the pedestal. "I sense great power from this. power that could only rival that of..." She paused in realization. "Of course, that's it. This room was tribute to our lord! Crytalis! And with this gem, I shall continue his work and rule all!" Chrysalis laughs echoed all over the hive.

Chapter 5: Return to Equestria
Twilight, Sunset, Adagio, Aria, and Sonata walked to the portal. Twilight turned around to face the Dazzlings. "Allow me and sunset to enter first. We gotta tell my pony friends of your arrival so they won't be scared." Adagio sighed. "Why would they be scared of us? Our gems are gone and so are our true Siren forms. If you're worried about what we'd look like, I can assure you that we would most likely not look like half pony, half sea monster."
Twilight looked at the leader of the Dazzlings. She seemed to be telling the truth judging from her expression, but truths are often hidden behind such expressions. "Just give us a minute anyway. It won't be long." With that, Twilight and Sunset jumped through the portal. "1...2...3..." Sonata started counting which caused both Adagio and Aria to face palm.
Drifter approached the ruined Hospital. He adjusted a ring on his right ring finger. To himself, he didn't notice much, to others though, they would not be able to see him walking within the crime scene. He held a bottle in his opposite hand. It is empty and void of anything. Ignoring the police and detectives at work, Drifter found a black puddle next to a polished skeleton.
"Look at you, Sombra," Drifter spoke to the puddle. "To think you were able to defy Destiny and strive to grab power for yourself. And yet, you were defeated by a Wonderbolt and an moronic Siren. No matter, I shall take your essence and feed it to my master." Drifter unsealed the bottle and uttered and an enchantment that caused the black puddle to lift up and fill the bottle with its essence. Once the bottle was sealed, Drifter made his way out. "the plot thickens." he smiled. "Not even my former master can stop what is to come."

Princess Twilight and Sunset Shimmer landed on the crystal floor of the castle of friendship. "Is this your castle, Twilight?" Sunset asked. Twilight nodded and introduce her to her friends.
"Howdy Sunset. Twilight told us all about you and how you turned yourself around after that whole stealing her crown mess. No offense" Apple Jack apologized. "None taken. Don't worry, I'm used to it." Sunset told the farm pony.
"Sup Shimmy. Names Rainbow Dash" The blue Pegasus spoke out. "Fastest flyer in Equestria and THE most awesome pony to ever be born." Sunset felt like Rainbow was doing more bragging than introducing, just like the human Rainbow Dash.
"M-m-m-m-my n-n-n-name is F-F-F-Fluttershy." Sunset didn't need to ask twice as remembering how shy the human Fluttershy is.
"Charmed to finally making your acquaintance darling. I am Rarity." Rarity bowed in curtsy in which Sunset did the same.
Sunset embraced of what was to come, but was interrupted when three speedy figures whooshed past every pony and collided with a nearby table. "Owchie." Said one of the figures. Twilight removed the book from the conduit and sighed. Before she could explain a pink flash raced by and by the time Sunset could see who it was, she was treated by a pile of frosting to the face.
"Oops. Hope i am not late to the 'Welcome back princess Twilight and Sunset Shimmer party' that I was going to throw, but I was distracted by several balloons and Discord treated me to a cotton candy cloud filled with chocolate milk rain with a side of whipped cream and then-" Twilight plugged Pinkies mouth with her hoof. "Pinkie, not now. Right now we got a problem, like why did you three not wait for me to get finished?" Twilight pointed at the dust cloud.
Pinkie Pie freed her mouth. "why are you mad about a harmless little dust clo-" Pinkie shrieked and ducked for cover as the cloud lifted to reveal three ponies. Each have fin like wings. the blue one seemed to have have a unicorn horn. "Well, we would have waited if Sonata here didn't take the whole 'give us a minute' thing as literal." Aria complained, watching Sonata played with her hooves. Adagio straightened up.
Twilight sighed. "of course. Anyway, it's alright every pony. They are with me." with that reassurance, everyone had gotten out of their hiding places. "Every pony, this is Aria Blaze, Sonata Dusk and Adagio Dazzle. These are the Sirens that I spoke of."No that introductions are out of the way, we will make our way to Canterlot." But as soon as Twilight opened the castle doors, Celestia was already there.
"Good afternoon, my former student." Princess Celestia greeted Twilight. Sonata rushed towards the exit but slipped and flew past Twilight and slammed right into Celestia, causing both of them to fall over. Everyone gasped. Adagio and Aria laughed out loud at the comedy gold that they had witnessed. "Sorry." Sonata said to Princess Celestia.
Twilight helped her teacher up. "I'm so sorry, Princess Celestia. I should have told you about-" She got interrupted. "Twilight, are those three the Sirens Starswirl banished?" Twilight nodded. "I assume they are reformed seeing as how they are in your company." Twilight nodded again. "I am sorry about Sonata. She can be a little careless." Everyone looked at Sonata. She didn't looked like she cared or even noticed what went on as she looked as if she was in her own little world.
"Well then, we must get going to the summit. The rulers of Equestria should be waiting for us." Celestia told every pony.

Chapter 6: The Summit
Every pony walked with Celestia, with the Dazzlings under close watch by Twilight and Sunset Shimmer towards the train station. "Excuse me, your majesty." Twilight spoke to her former mentor. "But what exactly is a summit? And how come none of us have heard of it before now?"
Celestia smiled at her former student as they continued their walk. "The Summit is a gathering of the four great rulers of the world of Equestria. The rulers of the Equine, Dragon, Griffon and Siren would all gather when a situation as become cataclysmic. It was done so in respect of the four great lords that shaped this world into what it is now." Celestia withheld the rest until the train arrived. "For the Summit, we will be travelling alongside Princess Cadence on her train, since it is faster than the local train."
Everyone waited a few minutes before they heard a loud noise coming from the distance. A train made of crystal sped its way to the station before coming to an ear piercing halt. Once stopped, the doors opened and walked out were two guards. One crystal, and the other an orange pegasus with a blue mane. Sonata felt uncomfortable with the sight of him as he resembles the very person who tortured and tried to kill her and her sisters.
The final figure to come out was a pink Alicorn with a beautifully colored mane. "Twilight, it's been so long." Cadence told er sister in law.
"Sunshine,sunshine"
"Ladybugs awake"
"Clap your hooves, and do a little shake"
Cadence and Twilight did their usual routine whenever they met each other. It was a hoof shake as old as when Twilight was a little filly. Cadence was her foalsitter and was deemed the greatest foalsitter in the history of foalsitters.
Once every pony was on the train, (with Sonata being levitated by Cadence since she is frozen in fear of Flash Sentry) each of them took their seats and the train began running. Celestia stood and walked towards the center. "May I have every pony's attention please." She spoke. The lights dimmed and a holographic orb appeared out of nowhere.
"As I said, The Summit is a gathering of the four great rulers of Equestria, but the reasoning behind it goes as back to when the four lords shaped the world." The orb shifted to a desolate planet. "Equestria, like the many worlds in the universe started off as desolate, until four beings traveled the cosmos to this world to shape it."
The orb became four figures. The first revealed was a large celestial dragon with wings of stardust and claws of astral metal. "Drakion, the Dragon Lord. With his fire, he had made the sun and glassed the planet into shaping."
The orb revealed the second figure. It's scales shone brightly and fins were beautiful. The Dazzlings watched as the figure sang a song and brought the rain. "Symphony, the Siren Lord. Her songs called upon the waters that now take residence on the planet."
The third figure revealed as a majestic mix of Eagle and Lion. His talons were sharp and wings were spread as far as the planet and flapped his wings. "Grixis, the Griffon Lord. His wings created the air of which all things breath and gave the creatures of wings flight."
The final figure as the Dazzlings shaking in their hooves as it looked like the very Alicorn that destroyed their pendants during the battle of the bands. "Galaxia, the Equine Lord. Her magic and omniomorpic spell casting has brought to life, a number of creatures who walk the earth."
Celestia told them about the task that the Lords had done and revealed a fifth figure. A being cloaked in shadow and extruding green eyes. "Crytalis, the Changeling Lord. Also known as the Corrupter, he attempted to destroy the balance of harmony between the four lords by infusing his own power into the Heart of Equestria. After the artifact exploded, the pieces erupted into orbs and scattered into their respective lands."
The hologram faded and lights went back on to find Sonata, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie cowering in a corner. "That is a scary story!" Pinkie yelled.
Celestia began to speak again. "The situation that calls the attention of The Summit is this: Queen Chrysalis, the queen of the Changelings have discovered the Crytalis orb. We have sensed it and the call was sounded."
Twilight kept her mouth hanging open until Pinkie Pie closed it for her. "Silly Twilight, don't you know not to leave your mouth open?"
The rest of them had many questions, as they have learned so much in a short time. Celestia had no time to discuss further before retreating to her private section of the train.
Sonata broke the silence. "What do we do now? I mean, this changes perspectives a lot. I would have thought that the siren would be the evil one."
Twilight was relieved that the Siren Lord was on their side. "Just because you three made bad choices, doesn't mean all Sirens are like that, I mean, I hope. I don't know a thing about the Sirens or why my book only mentions the three of you." She levitated a book and shown the Dazzlings their pictures.
Sonata looked at the picture. "Hey! Our muzzles are not that thin!" She spoke in disgust.
"It's just an artist's description of what a Siren might look like. Obviously, the pictures don't really show off your Siren forms beauty. Even at the battle of the bands, I still was able to marvel at your true forms." Twilight complimented.
Flash Sentry walked in which gave Sonata a scare and hopped on Twilight's back. "Sonata, what are you afraid of?" The it hit her, she remembered that Sonata wasn't yet fully healed after what Flash had done. Physically, she is fine, but emotionally and mentally, she isn't.
"Sonata, this Flash Sentry is different. This one is Equestrian and is a member of the guards in the Crystal Empire." The words reached Sonata who seems to be relaxed enough to get off of Twilight's back.
"I'm here to tell every pony that we will be arriving to the Neutral Zone in 2 minutes." He spoke. "Hello, Princess Twilight." He spoke fondly.
Twilight blushed. "Hello to your too, Flash." Twilight snapped out of her trance. "Uh, Flash. This is Sonata Dusk, my friend. Go on, say hi." She pushed Sonata towards Flash.
"Greetings, Sonata. You don't to be afraid. As royal guard, it is my duty to protect Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and her entourage from harm." He spoke formally before walking out.
The train came to a halt and let every pony off. The Neutral Zone was inside a giant mountain that borders the different nations. Everyone entered the ancient halls to find a massive lobby in a circular shape. Beyond was a door with an insignia. The insignia resembles that of an Alicorn which must mean that Equines enter there. "Princess Luna will be here soon. In the meantime, Princess Cadence and Princess Twilight will follow me and the rest of you wait here."
Adagio spoke out to the Princess. "Where's the Siren door? I need to attend as the last Siren."
Celestia sighed. "No Adagio. This Summit is for the rulers, and you and your sisters may be the only Sirens remaining, but you are not royalty. I'm sorry, but you cannot attend." With that, she left with the other princesses.
Adagio was furious. There was no way that she could be diminished so easily, least of all, Celestia. The rest of the mane six went their way to the viewing room and the Dazzlings soon follow when they saw a bright light. It was a light they knew too well as Discord emerged. "Let's see, turn right on the intersection and-" He was looking at a map when he saw the Dazzlings.
"Oh, looks like I am here." Discord viewed his surroundings. "Hmmm, I don't remember you three ponies anywhere in Equestria, but you do feel familiar." He shifted his view to the Dazzlings. "Now where in the world do I remember you at?"
Sonata shuddered at what Discord might be thinking. Sure, she is not the sharpest sword on the rack, but even she knew that Discord has a mind like a bag of cats. "Oh, I now remember. You three are Sirens that Star Swirl banished. To be honest, I couldn't quite easily identify you without your crystal hearts." He pointed at their chests which would have a red gem embedded in it when they were Sirens, but now, without it, they are ponies.
"I see that you three are the only ones left, but I don't see you going to your place. Why is that?" Discord asked. Adagio gave a sigh. Clearly, Discord is being cruel and playing on their situation for a few laughs.
"It's because we lost our power to sing and now we are at the mercy of Princess Twilight. They say that we are their friends, but I can't help questioning myself why?" Adagio explained their situation to Discord which drove a big smile on his face.
"Ohhh. Looks like we have something in common then." Discord told smoothly. "I was in a similar situation like you, but dear Fluttershy brought me as a friend. That is until I betrayed them for Tirek, but after being betrayed by the warlord, I finally learned that Friendship really is magic. And Ta-Da! Here I am." Discord snapped his fingers and the Dazzlings found themselves with sombreros. Sonata looked up with glee with the other two giving themselves confused looks until Discord pulled a piece from Adagio's head. "They are edible." He told them, taking a bite.
"Well, glad to have that out of the way." Aria groaned. "But what does any of this have anything to do with us not being able to attend this Summit?" She pointed at her hat which instantly vanished as Sonata ate the whole thing whole and gave a loud burp.
"Maybe I can help." Discord advised. "I can make Adagio queen and the two of you princesses for the summit. Of course, this won't make you three into Sirens anymore because your gems that are he only way to have you survive is gone. But I can fetch you three the items needed for it to be legal. I will just be a second." Discord snapped his fingers and was gone.
Within 10 seconds, Discord showed up in a scuba outfit with seaweed and and octopus on his goggles. He held in his paw and talon a crown and 2 tiaras. "I, Discord, now pronounce Adagio Dazzle queen of the Sirens and entail Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk as princesses of the Sirens." He spoke in a regal mocking voice as he placed the crown on Adagio's head and the tiaras on Sonata and Aria.
The Dazzlings leap with excitement."Now, since there are no other Sirens in existence, I will announce your entrance. I will even use this." Discord held up a tuba. "Now, shall we?" He led the newly crowned Sirens to their entrance
